I had a great relationship with this place and have been a customer for a few years. I’ve always tipped extremely well, referred them to many of my friends, followed and promoted them on social media, was always very patient if I couldn’t be seen at my assigned time, and even brought in cupcakes for the crew my last visit because I love it here. I just drove 4hrs back from Jacksonville (about 4.5 hrs because Thanksgiving traffic— naturally only 3.5 hrs away but I sat in traffic for an hour to get here) and was 30 mins late to a $65 micro needling Black Friday deal appt which was paid in full in advance. I was told I lost out on the full $65 or id just have to completely reschedule my appt. If I did reschedule, they would only credit half back to my acct to go towards that appt. I’ve always supported this business and it just really hurt that they wouldn’t accommodate any other way as I have been here and loyal for years. I wouldn’t have minded rescheduling but at least place that $65 towards my next appt as you would have most definitely seen me years to come. I didn’t expect to be seen today once they told me I was late, but $65 is still a lout of money and only half going towards the rescheduled appt didn’t sit right with me. This place is also 40 minutes away from my house :/ I hope the owner understands how a loyal customer could be hurt by this. Edited response: I called the facility that day and no one answered. No one ever answers at the facilities anytime I’ve attempted in the past as well; I know that and am fully okay with it because you guys are always working hard. I’ve been a long standing irregular (scheduled) client who was very loyal and always patient when I had to wait for any service I’ve had in st Pete. I’ve always adored everyone in the company. All I’m doing in this review is pointing out that I understand this is a small business, but I thought the loyalty of a kind customer would have some sort of weight to it in a familial aspect, especially with the explanation of why they were late. I understand that doesn’t pay the bills but coming through for the customers that come through for you (I rally behind and post you all a lot) — I thought it would hold some significance. I now understand that it doesn’t and I apologize for my misunderstanding that.

I love the Blush Bar because they have improved my uneven skin tone, texture, and appearance on my face. I have always dealt acne and dark spots in my cheek bones, but since I have been a client of theirs, I have seen a tremendous difference in my skin. The Blush bar gives you the treatment and professional advice to help your skin flourish. One of the best choices I made was to schedule an appointment at your business. My face feels and looks so refreshed after my facial with microdermabrasion and an eye treatment. Aicha asked me about my concerns and then told me what she saw. She was then able to recommend another service to help achieve my goals. She was professional, gentle and pleasant to talk to. I definetly trust Blush with my skincare needs and I highly recommend.

Really great experience overall. I had a facial with Aicha. She addressed all of my skin concerns while providing thoughtful suggestions on how to achieve my skin goals. The facility is clean, comfortable, and quiet, with nice throwback jams on as background music. Ample free parking. Easy access from the highway/downtown Tampa. I will be back regularly for my skincare and will be sending my friends here as well. I’d highly recommend The Blush Bar Tampa 😄 & Thank you, Aicha!

Had my first ever Brazilian wax back in August 2023 and Jayden was super sweet and made it so comfortable! She told me what she was doing before anything! The results were amazing! We made conversation and it was making me feel more at ease.. I was in the process of some personal stuff so I was not able to go back until recently and Jayden remembered our conversation and we picked up from there! It made me happy and feel so relaxed to go there again! She is great at what she does! She did tell me that since I shaved not to long ago I may have stubbies which I was fine with and I understand 100% but the results where nothing but smooth!! Thanks Jayden!

I’ve been going to this location for the last few years and they’ve consistently delivered amazing service and results. My last 2 visits I had services performed by Aicha and she is so kind, gentle and overall impressive! I love that she talks you through every step of what she’s doing and it’s obvious that she’s incredibly knowledgeable about all of the services she performs and the different products and techniques in use. The attached pic is me after having a Deluxe Facial & Microdermabrasion done.

So I had a detox facial here and it's definitely not a place for a relaxing experience, that they did mention on thier site. Let me preface my review by saying i get facials regularly and this was not my 1st detox facial. But I do think they could do better with client hospitality & comfort though ,especially when you are going for a facial, maybe with offering water,a more comfortable table for lying down,a pillow for under the knees etc. The whole process felt rushed. Also the extraction process was not great. I am no stranger to a good extraction but during my service I was in a unnecessary amount of pain. Especially when you using tools of delicate skin. I immediately left with big red bumps and inflammation post extractions.Even the ultrasonic spatula tool was horrible I felt like she would scrape the moles off my face she was scraping so hard and this was one of the 1st steps. . I did mention my discomfort and no change in pressure . Also the technician used the tips of her fingernails to cleanse and rub my face for the better part of my facial,which was also uncomfortable I have had facials before and nothing like this I do especially think it could be a technician issue and not a problem for everyone that works here. I hope the technicians make some adjustments especially during the extraction process.

I pondered on this 2 days now for so many reasons.. I feel obligated to post proof on how this small black own business chose to handle a question to a post on their IG business page. This could've been handled so much better, it's sad to say the stereotypes grow and keep breathing off situations just like this ... I'll also be posting this on all of my social platforms as well... Something told me to take screenshots immediately because the post still stands but they've deleted my comments and blocked my personal page. However I too have a business page that is not blocked...They need to be exposed this type of behavior is not acceptable especially from our own kind and we all look at that one friend crazy that doesn't want to go to a black owned establishment because of this reason right here .. Not only have I've been serviced here but I referred over a dozen family and friends in the years i've visited Florida... not a good look and I'll for sure be going else where .. EVERY LOCATION, EVERYTIME 10 STARS HANDS DOWN!!!! I live in TX but fortunately my kids grandparents live in Tampa. So every visit, I'm at Blush. So welcoming so inviting- You really can schedule with ANYBODY here you'll receive the same top tier level of service every single time!! They start on time, and allll you time is focused on your service- no fake back and shoulder rubs real SKIN one on one time! My last appointment was at the Pinellas location, with Cheniya- she had me laughing the entire appointment and was so gentle with my little kitty cat LOL!!! I can't wait for my next visit in June! 10/10 recommend (but don't y'all be hogging all the dang appointments!!!!!)

I have not been to the Blush Bar in a year and I am so excited to book an appointment with my friend. This place is great the staff is top tier, and the service is outstanding. I met the owner when she only had one shop and she is the most humble and sweetest person you ever want to meet. Do yourself a treat and visit this wonderful place.

I have to say this place is EVERYTHING. I have been a customer here for some time and have been having some skin issues. From the moment you walk in the staff is very welcoming and the place is just so chic 😍 I have had detox facials and microneedling sessions. My skin is super sensitive and I get pretty nervous when I am going to do a new type of facial I haven’t had before and the girls are all so welcoming and know just how to relax you. I also bring my daughter in for facials and they are so sweet and caring with her. They always take the time to explain the procedure process and check in on you to ensure everything is going well. Absolutely love this place and will forever be a customer here. Thank you ladies for being so wonderful!!!

I just want to say that Aicha and her staff went above and beyond today to service me during an area wide power outage. She was patient, kind and made sure to make me as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I will most definitely be back in a month to continue my microneedling sessions. I scheduled an appointment for a Brazilian + Vajacial as well as a Deluxe Facial + Dermaplaning. The Brazilian + Vajacial was not bad. The waxer that worked on me was a bit rough however I know the waxing process is going to be painful so it was not a problem. She was very thorough and made sure to re-wax any missed spots. Also, the girl that did my wax was nice and tried to talk to me so that I would be comfortable. The problem began when I switched over to another girl (I believe she was the owner) for a Deluxe Facial + Dermaplaning. As soon as I laid down she began asking me about my skin care routine and then proceed to rudely judge what I was using. I’m all for recommendations and corrective tips but it’s all about how you speak to customers. It seemed like she had an attitude as soon as we started. She analyzed my skin (which is fine) and then asked if I had any questions. I told her no, and it seemed like she had an issue with that. She started my facial with cleansing and then started using a suction tool. I was visibly in pain while she was using the tool because she was applying so much pressure, it was almost unbearable. (No warning that it would possibly hurt either). She then started the extractions which were so painful I started crying. I’ve had facials before, so I know extractions don’t feel good, however she was being way too rough. I finally just told her to stop and we ended the facial. My face has been swollen since then, which has never happened to me before. I finally just paid for my wax and left. I really wanted to support this business, but there are way too many other black owned businesses in the area that I know have better customer service and customer experience. *IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY* The fact that you responded with so many lies proves what type of business this is. If you felt like your business was not the place for me then you should have recommended that I leave and not proceed to perform a service. I never once spoke to anyone about having “an outside issue”. I was never rude to anyone nor did I raise my voice at anyone. I asked you to stop because I was in so much pain and you asked me if I wanted to stop the service which I said yes. Please do not try and make this seem like I was scarring other customers because you and everyone else that was there knows that’s not true. Also, it’s sick that you would try and turn this into a mental health issue when I was only upset due to the painful service. The fact that you have to attack customers instead of taking accountability to improve your business just proves how unethical of a business owner you are.

I would never recommend a detox facial here. I don't think the beauticians who work here has enough exp on removing blackheads. It is so painful and after couple of days it created a darkspots on my nose and fore head.

My mother and I went in for facials we told the technicians this was our first time at their spa and my mom's first ever facial. First, the place is clean, has a nice aesthetic and you can make an appointment. This facility isn't for relaxation. I have had a facial before where it was a good mix of both correction and relaxing. However, when I told my technician that I wanted less correction today and more hydration and relaxing she informed me that's not what they do. My biggest issue is that my mom wasnt told what was going to be done before it was done. So she had her face scraped and poked without warning. And I feel like client communication is lacking. Overall if you need correction or wanted to improve acne then this is the place but if you want to relax and just pamper yourself then go somewhere else.

Okaaaaaaay. Just left the blush bar. Surprised my other half with his first detox facial and it was also my first detox facial. Atmosphere was clean, music was on point, staff were very friendly. My hubby had Raven, who was so informative and patient on our needs. Overall it was a really cool experience. We will definitely be back.

This was my first time ever getting a brazilian wax and vajacial and let me tell yall about Raven. She took my mind off everything. She and I talked that I didn't even realize she had completely waxed me. No pain, no nothing - just conversation. And the vajacial - OMG! Let's just say they are about to take all of my coins. I would definitely recommend the Blush Bar for any facials, waxes, jacials.....anything you may need.

Very pleased with the service I got. I got my first Brazilian wax by Raven, along with a vagacial! It was not what I was expecting. She was super kind and friendly, and I am more than pleased with the service and plan to return in 4 weeks and even bring a friend! The Tampa location is clean and smells fantastic 10/10 for sure.
