I entrust my hair totally to the hair genius , Kristen Marquette of Studio KTM. She has always made me feel pampered and cared for in her serene and welcoming salon. I am usually the sole guest and have her full attention. Before I had Kristen doing my hair, I wasn't that thrilled about keeping up my color or trims. Now, when I am taking a look in the mirror at the fresh look she has given me and ready to step brightly out into the world, I never leave her salon without my next appointment. Bonus: Organic Ammonia free hair color is safe for me and her.

Ever since I moved from Austin, Texas to Rhinebeck, New York, I have been getting my haircut at Studio KTM by Kristen. I had an excellent and expensive haircutter in Austin, but Kristen is the best I’ve ever had and costs less. She listens well to what I want, but she’s forthright about commenting if she thinks something I’m suggesting won’t really work for me. The haircut I have now I adore and it’s more her suggestions than mine. In addition to being a wonderful haircutter, she’s warm, very easy to talk to, and funny. I could not ask for more and some when I go to every four weeks.

I love this Salon! I am a red head- and very fussy about highlights/cuts etc. I always walk out looking and feeling like a million bucks! Ps - I am scent /product sensitive and I have no reactions to anything here due to the organic nature of the products she uses.

Jake is an absolute gem! Great colorist and perfect cuts. He even cut my daughters’ hair. My 4 year old was terrified to get a cut and he made it so fun. She still gets compliments 6 months later.

Jake is the BEST! I'll follow him anywhere but thankfully he works out of this salon, close to my house. If you want high quality, long lasting color and an amazing cut that grows out properly, Jake is your guy! His pricing is more than reasonable and you'll LOVE your hair and all of the compliments you'll be getting, too!

Great all around experience. Kristen excels both in her professional abilities to color and style, and her focus on the client. I have been going to Studio KTM for about 18months for color, styling and keratin and my hair look great. The Salon is very airy and well designed with attention to details and a very relaxing atmosphere.

I am new to the Hudson Valley. I found Studio KTM Hair Salon through its good online reviews. Kristin proved to be an amazing hair stylist. I got the best color and cut that I have had in a decade. The salon ambience was great, products used outstanding, and conversation enjoyable. I will definitely be a "regular."

Jake Dingler cuts and colors my hair as well as my daughters’ hair. He does a great job and is a lot of fun. He even made a house call for me when I couldn’t get out! He fixed my bad highlights and covered my gray so my hair looks natural and healthy. Highly recommend!

Jake is a true gem and very gifted stylist - hands down the best highlights and cut I've ever had (including in the twenty years I got my hair done in NYC salons). He also did haircuts for my tween daughters that look amazing. He's a joy to hang out with and will truly make you look your best. It's a total treat to be able to get this type of quality upstate!

This is the worst hair salon I have been to in my entire life. They had a creature cutting my hair who claimed to be the darling of big shots in Manhattan — what a con man. The hair cut he did on me was HORRENDOUS and he charged me $100 for it. $100 in tiny Red Hook ( when the rate in this area is between $25 to $35)!!! When I requested to have my hair re-done, they refused to have me back. I have been to hair salons all over the world and in a whole lot of different states and I never got such bad service and worse hair cut in my life for such an outrageous price.

Studio KTM is a special place. Kristen is very sweet and knowledgeable, she really listens to what you want and is a pro at delivering a cut and color that suits the shape of your face and your lifestyle. The salon is special too, very clean and airy with big windows. Since Kristen is the only stylist you get lots of unhurried personal care.
