Stopped in for a cut while I was in town visiting family. Amazing service, great conversation, excellent location, and the best cut I've had in a long time. I appreciate the attention to detail, the relaxed vibe, and ease if scheduling. Keep up the good work as you guys finish the renovation and I wish you much success!

We were vacationing and these ladies were the only ones even willing to try to fit us (4 of us) in their schedule. I'm talking full service, color, cut, styling. I was expecting an all day ordeal but the technician was fast and kept me laughing the whole time. If you want fast, down to Earth (I'm from Georgia so we like laid back) reasonable priced quality hair then this is your place. Thank you ladies so much and truly appreciate the effort ya put forth.

The esthetician Lisa was wonderful, she listened to my skin needs & explained the services she recommended. Her knowledge made me confident in her recommendations & the services I was receiving. The facial was sooo relaxing & I definitely felt pampered, can't wait to start my microneedling sessions! Highly recommend!

West 29th Salon West 29th Salon is under new ownership - and what a great difference! I had a negative experience with this salon a couple years ago, but when I saw they were under new ownership, I decided to give them another try. I’m so glad I did! Tonya is the new manager and stylist and she’s just flat out amazing. I visited the salon for a haircut (my hair was so shaggy after two years of the pandemic). My regular stylist moved away during the pandemic, and it just felt devastating. She’d been doing my hair for literally 20 years. So I was not only looking for a haircut, but hopefully a regular stylist as well – no pressure, Tonya! I loved the haircut so much, I made an appointment for a perm. I love having curly hair. I’ve had many perms in my life, some of them pretty bad. But Tonya is like a perm *expert.* I was blown away. I have absolutely the best perm I’ve ever had. I feel so good about how I look. I feel better about myself than I have in quite a while. Suddenly, at 54 years old, I feel sexy and confident. I love having a stylist who knows what she’s doing, but also really listens to me and gives me exactly what I ask for. <EDIT: I had to add this -- Every day - really, every day - when I leave my house, I have had compliments from total strangers, telling me how beautiful my hair is. It's very flattering, for a woman of a certain age. :) /> The salon also offers everything else – for a small salon! – including nails, massage, and facials. I’m going back this week for some rainbow nails. If you are looking for a great salon, I absolutely recommend the West 29th Salon and Tonya. I’ve had services at salons that cost substantially more, and haven’t had the quality of service here. This salon is a secret treat. I’m so delighted, I’m spreading the word. I’ll definitely be back!

West 29th Salon is lovely. I was treated with such kind, intentional service and I absolutely LOVE my cut and color by Maya. She took her time to make sure I was satisfied with the services she offered. She even ran to get me a coffee from next door while my color was processing! I will definitely be back again, especially now that they offer skincare and nail services!

The worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The water temp was not good, the scrub was poor, and when I said I wanted my nails clipped she asked me if the length was okay and I had to ask that she cut more. I also asked that the water temp be corrected but it was inconsistently managed. She put shoes on me after polish, and messed up three toes. Of course she fixed them, but overall the job looked bad. When she finished she immediately said I was good to leave and I had to request if I could spend more time in the chair to dry… it had already been nearly 90 minutes at this point. She sprayed some aerosol “quick dry” on my toes which I’ve never seen at any other salon. The job was lumpy and you could actually see inconsistencies in the coats that were put on. And, less than three days later the polish peeled off multiple toes. (I just had a regular, non gel/shellac polish.) I visited for the convenience in proximity to where I live and in the future I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!...This was my 1st visit going to this Salon, to get a Mani/Pedi. The shop was running a special and also showcasing TWO New Nail Technicians ROBIN & VAL. They were professional, talented and overall a HOOT! They made my first experience memorable,fun, and I didnt feel rushed or pressured to buy other services I didnt need or want....unlike Those other shop's😉...Val took real good care of me. I will be back!!

I got my nails done (a full set) by Robin and she did an amazing job. I wanted a coffin tip and she did exactly what I asked, even suggested making the edges a little rounded so I don’t scratch my baby 😊 super friendly, did great work and was reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

My stylist retired so I read reviews and headed to West 29th Salon. My hubby also needed a cut/color. Monique did a beautiful job with highlights to brighten up my dark hair along with a lovely cut. Just right! And she worked with him to get his long, thick, curly hair cut just as he likes it. Highly recommend Monique--she works with you to give you what you want, as well as new ideas. And, the salon is offering 15% off to new clients. Highly recommend.

Robin and Val were great from West 29th Salon! Robin gave me a pedicure, I really enjoyed the massage chair and quick massage on foot and calves.🥰 Val gave my granddaughter acrylic mani. Val was very clean and meticulous she took her time and didn't rush. Val did what my granddaughter wanted. Both Robin and Val have good sense of humor and very sweet. West 29th Salon is very clean, nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back again!

I've never had my hair cut here, but as I looked into them as I scouted, there was an unbeleivable number of long time customers, completely loyal, some of the best reviews I've ever seen for one business. THEY MUST BE GOOD. 4 Stars, on reputation alone.

I had driven by here before and was always curious as to how good it was, and really needing a haircut one day, I decided to give it a try. Apparently they've been in business many years, it was comfortable inside, and it was very affordable. My stylist was very nice, experienced, and listened to what I wanted done and did it. It didn't take too long and was very reasonable priced. I was so relieved when my hair came out fine, trying someone new can be so scary. I didn't have anything else done, but it seems they also do nails, hairdos for weddings, color, treatments, etc. I feel like I should mention all this because they don't have a website, and I know I get turned off from a place if I can't find any information about them.
