Prices are good, staff is nice but for me the atmosphere is not it. They try to make it relaxing but all I could hear what was going on in the spa and in the mall. The people passing by you could hear. The people within the spa talking I thought you could hear. It just didn’t make for a relaxing experience. If you’re looking for a quick stop, well priced Service not a bad spot to be. Just not for me.

Massage is better and any spa out there. Clean, price is good. The owner and also massage therapist rushes you around. Multitasking: giving massage and answering her phone for other clients. I come to relax and heal first of all and I pay for that and I don’t mind paying well when service is good. She massaged me and then stepped out to answer questions off somebody came in. I so didn’t what her to touch my body and the phone and back to my body at the same time. When I was leaving she was already massaging someone else, then she came out to take my payment, then she is back to a client. For clients sake please put someone for front desk for phone and scheduling duties. She does have great massage techniques, reflexology was amazing but with all that hustle I could not leave good tip. And showed how upset she was. Excuse me, lady, please understand you just don’t do it that way when working with someone’s body.

Update: after the first visit described below and what led to 3 stars I have since been many times and am very pleased with the service, professionalism and care I receive! Everything was decent overall except that the girl was clearly on her phone binge watching her show while I was being massaged 🤨 otherwise good overall.

Grace is the wonderful woman that gives the best massages ever. She takes her time and does a absolute fantastic job. She works so hard after she’s done. I have to give her a bigger tip because I could clearly see how hard she’s working. I recommend this place

There is a wonderful employee at this establishment by the name of Grace. She is absolutely spectacular. She is a real masseuse. She is a 10 out of 10 and this massage establishment is very very blessed to have such a wonderful woman and employee. I recommend anybody coming to this place to ask for Grace and if you have To work with her schedule, it will certainly be worth the wait. I give this place five stars. If there was 10 stars they would get 10 the pricing is very fair and the establishment is very clean and comforting. Looking forward to my Next visit.

This spa gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The staff are accommodating, kind, and professional and the space is very relaxing and clean. I would 100% come back!!

Been going here for about a year. I have there phone number and text them or call a few days in advance to see when is a good time to come in. They always try to fit you in, just contact them asap for the weekend if that is your only availability because they are busy! If you want a pressure point, feel better massage this is the place to go. These ladies all of them know what they are doing and your pain whether you knew you had it or not will be relieved. If you say hard pressure though be aware they ain't messing around. I've brought friends here and many of them have come back without me with them because they are so good! I forget about their foot reflexology but those are fantastic too!

A very nice place, the decor is so conducive for massages and relaxation. The massage and foot reflexology was excellent! Enjoyable music, scents and the therapists worked hard and always kept hands on me. Better than most of my other experiences.

Do not be turned off by the exterior or the location! I’ve had lots of massages at very high-end spas and can honestly say I get better massages at Tao. If you want the experience of a posh spa with luxury sheets and all the extras, this isn’t your place. But if you need a last minute, therapeutic massage at an affordable price, I highly recommend.

Great deep massages! I Wish they had some loyalty points that add up for frequent customers. Or offer monthly spa packages. I would recommend them for a quick tension relief especially in the shoulders but wish they offered a package of monthly incentives for frequent customers since they raised the price. .

Greatest massage place I have ever gone to! The host instantly treated us nicely and offered us water. Everyone there was super nice. The massage itself included many different services in one. Best buck for your money for sure! Totally recommend

I had CiCi (spelling) and she was amazing ❤️. I have never had a professional massage before and she was so sweet. I had a terrible pain in my neck for over a month and she literally took it away after one visit. I will definitely be back. 🙌❤️

I'm still in LALA LAND after the FANTASTIC massage I got from Lucy a few hours ago. First time there. My friend told me about this place some time ago and has been going regularly. I stopped by once but was turned off because although the sign says walk-ins welcome, after waiting a few someone told me I have to call for an appt. Friend mentioned them again recently and I've been meaning to go, needing to go, but hadn't... Until waking up today with a jacked up shoulder/neck/shoulder blade where I couldn't drive to a party 3 hours away. I waited until they opened then called for an appt, took what they had, cancelled plans. SO freaking glad I did!!! Wow wow WOW! Lucy was AMAZING!!!! It felt so wonderfully long, she covered so many areas, did things I always wished massage therapists or masseuses would do (e.g., rub up and down my spine), and I believe she gave me a full hour. [I didn't see the clock when she started, but it was 5 after when I was dressing and no wait at the start]. If all of the masseuses there are like her, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go again, and to take my sister when she visits. I've already told a few of my neighbors about it. It was worth the $72 for an awesome, beneficial, and healing hour long deep tissue massage. No tip pressure or anything like others have mentioned (I tipped over 20% so maybe that's why?). Be prepared to be ok with your drawers being pulled down and you being straddled, but if you have back issues and neck issues etc. like me, you will swallow the surprise, just sit back, and welcome the comfort and help it brings hitting things at that angle. Nothing is inappropriate, just me from 20-30 years ago wouldn't be comfortable with that so I wanna warn. lol 🤪 Tao Massage is a hidden GEM, and I look fwd to being a long time customer.

On holiday in Florida to see friends and needed a massage. This is not a spa! They are great at one thing, massage/bodywork not those swedish rubs you get at expensive, overpriced spas. They focus on your problem area and do a mix of deep tissue, shiatsu, thai and cranial sacral. I get massages monthly and its one of the best bodywork I've had in the United States. Definitely recommended A+!

One of the best massages I have ever had. Most massages that say deep tissue seem more like a relaxing massage to me. I got a deep tissue from Sophia and she did a great job the entire time with the right amount of pressure. I will definitely be back.

The best massage I have ever had!! My daughter and I had a therapeutic massage and a foot massage. It was amazing!! So relaxing and not rushed like other places. Great value!! I totally recommend!!!

We have been coming to Tao Massage Spa for about a year now...The BEST massage I have experienced thus far! Would not choose any other place in the bay area! Just Wonderful, never been disappointed. Excellent!
