Really disappointed with the service I received from Veronica for my red hair. I went in for roots and a cut. As explained to me by a friend, I got “hot roots” (brassy), went under the dryer when I didn’t need to, and then she redid my roots again, didn’t need to go under the dryer again - I realized after the fact, and I left with a color I can live with for a couple of months, however I wish I got a discount for the incorrect color the first time, and also wish it had been styled anyways but she needed to attend to her next client so even though it was okay, I wish she had spent another 10 mins giving me the courtesy of a blowout after the mistake. And now I have a really itchy scalp and need to spend more money on a scalp treatment. I will say the prices were fair but I didn’t see an additional discount or anything for the bad color match on my roots. I’d consider going back to her but because I’m not happy with the haircut either, I’m going to get a new stylist.

Busy holiday weekend before Christmas. I need a cut and walked in. They were very busy but I happened at the right time they had an availability in 15 mins. for a walk-in. Victoria I believe was my hairdressers name. She was wonderful as everyone was actually. Everyone was so nice, polite and accommodating. I will do be back next time I need a cut. Thank you so much. Fantastic job!.. 👏

Poor communication not happy at all. Price was not accurate and different services were not communicated . Had to go home with wet hair and now I see my hair is black and my hair is dark brown ,so I got the wrong color too. Super frustrating

Visiting Studio Taylor on Fairmount was a complete letdown. Their prices were unreasonably high, and what's worse, they didn't provide any estimate before starting ($200+ to be exact for a medium length cut and color)! They went ahead with services without properly discussing them with me, and unfortunately, they didn't deliver what I asked for. I left with a haircut that was a mere trim, not the shaping I originally asked for by any means, and a disappointing dye job. It’s now been almost two weeks later and the color has already faded significantly. Not worth the money by any means. If I am paying over $200 I expect to leave with hair I feel confident in and something I WANTED. Don't waste your money here, I won’t be returning.

I asked for a bob hairstyle, and there was a girl who didn't even know how to do a haircut! She just simply cut the half of my hair and blow-dried it and rolled it inside! after I arrived home and took a shower, I noticed there were some parts longer and some parts shorter, and back of my hair was awful all my colleagues and friends were laughing at it! It was terrible! I called them and they told me to go there again with the same hairdresser to fix my hair( they didn't even apologize for that) but the way she cut my hair I'm completely sure she didn't even know the basics of haircuts! I couldn't trust her and I will never ever go to this place again, and I'm not recommending it if you wanna do a short haircut!

I haven't been in awhile, however there was a young girl who used to do my pedicures. She was the sweetest, fun conversations, and mentioned that I had a mole on my toe that I should get checked out. I don't remember her name I wish I did and I wonder if she's still there. This was back in 2014. My pedicures always turned out nice and I also got a wax here. The lady was so professional and made sure I was comfortable.

Sammy is great! She always does a nice job and this particular visit allowed me to skip the cut and just do a touch-up color with blow dry. Very reasonably priced.

I took my daughter to Studio Taylor to get balayage done on her medium-brown hair (see BEFORE pic). My daughter showed the stylist two pictures of what she wanted: dirty blonde hair with varying degrees of blonde highlights that darkened as they led to her natural color at the roots (this is the whole point of balayage; see middle pic). Neither of her example pictures showed solid, bleached WHITE blond hair. But that is what my daughter got (see AFTER pic; her hair looks longer because it was straightened). We went to a salon because we expected professional results. My daughter's hair looked like it had been dipped in bleach. No highlights, no color variation. Just tacky, white-blond hair with dark roots. The next day, we called the salon and spoke with Nancy, the owner, who informed us that we needed to come to the salon so the SAME stylist could fix the problem. Normally I might be OK with this approach, but this mistake was so bad---and my daughter was so upset---that I didn't trust the same stylist to be capable of making it better. I politely asked for our money back, the owner refused. So what could have been a wonderful experience for my daughter has turned into an expensive nightmare.

Had a personal conversation with the owner, Nancee. I have never met someone so unprofessional, so entitled, and so ignorant. I would never do business or associate myself with someone like her. Be ware of Nancee, she is a wolf in sheep’s clothing !!!!!!!

I owe this salon much more than a nice review. Their staff and stylists saved the day as I came in last minute with a hair emergency the weekend of my brother’s wedding. All the staff and stylists were helpful and accommodating and saved my hair from a disaster!

I received the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Not only did they get me in same day, but the service quality was outstanding. I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know the woman’s name who did my pedicure, BUT her attention to detail was very appreciated & didn’t go unnoticed. I will absolutely return. Note that there is a 3% charge on credit cards (which I think should be told to the customer when booking an appointment). I also think the salon should carry more neutral nail colors, but that’s my personal opinion. Neither of these things would keep me from returning.

Emily did an amazing job on my eyebrows. I got my brow wax and hair treatment done here. Kalpana (I hope I spelled the name right), did the fusio dose treatment on my hair. My hair feels amazing after that. Friendly staff, good ambience and easy to make appointments. Would visit again!! Highly recommend👍🏻👍🏻

I haven't been to Studio Taylor before, but my sister-in-law gave me the highest recommendation, so happily followed her lead. Sammy was my stylist + was amazing! I. She gave me the best color / highlights + great cut that I totally love. I will go certainly go back.
