I've been seeing Lauren for eyebrow waxing for years, and she truly is the best! Her attention to detail and skill always leave me thrilled with the results. Recently, I had permanent brows done by Brianna, and she was fantastic as well. She made the whole process comfortable and the results are stunning. Highly recommend both Lauren and Brianna for all your eyebrow needs!

As someone who gets super uncomfortable trying out new places, and especially new people on my face... The Body Department made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I was interested in Botox and starting to get facials (26 F), and Brianne and Alexs answered all of my questions, before and after, and made the whole experience conformable. Brianne picked out a facial that would be perfect for me and Alexs made my first Botox experience as comfortable as possible.

I love this place. The service is impeccable and professional. Irina was very knowledgeable. She could have up sold me in another area of my face but she told me I didn’t need it. The owner is very sweet and accommodating. She was able to fit me in with my hectic schedule. The inside is beautiful and relaxing too.

Just got permanent ombré and nano brows done as a model for a class they were teaching. They made me feel comfortable about a making a permanent decision on my face. They gave me options, they took their time, their attention to detail made me feel so at ease. I knew from the detailed mapping of my brows I was going to love the result and I absolutely do ! Now I can go make up free and have absolutely perfect brows! Cannot recommend them enough …. I have always been happy and confident walking out of the body department . 10/10 highly recommended

Had a great experience with Gabriella, getting a glass facial. She is super knowledgeable, sweet and super gentle when doing any extractions. Honestly the best facial I have ever had! Place is clean, calming and staff is very nice! Highly recommend!

I have been getting my brows and wax services by Gabriella for at least two years and I trust no one other than her! She is the brow queen hands down! So precise, so clean, and very gentle. She provides a great service and is very skilled especially with brows. I always recommend her!

I recently had the pleasure of going to The Body Department for Botox and it exceeded all my expectations! In the past I’ve gotten many eyebrow definitions with Lauren, who is VERY skilled. Everytime I leave her chair I am amazed by my brows. This time around I wanted to try a new service and had my mind set on botox. When I say it was the BEST experience I’ve had, I truly mean it. Irina did my Botox, and let me say I was so impressed by the level of expertise demonstrated by her. She walked me through what the injections do and what to expect, then made sure to zone in on any concerns I had. She made me feel very calm and we had the sweetest conversation as she was injecting me. She’s so good I barely felt a thing!! Irina really made me feel so at ease. If you are looking for a place that not only delivers incredible results, but gives you an amazing experience.. this is the place to go to!! I’m so excited to return for my next appointment. Update: I went back to TBD to try a new service and I’m hooked again!!! I did a Glass Skin facial with Lauren and it was the BEST facial I’ve ever gotten! She took time to ask questions about my skin and my goals, then told me all the products she would be using and what they do. The environment was clean, calming, smelled of lavender and had great music. The massaging on my face was so relaxing and I didn’t feel any extractions (hands of an angel). As I was mid-facial, Lauren noticed other areas of my skin that needed improvement and offered additional services like LED therapy, hydrojelly mask and cold therapy. These services are already included in the facial price, so it was nice to know I was getting additional care without having to pay a crazy amount for the extras. After my facial, my face felt sensational- so hydrated and glowing. I cannot wait for my next facial!

All I have to say is THANK GOODNESS I found Lauren Cruz & The Body Department. What a great group of women who work here! I enjoy every time I have an appointment and throughly look forward to my next!!!! Not to mention Lauren basically SAVED my eyebrows from complete and total disarray! Don’t waste your time or money elsewhere like I have. These ladies are simply the best!

BEST BOTOX AND FILLER IN WESTFIELD SCOTCH PLAINS AREA HANDS DOWN!!!! Ann Marie was so knowledgeable and her expertise and background in plastic surgery made me feel beyond comfortable. She listened to my concerning areas and tackled them with ease!! The whole time she made sure I was in no pain and made this process so relaxing. I feel so beautiful and refreshed!!! Lauren alwayssss slays my brows. She is a master and makes them go from neglected mid brows to clean and precise detail that goes above and beyond any of my expectations. I've been so happy since I found this great med spa which is near my house/work. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. I cannot say enough about Anne Marie, who I've had the pleasure of working with twice. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but so truly kind. I have recommended my friends and colleagues. Anyone looking for a good med spa should look no further! I couldn't be more pleased.

Quite simply, I couldn’t be happier. I’ve worked with many practitioners over the years, but Aleksandra is light years above the rest. This is the place to go if you want state of the art Botox and fillers. I’d love to have a Time Machine, but this is the next best thing. I strongly recommend giving The Body Department a shot.

Awful rudeness by owner at The Body Department Scotch Plains. I try to support local, even though the woman carelessly dropped a tool in my eye, but to talk down to me in a passive aggressive manner because of rejecting a strong sales pitch to upgrade my service by $125 is the final straw.

Literally the BEST experience EVERR. Everyone is so kind and patient, the place is so CUTE and super clean, the treatment I got was IMMACULATE, the SERVICE was out of this world— I literally feel like I was born again and then relocated to a higher dimension. My facial was **LITERALLY** the MOST relaxing, therapeutic, safe-feeling thing I have ever felt in my life and the whole process was just PARADISE. My skin was NEEDING that. I feel absolutely unreal. Like a little crystal glass of strawberry yogurt with sparkling whipped cream on top and it’s sloooowly and cinematically escalating to heaven. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place!
