I made an appointment about a week before and the style that I had chose said to send a picture of desired style to a phone number and no other directions. I was so excited because I do my own hair and I really need a break and a proper acv wash. I asked a question on the website which they said they would get back to me but they never did but I didn’t think much of it because I thought They were busy. A couple days later they text me and ask me to send a picture that the website asks for and I am feeling a bit confused so I go back to the site and look at the description for the style I chose and again it only says to send desired style in so I send it. A couple days later they text back and say no pictures of your hair which in my opinion I feel they could have just asked for it directly instead of saying “follow the instructions on my site” that I had no lucking finding. But still no big deal I send a 360 of my hair and go on with my day. So today is the day before my appointment and i have been so excited about it and I get notified that they have canceled my appointment and she tells me THE DAY BEFORE that she is not accepting any people with small locs…. Why would I be told this the day before? I understand her website says she isnt accepting MICRO LOCS but my locs are not micro they just arent big ones either. Micro locs are sister locs or smaller and my locs are like 3 times bigger than sister locs so now I am left dazed and confused because I really needed my hair done and they didn’t say on the site they aren’t accepting SMALL locs which I dont necessarily consider my locs small either but Ig that goes down to different opinions. I think it was extremely unprofessional from beginning to end from waiting days to even ask for pics of my hair, to not directly asking, and then when I do send the pic day wait days AGAIN just to tell me she wasn’t going to do them. I think that because she waited until literally the day before she could have at least offered to do them just this once and i just not be her client because that is her fault not mine to let me know the day before and her not accepting smaller locs isn’t even listed on her website.

Called two days in a row, never got a answer. The third time I had someone to answer and the stylist was rude and said all her stylist were booked up for two weeks. Didn't seem to be very professional

Taryn was a wonderful option I found on short notice. Very welcoming towards first-timers. She informed me what the interlocking method would do for my locs out of curiosity. Overall, a relaxing experience.

I cannot rave about this beautician more. I had a really horrible experience here in Nashville. I went to Taryn to establish care for my Locs. Taryn was kind, knowledgeable, available, respectful, and most of all SKILLED. My micro locs look phenomenal. I feel so beautiful. She’s a very real, hardworking, professional, peaceful woman. I cannot refer her business any higher. Another thing that sets her apart from other good locticians in Nashville is that on top of being so thorough, she has very reasonably priced services. She’s all around a very honest business person. She books very reasonably, meaning, I got my appointment with a week, and also, I was in her salon for an appropriate amount of time for the services I had. Although there are 12 chairs in the shop, she didn’t have them all filled. She is responsible with her scheduling and respects the time of her clients. It’s sad how things worked out with the other salon— but at the end of the day, I’m happy I found this diamond in rough! Ten stars and beyond for this queen and her craft. Interlocing. Microlocs. Micro locs. Dreads.

I let her pick the part and lemmie tell you she did not fail to impress. I haven’t had my hair done in about a year but she was so smooth handling my head I fell asleep in the chair. Will definitely come back! Prices were amazing considering most businesses try to charge a arm and a leg. Hers are very reasonable for what you get. I love it and feel refreshed if your looking for a hairstylist this is it.
