Ana Maria squeezed me in yesterday morning, last minute, for a wash, trim, and dry. I don't know why I waited so long to tend to my hair. It was in desperate need as you can see by the before photos. Nice to have it looking decent again. Plus Anna Maria had product that was very gentle. I'm very sensitive to most all product. Had no problem at all with what she used. She told me everything is organic. I've put a reminder in my calendar at 6 weeks to get back in to see her. So things don't get so out of control again. With my hair.

Niurka was absolutely amazing I recommend her so much! She literally revived my broken incredibly damaged hair! She did a haircut and a Cezanne keratin treatment and I cannot believe how great the results turned out to be! Highly recommend! Love you Niruka!!!

I have been going to Rayna for my haircuts for several years. She has cut and styled my hair from a ‘bob’ to a ‘pixie’ to a ‘lob’ in addition to dying my hair. There is no one else I trust to give me honest opinions on my hair and to set realistic expectations for my hair type. My last visit she suggested beveled bangs with my bob…and I am in love with my hairstyle! I have received so many compliments. There is no one else I trust with my hair! Rayna is an amazing Master Stylist!

I highly recommend choosing Rayna as your hair stylist! I’ve been coming to her for three years consistently and she does beautiful work! I ask for full highlights with face framing layer haircuts and she’s always consistent with it. She always has great hospitality and is extremely kind.

I started going to Rayna since 2015 and have been going back to her everytime for my hairstyles! She is an amazing person inside and out and I haven't had any complaints about her! Whenever I have ideas on my haircuts and haircolors she is always honest if it will look good or will not look good! She is very creative in her own way and always have ideas or suggestions on what would make you look fabulous! I always leave the salon feeling beautiful! I highly recommend her to everyone and supports her business because she is very good and an expert as a hairstylist ;-)

I was recommended to Rayna from a friend who says she regularly uses her as her stylist. I’m 75 and pride myself on keeping up with trends and styles. I needed a new look and style so Rayna and I sat down and discussed what would complement my face and also my need to keep my hair long. We decided a soft pink balayage would perk up my natural white hair and OMG she was right!! I loved it, the color was perfect not candy cane pink and the cute cut really changed how easily I was able to manage my hair. My Mother has been going to Rayna for YEARS and brought me to her about a year ago. I used to hate getting my hair cut and now there’s nothing more different from the truth. ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** Niurka always does an amazing job on highlights, lightening the hair, cutting and styling. If I’m not sure exactly how I want my hair colored, cut, or styled, I just give her carte blanche and trust her to do what she thinks would look best and have always been so impressed with her skills and the results she is able to achieve. When it comes to highlighting and lightening hair, I can show her a picture or ask her for a specific shade of blonde or highlights and she always achieves the perfect shade. The blonde is never brassy or mismatched, no matter how dark my roots. The last time she did my color, I showed her a picture of a very light shade of blonde and she expertly colored and toned my hair to the exact shade I wanted and was able to make my root regrowth completely even with the rest of my hair. For every haircut, she carefully considers every aspect, from face shape, texture, and color to ease of styling to advise on the perfect style. The quality of her work is 10/10 and on par with even the most expensive stylists out there - for a fraction of the cost. From my experience before it is very difficult to find somebody who know how to cut short hair. I love the way Liila listen and understand what you looking for ,before she started. Nikki has been taking care of my hair for nearly five years. I receive numerous compliments on my hair daily - color and style - and have had many requests for Nikki’s contact information. Nikki listens, asks questions, and then gives me exactly what I wanted, but a bit better! Added bonus - she is conservative with cutting length and always double & triple checks to be sure she understands what you want. I have had many different hair styles and colors, including keratin treatments, highlights, balayage, ombré, etc., and Nikki never misses!

I had a great experience at salon V with Niurka. She did my highlights and colored my hair a beautiful blonde. I have lighter hair but wanted some low lights and different shades added. I am very pleased with how it looks.

Nikki is such a gem. So kind and works hard to get you what you ask for. I used to be platinum blonde (like straight silver) and loved that hair, but at the beginning of the year my hair dresser was booked and I went to someone else. I ended up turning into a cool blonde but it wasn't really what I wanted. I was nervous to try another hair stylist but really wanted to go back to platinum. I read the reviews for Studio V and Nikki got me in for a consultation so fast! I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she immediately got to working on my hair. She totally nailed it and stayed extra long to make sure it was done right (I also have a ton of hair so it took longer than expected). She was helpful in recommending aftercare for my bleached hair and I'll be going back to her for a trim soon. Awesome job Nikki!!!

I had a great experience with Nickie! (Niurka) I got blue colored highlights, black color all over, and a haircut. My hair felt so soft and healthy even after the coloring. Also the blue looked super cool, it had a lot of depth to it. She was a sweetheart and did great work! 10/10 recommend, thank you nickie

Nikki did AMAZING on my hair! I haven’t had my hair dyed in almost 3 years and the transformation was awesome! I have dark thick brown hair and she was able to give me a beautiful brunette to gray baylage style! Turned out better than the Pinterest pictures! Also realized I was logged in on my husbands account when posting this if the name throws anyone off haha

Have you ever walked into a salon with a picture and asked for a cut and or color to match the photo you’ve brought in? Usually it’s been my experience that I NEVER get exactly what I asked for until I met Heidi! She is so talented and well seasoned. She will ask specific questions and not leave things for the imagination or what she thinks would look good but rather delivers want is requested. Balayage can also be really expensive! The prices at this lovely salon are extremely reasonable, after all this is La Jolla!

Heidi is amazing. I just relocated here from Hawaii and have to get my grey hair colored about every month. She was able to not only perfectly match my color from my previous stylist on our first visit, she corrected some of the root coloring and improved it with highlights ( not easy because my hair easily turns brassy). She was also able to give me a haircut that upgraded my "Island look" and I am able to walk out the door looking well groomed and professional with minimal styling. She was also able to recommend great products to use on my hair that make it work. A true master stylist!

I went to Rayna with dull hair overdue for a cut and color. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, so she spent the time to chat with me and figure out what would make me happy. I ended up getting a demi color and a haircut with layers for $99 special, and the result was well done. Rayna is nice company yet doesn't talk your ear off. They take walk ins too, also have a male barber and a nail tech. Note that this salon is technically in La Jolla Crossroads apartment community, so you park in a guest spot in their garage, which can be challenging to find at certain times.
