Cai is a genius. Cut and color are perfect every single time. Plus she’s hilarious and so warm and makes you feel right at home. And don’t get me started on Danah’s makeup (for my baby and bridal showers, wedding, literally every special occasion). 10/10, The Beauty Spot rules.

I have been going here since it opened and will never go anywhere else !!! Cai does my hair and I’m always AMAZED at the outcome, it’s always better than what I could imagine. The atmosphere is so welcoming and comfortable, all the stylists and professional and really take the time to listen to you to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want! I recommend this salon over and over to everyone, you’re truly in the best hands when it comes to the spot fam :)

I have been going to Cai for nearly a decade at this point, now at three locations. I'd follow her anywhere. It's rare to find someone so talented who genuinely feels like a friend. I always feel beautiful when I leave Cai's salon and highly recommend her services to everyone I know

I’ve been coming to The Beauty Spot for a little over a year now and always have great results. I enjoy being in a salon where I feel comfortable being myself, not judged and treated well as a client. The staff allows space for their customers to feel open and have fun while doing something for themselves. I’m so happy to find The Spot and share it with friends. I’ve been going to Cai for a little over a year now and she is INCREDIBLE!! She removed years of box dye from my hair, and was able to get my hair to the most beautiful lived in blonde color while keeping it super soft and healthy! She is transparent in regards to expectations and keeps the integrity of your hair in mind. If you’re looking for an insanely talented hairstylist who will always make you feel beautiful, Cai is your girl ❤️

The owner of the salon has been doing my hair for years! This is Truly the best salon on the island. The atmosphere and vibe is great. No matter what you want done to your hair there is a stylist who can do it for you!!! Oh and you can also get your make up done here too!!!

had A magic sleek treatment at this salon. I had it once , and noticed it didn't take like it. Usually does . I tried again , figuring it was a Fluke . No . The magic sleek totally didn't take and was out of my hair in 2 months . I've been having this hair straightening treatment for years and never had this experience . Both operators technique and application were perfect . I believe it was the quality of the product . I've never had this issue - happened once and then again even worse . I contacted the owner about it and she claimed she would get back to me and never did . It's been weeks since I spoke to her . Also , telling me , the operators should have explained to me about the issue - no- you are the owner of the business , it's your responsibility and accountability to your customers . So , needless to say , I certainly would not recommend this business at all . It is also important to mention that- I had it done during Covid with someone at My house - that was years ago - I've had it in salons since - for years - since covid was about 5 years ago . I also don't need to hear about your personal business- has nothing to do with the issue of hair

So many amazing stylists in one salon!! The Beauty Spot has one of the best salon environments I've ever been in. The whole vibe is really social and welcoming. You are with one stylist who gives you their full attention. I've met some really wonderful women coming here and had some great conversations. It's such a diverse salon that truly embodies inclusion, all amazing women empowering each other. I have been seeing Cai for over a year now, she's transformed my hair time after time. I'm attaching photos but they don't do justice, my hair always looks so refreshed and beautiful. Cai is so good at what she does that it's become a family trip. Cannot imagine going anywhere else

My stylist Jacquie is not only skilled, but also has taken the time throughout the time we have spent together to fully understand exactly what I want. And she has never disappointed me. In fact we are at a point now where I just look at her and say something as simple as "just do the voodoo you do so well" and I walk out of there a brand new person! And not just Jacquie, but the entire staff at Beauty Spot; Cai (the owner), Danah everybody there are true professionals. They are attentive, accommodating, and make sure that every client feels like a VIP. I saw Cai at The Beauty Spot & I can not say enough good things about her & the staff at The Beauty Spot! When you walk in you’re greeted by such positive staff and infectious energy. Julia has been doing my hair for YEARS and she out does herself every time! I've walked in there multiple times with jet black hair and she gives me something gorgeous! Cai is an absolute angel and works complete magic when she does my hair. She took me from my virgin color to red head and I’ll never look back. She knows how to do a perfect cut on thickkkk curly/wavy type hair and I always get the best compliments on my hair because of her. If you get the opportunity definitely book with Cai❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

She gives such a warm welcoming vibe and I also love love loveeeee how she always adds tinsel in my hair for an extra pop!!!! Tatum is amazing I highly recommend

The Beauty Spot is a 10/10 all around. The salon is so clean and has such a cute vibe. They use high-quality products that make my hair feel so luscious and healthy. All the hairdressers are so welcoming and entertaining throughout the appointment. I have light brown hair, but Tatum does an amazing job at lightening me to a blonde but where it still looks completely natural. She blows my hair out perfectly to how I want it styled and I always leave feeling so confident and beautiful!! Would definitely recommend this salon to anyone for whatever style they are looking for!!

The beauty spot is the place to go! I have been going there for about 2 years now and I never leave disappointed! Tatum is beyond amazing, she is extremely friendly/personable and makes me feel comfortable every time! The owner Cai is amazing and very funny/sweet! I am a blonde and tatum has gotten my hair to perfection!! Definitely recommend for blondes and any other services!

Came in for a deep condition because my hair was in need of some love. I recently received a bad hair cut in September and have had PTSD since then. Cai suggested a little trim. I felt so at ease and safe at The Beauty Spot. What a great environment. Cai and Danah who was also in the salon were so sweet and hilarious. I felt like I walked in and was hanging out with friends I've known forever. I'm looking forward to my magic sleek appointment. My hair is in recovery and I am so glad I found a great salon and stylist.

I moved to Long Island, NY February 2020, yes right before COVID shut everything down! Since I’ve been here I have tried 5 different stylists, and after giving them all a couple of times I just wasn’t happy with the end results. Then I found Cai!! She’s amazing and I’m so happy I finally found my salon home in NY.
