Absolutely love going to The Beauty Alcove! Jenny is a delightful person and an extremely gifted stylist and does color and highlights with perfection! Always gives freely of her abundant knowledge regarding any hair concern. She listens to your wants and she does wonders with my thick wavy hair. When I first moved to Florida I went to many salons and could not find a consistent hair stylist to cut and highlight my hair. Then a friend recommended Jenny and I have never left. She is fabulous! I highly recommended Jenny and can assure you that you will love her too!

Jenny is so good at what she does! I love my hair every time I get it done. She listens to what you want and adds her expertise and experience to give you the perfect hairstyle and color. I feel like I’m with my best friend when I’m at her salon.

Jenny knows my hair & all that is best for it! She is super knowledgeable & great with my red/gold color! She doesn't try to upsell me on things I dont need. She even let me look at my scalp under a microscope! She is always upbeat and a great energy to be around. I highly recommend her!!!

I have been going to Jenny since my friend recommended her back in 2017 or so. She always puts me right at ease and has done an amazing job coloring my hair. I was sooooo nervous before my first hair dye. Can you believe I had never dyed my hair until I was 38? I was a hair dye-ing virgin! Lol. I had nightmares for a week leading up to the appt. (seriously!) Lol Despite the anxiety, I trusted Jenny completely and when I didn’t heed her original advice, she squeezed me into her busy schedule 2 days later so we could go with the color recommendation that she had originally made that I didn’t listen to. Haha. Once I listened to her recommendations, I LOVED my hair color! I have since recommended my sister and a friend to go see Jenny and they are now hooked! Not only is she great at what she does, but she is smiley, personable, friendly and professional. I highly recommend her. Furthermore, the salon is so welcoming and cozy. I drive all the way down to Bonita from Sarasota for my appointments!

Jenny is AMAZING! I moved down to SWFL nearly 6 years ago & tried several salons before finding Jenny. None of the salons compared to her services. I had several friends recommend her and I am so thankful they did. I see Jenny for highlights, haircuts, blow drying, styling & eyebrow waxing. She has done a wonderful job every time! Not only does she do a great job with the services, but she is also very welcoming, helpful, easy to talk to, and makes sure I am comfortable throughout my appointment. I would 10/10 recommend Jenny!

Jenny is wonderful! I’ve been going to her for 7+ years, I lost count! Whether I am doing my standard highlight and trim, or adding fun colors (pink, purple, blue), she always produces a fantastic result! I had longer hair, and decided one time to cut it much shorter! She helped me with a cut for my hair type. She is great with suggestions when I describe what I want done. I always leave the salon happy! Plus she does amazing scalp massages when shampooing your hair. Very knowledgeable, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I started having Jenny do my hair last year through a friend and it was the best decision I ever made. It is so hard to find a hair stylist that actually listens to you and brings your vision to reality. Jenny is an incredible person inside and out and it shows through her work that she loves what she does. I get compliments on my hair often about the color and cut. She has a great personality and she truly cares about her patients. I am so grateful I found her! I would recommend Jenny to anyone!

If you want the perfect color, Jenny is your girl! She uses the best vegan and cruelty free products and is always finding new lines to test and recommend. The studio is so cute and always very homey. Jenny does an amazing job working with you to get exactly what you want and makes you feel beautiful every appointment. Can't say enough about what an amazing experience you will have every time. I moved to the other coast and still come back to see Jenny at Salon Shine.

Jenny has been my hairdresser for 10 years. She is wonderful. A wonderful person and a very talented stylist. My husband and son go to her as well because they trust her with there wavy hair. She’s great with color (for me) too! Oh yes, my mother and sister get there short haircuts (my length varies) from her also. Thank you for taking such good care of us all, Jenny! I moved to Florida 5 years ago and spent 3 of those years looking for a hair stylist that could cut curly hair. I finally found Jenny at Salon Shine and have been going there ever since. Jenny is not only a great stylist she is a wonderful person! I would highly recommend her no mater what kind of hair you have. She is a real professional!

I have been going to Jenny for almost a year now and she is amazing!! My hair had been badly damaged from years of bleaching at a different salon but thanks to Jenny, it's now back healthy and way less maintenance. She gradually started to incorporate my natural color as the low light and I couldn't be happier! The placement of her foils is perfect. She listens and is able to create exactly what I ask for. She's also a pleasure to chat with and is so sweet. Can't say enough good things, highly recommend!!! :)

I used to avoid having my hair done anybody else at all costs, maybe getting a haircut twice per year (I know) because I’ve had so many bad experiences with people giving me horrible cuts...as in, taking four inches off when requesting a trim. I resisted going regularly for the longest time until a friend introduced me to Jenny. Jenny is a professional in every sense of the word and I always leave with a smile on my face. I get regular cuts and highlights/lowlights when I see her and she does an amazing job every single time. I would highly recommend going to her if you’re looking for somebody dependable and talented.
