After a streak of bad haircuts a friend recommended Christina to me and I'm so glad they did! It was by far the best haircut I've ever received and such a pleasant experience overall. Christina is amazing! If you are looking for a hair stylist in Gainesville, FL, look no further! I recently got a hair cut and color at the Su Lu Room and have found my new place! She listened to exactly what I was looking for and added her own expertise. Her space is very comfortable and inviting. She was also very cognizant to stay within my budget which was much appreciated!

Best. Haircuts. Ever. Christina took the time to understand my hair, hair goals, and daily routine. Her cutting process was so refreshing, as she worked with my hair’s natural shape during the dry cutting and putting the finishing touches on after washing. My hair is straight, fine, and thick, and I’ve struggled with finding a stylist who can give it body and movement without relying on heat tools. Christina has also done a fabulous job cutting my boyfriend’s hair, which is very curly, corse, and thick. It was my favorite haircut he’s ever gotten. That leads me to the one negative.. Su Lu Room is in Florida and I live in NC. I book an appointment any time I’m in the area visiting family, and the last time she was able to fit me in right before my flight out of Gainesville airport, just down the road. I walked on that plane feeling like a new person!

Christina blew me away with the quality of her services! I used to exclusively go to barbershops, but after getting a cut and style from her I won't go going anywhere else as long as I'm in Gainesville. Not only was she able to squeeze me in super last minute, she took the time to really talk to me and get to know me and my hair which is something I have not experienced before!

I can not say enough positive words about Christina Meng at Su Lu Room in Gainesville, FL. She is talented, kind, humble, hardworking, and an extraordinary person. The shop is laid back and welcoming. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost a year and consistently makes me look and feel beautiful. She uses above average products (Davines) in her salon. I am using the Davines shampoo and conditioner at home and just love how my hair shines and the great condition it keeps it in. Don't hesitate to try this salon.

I love each time I go for a haircut with Christina at Su Lu! A friend asked me a few days after I had gotten my haircut if I had my hair blown out professionally. My usual minimal effort blow dry at home made my hair look professionally blown out thanks to all the nice layers Christina had just added to my hair. Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Christina for I think over a year now and she’s been incredible every single time. She is a wonderful stylist and her salon has a great vibe. Every time I see her, she makes sure she understands what I want and takes her time to get the right color or cut. I’ve been recommending her to all my friends and family. Something like that Christina helped me transition to gray after coloring my hair for over 20 years!!!. She’s been cutting my wild massive curly gray hair for 15 years . I wouldn’t go to anybody else but her. I love the quiet space of respite that her salon provides, and I love the ease of which I can always schedule. I always feel so much better after being with her. If you’re in Gainesville in Ocalla, I can’t recommend any better salon, then Sulu.
