I forget the name of the girl that helped me. I asked for a balayage and she lightened my hair so much in one go it got really damaged afterward. My sister who gets her hair done regularly told me she didn't do a good job as it shouldnt have ended up so damaged. I'm dissapointed I paid $225. They were all nice and talkative but doesn't represent work. Plus tip, for her to do a rushed job. I wanted a Caramel balayage not so blonde even showed a picture the day before... maybe not a rushed job but a careless one.

It was my first time here and I had a wonderful experience. I called in to make an appointment to color my hair and was assigned Tara. Not only was she extremely nice and welcoming, but my hair turned out so well!

I've always had a great experience at this salon. My hairstylist is wonderful. However, I wanted to write this review in regard to one of the owners of the salon, Heidi Nelson. I have tinnitus in my ear and loud music sets it off. In the past, the staff (my hairstylist and front receptionist) have been wonderful in accommodating me in turning the music down whenever I'm there. They tried their best to do that today as well (kudos to them!), but their speaker system was a bit off today, which I totally understand. However, in the hopes of not setting my ear off, I spoke with the owner Heidi, explaining my situation, and I asked if she didn't mind turning the music off for the remainder of the appointment since I was at the tail end of my appointment. Heidi explained that "that's just the speaker system...that's how it works." She then told me "Yes, I do mind your request...I really do mind it." It was not only what she said, it was also the way she said it...it was rude and condescending. Again, this complaint is only about one of the owners of the salon. The staff that I have encountered, along with my stylist, have been amazing and accommodating, but I write this in the hopes that no one ever experience what I experienced with Heidi. No customer deserves that. I hope that in moving forward, as an owner and manager of your business, that there will be room for compassion and understanding for anyone who enters your salon with any physical or medical ailment, whether it be visible to the naked eye or not. A request is always made for a reason.

Desirae is truly a hair magician! I have been going to her for blonde highlights and extensions for the past 9 years, and I am always blown away by the results. Been getting my hair done here but today really put them at 10 stars. It was my almost 3 year old’s first time to get hair cut. She just needed a simple trim and the stylist took great care of her. Mom apparently had more anxiety then babe did. The stylist (I’m so sorry if you see this post your name!) was so great and patient with her. She washed her hair, cut her hair and blow dried her hair. Little girl started flaunting her new hair cut immediately.

I've been having Brittany at Ten Dash One cut my hair for years. Recently I wanted to change my haircut to a very short style and got 3 bad haircuts in a row. As good as she has been with my longer styles, seemingly this wasn't going to work. I considered going to the owner, Heidi to try to get a prettier short haircut, then looked at Lupe's pictures and thought she might be fine, but ultimately went back to setting up my appointment with Heidi because I figured that she , as the owner would be the most likely to do well with figuring out a feminine short cut. When I called to set up the day, I was told that Leslie would need to call me back regarding my appointment. A short time later Leslie told me that Brittany, Heidi and Lupe had had a meeting and decided (For Me) that Brittany was the best bet and that they couldn't do better than her. How would they know this? Why would they not see if their style would suit my taste more? Why can't I make my own decisions? I have no idea. I asked Leslie to let me know who else I could have do the cut and she said she'd check and call me right back. She didn't call back. So here I've been going to the same place for about 7 years, have had Brittany cut my hair for maybe 4 years, and I am not allowed to change to find someone who suits me better. Let alone what an awkward position to put a client into , going back to Brittany when she not only was told of my interest to make the change but was part of the group to decide I couldn't go to anyone else! Very strange place. If you go there, you better love forever who cuts your hair or you will be blacklisted if after a few years, you want to change, and waiver a bit in your decision. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Emma is amazing! Unfortunately, I was only in Ventura for 8 months and am so sad that I’m leaving her. I have naturally dark brown hair and started transitioning to blonde before I got here. I was so nervous to find someone that would be able to handle my difficult hair being so dark and wanting to be so light blonde. She gave me everything I wanted and kept my bright blonde looking great for Cali! Definitely recommend Emma!

Last week I got my hair done by Emma. The treatment I received from the moment I walked in the door till I left was 5-star! The gal at the front desk was kind , knowledgeable, and sweet. Emma was so professional, so fun, and gave me the hair I’ve been wanting for 5+ years! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable. I’m a new mom and had brought my sister to help with the baby and Emma even let me hold my baby in the salon chair when she got upset. She listened to me when I was telling her about my postpartum hair fall out, and we had such fun conversations. I could not have asked for a better experience, and will be returning to Emma as a client for life! I left Emma’s chair feeling confident, relaxed, happy, and heard! If you need your hair done, book with Emma!

Didn't see my usual girl. And was oddly charged waaay more for less. Last time I was charged less than 200 for full highlights. This time I was charged 215 for partial highlights and I guess toner? I didn't ask for toner. But I thought it was kind of a part of getting bleached. I got toned last time too but wasn't charged 60 dollars for it. This girl was really ROUGH on my head too. To the point I almost said something. My hair was being ripped out. My hair turned out well. which is why I didn't fight the price too much but after this experience I think I am going to find another salon.

Katy Jean is amazing! She is super sweet. She listens to my thoughts and gives suggestions based on my coloring or face structure. They always have something for you to drink, which is a very nice touch. The studio is clean, bright, and well kept together. Anyone you come in contact with is so nice, friendly and helpful.

This is a full service salon with many stylists to choose from. I have worked with both Denice and Lupita. I am pleased with the hair color and the cuts they have both provided me with. They are good at their craft. This salon also has a cute selection of retail to browse through.

NOT WELCOMING at all, I went to try to get a hair color done but they were not nice I left and do not plan on going back. Read good reviews online but sadly my experience was not a good one. Do not recommend.
