Giving a huge shoutout to Melissa and Shianne for taking care of my elderly mom today. I was unable to go with her then her favorite stylist the fabulous Patricia was out sick. Shianne was conversational and helpful regarding my moms accommodations Melissa was able to keep my mom, go slow with the cut, and make sure she left feeling as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Melissa kept in touch with me, was professional, understanding, and kind. Thank you ❣️

It took me a really long time to find a hairdresser I liked after mine left to be a stay at home mom. I found Cheyenne and I have not stopped going to her. She does an amazing job and is always so friendly. I fully trust her not to chop my hair off. I just bring a picture and know that I’m walking out with what I want. Good job and thank you so much Cheyenne.

Nice people, bad haircuts. Cut way too short, brushed out curly hair, and didnt wet it leaving it uneven.

Having been to many different barbers in the Mid-Hudson Valley, this Supercuts location has given me the best fades in the 2020s that I've had since the 2000s! I especially know because I didn't go there this time around!

Had to bring my son in for his cut. I've been bringing him for a couple years now and he's always been happy. He liked Alyssa the best so today I scheduled with her. And I decided that I was done with long hair and scheduled myself with Alyssa too. Had around 12 inches taken off and I can honestly say I will never go back to long hair again. Alyssa gave me the short, messy like, no fuss cut that I was hoping for and I am in love with it! She took the time to show me the other ways I could style it even though I will probably just wash and go. I just don't "do" hair. I couldn't be happier! We will continue to go back to see her.

All of the staff at SuperCuts Poughkeepsie are very friendly and welcoming. Alyssa took care of me the last time I was there; she was pleasant did a great job. I will go back again!

My husband and I got haircuts done this morning by Maura and Alyssa. We are so pleased with how they turned out!! They both did a great job and are so sweet! Definitely will be back and request for both Maura and Alyssa again :)

I decided to come back to Supercuts for their punctuality, it is an easy hair cut to fit into a schedule generally. This visit the stylist Alyssa really enjoyed talking her craft and I learned quite a bit to take home. It was very obvious she was in love with the work she did and she did a brilliant job of converting commoner's words into a feasible plan. She did a great job and I will be very happy to see her again for the next round.

I didn't want to leave any kind of negative review since the owner has made it very known the business is struggling, and I completely empathize with that— But I don't feel like it would be honest if I let someone else get their hair cut as sloppily as mine either. Maybe it was a fluke, the stylist said she's been working for about 30+ years or something thereabouts, but I'm pretty disappointed with my cut. The place was completely empty, yet upon entry, the two stylists there were acting like there was a major rush. The stylist was already putting me in the chair without even consulting what I wanted. After showing her a picture, I was getting a vibe that she wasn't really paying attention to the details I was giving her, and she ended up saying, "So just layers then." and had me sit back down. She told me she was going to blowdry me just enough so that my hair would be good to leave with but not styled, since that would be extra, but I ended up leaving, after a few minirants from her regarding her competitor, basically dripping out the door. When I went home, I knew the cut wasn't anything close to what I wanted. Apart from thinking that I just didn't like the way it was done, there are several pieces of hair that are actually longer or shorter than each other where they should NOT be. I have wavy long hair which is why I opted for a wash so that it'd be easier to cut, but even so, I've never had a stylist make that kind of mistake before. I don't want any kind of refund, just for extra caution and attention to detail on the next client. She also made a mildly ignorant comment, for what reason I don't know, about taking transgender clients.

Absolutely horrible place. Asked for an inch off of hair. I was a nice person and still tipped but honestly feel like I shouldn't have been charged at all or tipped. Completely messed up my fiances hair and will never be returning. The older woman here should retire if she can't handle the job.

Got a gift card for my wife recently. Paid $55.00 for a haircut, wash an blow dry. She did a good haircut, did not get a blow dry. When I bought the card blow dry included ? She has been going to this super cuts for years. Never again, will be looking elsewhere. Bye bye. Looking elsewhere👎

I walked into this location without an appointment. It was my first time going here for a hair cut. Beth cut and styled my hair. Beth brought my vision to life. She understood exactly what I wanted done and even pulled up pictures to confirm. This is one of my favorite haircuts.

It was very quick and efficient. The beautician was very courteous, respectful and attentive. I was however amazed at the difference between the cost in just having your hair blow dried or not. I think it is hard to fathom that it costs more to dry your hair than have it washed and cut/styled. I don't blame the worker at all it is just mind boggling.

READ BEFORE BOOKING: The worst experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. I asked for two inches MAXIMUM off of my hair and lost SIX (I measured) because of the stylist’s laziness. During the wash, I noticed my hair started to feel different and when she began to comb it, my hair felt very dry and kept knotting. I take good care of my hair and have never had this happen before so I didn’t know what to say before she took the scissors and just cut the knots out of my hair. I would understand if I came in for help with mats but she did not even ATTEMPT to use a brush… a BRUSH or any product at all to repair the damage from the shampoo/conditioner she used. To be clear, my hair was brushed and knot free before she touched it, and she CUT THE KNOTS OUT instead of brushing them or asking for my opinion. Knots that the stylist made. I even tipped because I felt badly for her, she was kind of nice. But as someone who went to Cosmetology School, I hope she realizes this isn’t the right profession before more people have the same experience that I did. Leaving this picture in tribute of how beautiful my hair used to be before I spent two hours crying in the car.
