Good care and service. Not 5 stars bc much more expensive than expected or advertised. This was a big bummer as a mamma on a budget. It said $20 for kids cuts online. It's 30-35 base.I have three kids. I spent $130 with tip. Everything is an upcharge. They do explain this to you and are very kind and very professional about the extra charges. But you get there and think you're gonna spend $60 then walk out spending more than 2x, hard to swallow. It does add up;, girl straight cut $35, boys are $30, designs on boys is +$5, bangs for girls $6, any style $5. Th place is clean and easy to park. I think one of the staff there is in training, he was very kind and made sure we got what we wanted but it took a bit to get to the right cut. Overall a good experience, the kids were happy, but moms wallet was stretched thin.

I've never gotten a bad haircut here and that should say it all. I've been happy with every haircut.

Just walked in , looking to get haircut for the boys. Not very friendly or welcoming ..felt slightly dumb they look at you don't welcome or offer there services or tell you there's wait time or anything there 3 people here a woman which made eye contact but didn't say shit and the other guy and a younger dude . No oon3 has assisted me

Called after another salon didn’t keep my daughters appointment and the stylist was able to see her as a walk in. She was very friendly and helped my daughter get the cut and style she wanted. Thank you!

I’ve been going here for the past 20 plus years, before it changed names to “Styled West”. I usually have my hair cut by Ronnie, but when he’s not around Tanner does a great job as well. I don’t see any reason to go anywhere else. Good guys, good price, great location.

Tanner is a stand up dude for good cuts. But times I have walked in and gotten a cut from other barbers, they were comparable. Good vibes. Constantly upgrading their space.

I’d recommend the guys but the woman cut up the whole neck perhaps from not cleaning out her stuff better. The usual guy wasn’t available and had hoped she would do just as good.

I repeatedly made appointments only to be asked when I showed up if it was ok if he handled someone else first. " It would be quick" It was never "quick". He made me wait often even tho I had an appointment. The last straw was an appointment for a hair relaxer. That takes HOURS. I show up. He is just starting someone else. REALLY?? Tells me he'll be another 20 min or so. NOPE. My time is important too. Complete lack of respect and professionalism. I've been going for years. Now he's lost a loyal customer and thousands of dollars in the years that I would have continued to go. SMH.

I called asking if they took walk ins and explained that my little sister had long hair and had a Matt and we were wanted it cut off and have a short cut(depending on how short it was after the Matt was off) they qouted me a 25-30 dollar price. So we came in and they went to work. They asked if we wanted a wash and I asked how much more it’d be and they told me $5 so I agreed. After doing the whole wash and cut (an A-line bob with layers) the lady checked me out and told me it was going to be a total of $40 dollars I was confused because I was told it was supposed to be a max amount of $35 including the cut. Not only did she give me excuses as to why they raised the price she added on the extra $5 dollar charge for the wash so it was now $45 because “I reminded her of it” I pay. Take her home and dry it because they didn’t even bother to do that, and the little layers they do have is choppy and it’s not even an A- line. It’s uneven as hell. Please save your self the time and money and go to a REAL place that will actually do their job.

I discovered Styled West through a friend and, being pressed for time, decided to give it a try. From the moment I walked in, Tanner's professionalism and efficiency stood out. The friendly atmosphere immersed me in the Ventura culture, complemented by two TVs providing a captivating view of the pier, downtown, and the famous cross from a drone's perspective. The affordable price and overall experience make it highly likely that I'll make this my go-to place. By the way, I love the name, Styled West.

Haircuts are good. Price is too high. Haircuts for kids are $20 dollars and an additional $5 dollars for a design. There was no style or gel.

I called to see if they take walk ins and they said yes. Went in a couple minutes after calling them and was told they had 2 appointments in about 30 minutes. So I'm sure he had time to cut my hair. He wasn't busy when I walked in and had no other customer. I was told to come back later if I wanted a haircut but it seemed like the guy working didn't want to cut my hair because I am a female. I do not recommend this place.

I just started using Ronnie at Styled West where my fiancé has happily been going for a decade. Ronnie can take on the arduous task of bleaching and trimming my hair just as well as he has taken care of my fiancés short hair cuts for years. He not only does excellent work, he is so professional and very personable, he makes you feel at ease and right at home. I’ve been so happy and after seeing my hair, my sister and mother are his new clients also! I’m also impressed with the rest of his staff who show their passion and talent every time I’m there. 👍
