Terrible experience ‼️ I showed her a picture of what style I wanted and got a horrible mess. Long hairs left uncut, sides not even, and parted on the wrong side. Got a free nail polish where she cut my nails too short. Will not be going back.

I almost never leave reviews but this was such a horrific experience that I had to write this. It has taken me 2 days to process what happened and watch my nails go from bad to worse. Back story: whenever I come to Corning to visit family, my grandmother and I like to spend time together and get our nails done. She has later stage Parkinson’s disease and struggles to walk at times, sometimes shakes, and can’t speak very loud. But staying stylish and remaining active is really important to her. We’ve been to several other nail salons in Corning and have had positive experiences overall with gel manicure and pedicure. So we were able to get appointments at Studio 2 for two gel manicure/pedicures. Almost immediately after sitting in the massage chair for pedicures, the woman working on my grandmother started pointing and laughing at her feet shaking. She did this every 5 seconds and made it very clear she was not happy to do her nails because of the shaking. I suggested that she turn off the massage chair since that was physically shaking her, once she did that, she stopped shaking and then woman continued. Throughout the entire time she only spoke to me and ignored my grandmother. She asked me how old she was and my grandmother interrupted and said “39”, making it clear that she can speak for herself and to be funny. She insisted that my grandmother could not get gel manicure because of the shaking but I told her we had done this before multiple times and it was fine. Throughout her gel pedicure, she yelled at my grandmother, hit her leg and feet and screamed “stop shaking!” constantly. While doing her fingernails, she turned to me and said “is she slow?” while motioning to her head. This was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced I don’t even have words. In the moment I was mortified, furious, and sad. I immediately said no and made it very clear that she can speak for herself. My grandmother then started to speak softly and said she has Parkinson’s. You would have thought that would make the woman feel horrible, but no, she continued with the pointing, laughing, and rude comments. Regarding my nails, a separate woman did my nails. She was quiet and awkwardly laughed when the other woman made rude comments and gestures. However, she cut my cuticle so deep that blood got everywhere on my left ring finger. Since then, it has gotten infected despite applying ointments and bandaids repeatedly other the weekend. Separately, I started to feel pain in my right middle finger later that night. I applied ointment as well but over the past 48 hours my middle finger has swelled, and the pain has spread to my knuckle (pic below). I will be going to urgent care tomorrow to get treated because the pain is so bad. This place is disgusting and I can’t believe what we experienced. But I would rather have had every nail get infected than have my grandmother disrespected repeatedly.

Nice People , Bad Service. I was trying to find a place that was available on short notice with prom being Saturday , spent days picking what i want to get done and then I get told i had to choose something different, i found 4 different ideas and by then i had given up and picked something completely different than what i wanted, which i understand if you can’t do the design but it was simply just some curved lines.. i was told it would take to much time and i’m being complicated because i didn’t want my nails too long but still wanted a small coffin shape. Needless to say it looks like i have bubbles on my nails & it was definitely NOT worth the 70 dollars. definitely would recommend going someone else for your nails.

Prices were way over the price quoted to me. Nails were not anywhere near what I asked for. Staff did not want to do pink powder like I asked because it would take too long. Mans haircut was not anywhere near what asked for nor was he satisfied with it afterwards. 30$ more than what it should have been and woman kept change for her tip without being told to keep it for tip. Will never be returning to this salon.

I had a pedicure with a group of 3 friends. It was a great experience. It took a bit longer than I had anticipated but, overall it was lovely. Great prices!

I had an amazing experience here getting pedicures for 5! I am visiting from out of town and was looking for a place to get 5 pedicures at the same time. I called to make an appointment and was given a 9am time for all 5 pedicures. We arrived at 9 for our appointments and realized the owner had scheduled us prior to opening hours which was much appreciated since we were hoping for an early time! Upon entering we were greeted and offered muffins and wine. The muffins were delicious and a great way to get the morning started. The owner got us all seated in pedicure chairs with perfectly warm water for our feet. While sitting she even offered us coffee and made my mom and I delicious coffee to enjoy while getting our pedicures! The owner and her coworker gave us all beautiful pedicures in a timely fashion. I was amazed at how efficient they were without feeling like they were rushing. I highly recommend getting pedicures at Studio Two. I really felt like the owner went the extra mile to make our occasion an extra special one!

I have really thick, unmanageable hair and went here for a haircut. I'm shocked at how great of a job they did! Didn't think it was possible to get my hair like this, awesome job of layering and I'll definitely go back for my next haircut!!

Please if you take time to read reviews this will save you from experiencing what I have had to deal with. I went to Studio 2 to get a balayage, hair trim, and a gel manicure. The lady was very nice and said she knew exactly what I wanted when I showed her the picture. Everything seemed to be going very well until I saw the end results. She insisted that my hair was damaged, but my hair has never been dyed or heated. She continued to make excuses on her mistake. The end results were horrific. My hair had orange blobs where she attempted to bleach it and green ash colors on the end. She was rushing to try and fix the obvious mistakes that she made. I asked for my money back or at least half, she refused to do so. Now I have had to get about $200 more work done at a different salon to fix her mistakes. I am very saddened and disappointed in this place!

The owner is amazing. She personally serves her clients and not only does what you ask for but caters to your physical health and we'll being. She's so attenative and caring you can't help but call her "Ma"🤗😘 She's the most amazing manicure and pedicure person I've ever been to and I've been to alot. This isn't meant to make you want to go in her shop, but you should. this is what I truly believe. Thanks for being you "Ma".

I’m not sure who the lady was that was doing my nails but I simply asked how much it would cost to FILL my nails as she was doing them and she thought for a second and said $54! I looked at her and in a nice way I said “that is outrageous!” I had my nails done for $50 at nail tech not just a fill, I needed a fill and had one nail missing. I then just said “it’s fine I will pay for them, then I will not come back.” She then started to yell at me, and as she continued to raise her voice, I then told her not to yell at me and walked out. I have been getting my nails done for YEARS and have never experienced anything like that. Would not recommend this what so ever. Go to nail tech instead.

She is very professional. She is the owner as well. The place is very clean and huge and treat you really well!! She does really great job! You can tell this is her passion and she loves what she's doing!! I will never ever go somewhere else. I noticed though that she's doing everything by herself. If I'm the owner of this place I will hire several people. She'll make more money if she hire more people to service a lot of customers at the same time. Instead of her doing it by herself and do 1 customer at a time knowing this place is a complete package from head to toe.

I got a lovely gel French manicure for $35 yesterday! As a walk in, I was immediately greeted and taken care of. The ladies were very friendly and great conversationalists. They work hard and diligently to give you their best. I got exactly what I was looking for and will happily be back soon!

I will never go back to this place. I went for a mani pedi hair cut and color. 5 hours later... my hair is orange. I wanted the back of my hair stacked and it's all chopped up and a 5 year old could have done a better job oh and it cost $200. I should turn her into the better bussiness burio . And she said it wasn't her fault my hair turned orange. Because she doesn't know my hair?????
