Very sensory-friendly hair salon. Great for people with disabilities or are just sensitive and prefer a gentle hair stylist. Wheelchair accessible too. Amy is excellent with kids and adults!

Literally the most amazing hair salon I've ever been to. I'm autistic and I HATE having my hair cut. It's itchy, and I'm very fidgetty. Because of this, I avoided hair cuts for YEARS. I would do it myself at home(it never turned out "right") but I got my hair cut here once and I will never cut it at home again. Tamara cut my hair and she did such an awesome job. I would highly recommend her. She was perfect! The environment is very kid friendly, there are toys and movies and a big bean bag chair you can lay out on! I loved what she did to my hair, I love that she let me fidget the entire time and didn't get frustrated with me. I love that she didn't try to force awkward conversation. It was the best experience I've ever had with getting my hair cut. My nephew also got his hair cut here and she did an awesome job with him too. I will definitely be back. I have never had such a wonderful experience while getting my hair cut. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you hate getting your haircut. Also, the parking lot is super easy to navigate! Thank you so much for making it such a great experience y'all!

Hair stylist was incredibly patient with my autistic son. He was EXTREMELY nervous. She remained calm and patient the entire time. She really tried her best to make him as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your kindness.

I've taken my son with ASD here about three times and its been a wonderful experience. The only haircut where my son didnt have a meltdown. Amy is phenomenal and will definitely be my son's stylist for years to come. They are booked in advance for weeks and have a small staff, so you might have to call multiple times to schedule an appointment. I can honestly say they are totally worth it.

Tamara was amazing with my son. My son has trouble with haircuts and his sensory input but she did his hair cut so well and fast with him crying and moving around so crazily. I am so glad for the referral to come to this place. And my son loved the trucks that were in the toy area which Tamara even finished up his hair at the toy area just so that he was comfortable and distracted. Above and beyond. Thank you so much

Amy was amazing. Love this place, itsalwaysso clean and Amy is always so friendly and patient. Veryp kid friendly! If you have a child who is afraid of getting a haircut then this is the place for you. She also cuts adult hair.

I Love This Place Perfect For Children On The Spectrum!!!! If I Drove I Would Go Everytime For My Autistic Sons Haircut I Live To Far So I Cannot Go My Son Doesn't Love Long Bus And Trolley Rides Anymore So We Cut With Family....Highly Recommend This Place!!!

We have been going to see Amy for over 5 years. The “we” is parents and all children, and we can’t imagine getting a haircut anywhere else. She knows exactly what each of us needs and we go there every three weeks without fail (the “boys”, ladies in our family will take a little longer to go back). If you want a more personal and professional approach to getting your hair done, this is your place.

Amy is amazing at what she does! I always recommend her to my clients , you do have to make reservations it's a MUST! She is usually super booked because of the fantastic job she does, and she's super patient and has a lot of tips and tricks. If your child has trouble sitting for a long time she'll cut his hair standing up, sitting on the bean bag or playing with toys

This place is AMAZING! Everything about tHAIRapy is geared towards helping each person with the most comfortable experience they can have. They specialize in special needs clients. The atmosphere is calming and set up with sensory walls and toys. My son has ASD and SPD and I've been taking him here for almost a year now. He has started to form a bond with Juan and actually gets excited to get his hair cut and looks forwarded to seeing him. I've even had my own hair done here! We travel over 20 miles to come to this salon and would go even further if necessary. We love tHAIRapy!
