I highly recommend Diane. Professionally, she is knowledgeable, skilled, able to explain procedures in easy to understand terms, and provides a high quality service with high quality products. Personally, Diane put me completely at ease, was warm, authentic, down-to-earth, and kind, while also presenting as confident and passionate about her work. I came to her feeling very nervous from a bad experience at a high volume day spa. I thought I would never get a facial again. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable, but I got the sense it wasn’t above and beyond for her, it was simply who she is as a person. Her space is immaculate, beautiful, inviting and soothing. Her service is so personalized, I can’t imagine going to a high volume place again. It is a judgment-free, encouraging environment that lifted my spirits, relaxation and confidence with my skin.

Diane is amazing! I have been going to her to have my brows done for over a year now and they have never looked better. Each visit she spent the time to shape them and allow areas that needed to be filled in to grow and now they look flawless! I then decided to book my very first facial with her! She was informative, gentle and left my skin feeling amazing! She makes her own products which gives such peace of mind that they are clean and 100% all natural! Her whipped nectar balm is my absolute favorite and now cannot go through my days/nights without it! I highly recommend Diane and her services!

Diane is so knowledgeable and masterful at her craft. She knows exactly what to recommend and provides a nourishing experience for her in-person offerings, whether it’s a facial or a brow tint. Her products are also AMAZING. My skin has never looked better. Before using her products, I had regular outbreaks and dry skin, and now my skin feels hydrated and clear. So grateful to have her in the area and highly recommend Take Time Out for Beauty!

I discovered this place because a friend gifted me a one hour facial for my birthday. What A Treat! I've had at least 20 facials in my life, and this was certainly the best one. It was a comfortable and luxurious experience, extremely relaxing, and educational too. Diane is so thoughtful and friendly, and she takes time to educate you on skin health and to make routine recommendations. She taught me a lot of stuff I didn't know - easy things I can start doing at home to improve my skin. Another cool thing about Diane is she makes her own skin care products, and they're fantastic. I absolutely loved my experience, and I can't wait to return. Will be a regular moving forward. Thank you, Diane!

Just began purchasing products from take time out for beauty. They are natural and perfect for all skin types especially sensitive skin. I especially love how the dream skin concentrate has been nourishing my skin with the current winter weather.

Diane has been doing my brows and facials for about four years now and I won’t let anyone touch my skin, or brows ever again. My skin has never looked this good in my life AND people never believe me when I tell them my age, because of my skin. ;) Her wholistic approach is done with the utmost care and nourishment. To add the icing on the cake, she makes the majority of her skincare products by hand. She IS the one you’ve been waiting for! Thank you, Diane!

Diane/Take Time Out for Beauty is a local treasure. I have been getting facials from her for years and her treatment space in Arlington/Poughkeepsie bumps up the whole experience a few notches. Diane is incredibly knowledgeable about skin, herbalism and how the two relate to each other. Her techniques are well researched and she can explain the theory and practice behind what she does. Additionally, her facials just feel great. I leave her space feeling extremely relaxed and I wish I could get her facials all the time. Highly recommend!!

I have been looking for an esthetician to help with my inflammation and red skin utilizing a holistic approach. Diane was amazing and I left with my skin feeling and looking great. I also did a last minute eye brow shape and I left there feeling amazing.

I’ve been getting facials for many years and have never come across a technique quite like this before. Diane’s hands on facials, and I literally mean hands on, are amazing. Before she started my facial, she evaluated my skin and took the time to have a conversation with me about my skin care regimen, any concerns and what I wanted to accomplish. She evaluated my skin and then suggested my facial treatment. When she was done, my face was toner and I felt rejuvenated. I highly recommend giving her a try.
