Horrible experience! I went in for a tone bc I had gone to someone the day before and they did a bleach wash on my already blonde hair, so I had brassy roots. I showed Ashley a couple inspo pics that were very light blonde, one with a few lowlights in it, and she ended up doing a dark root smudge and toning my hair a very cool tone dark brown(almost black). On top of that she stained my face and left my hair super patchy bc it was just lightened the day prior and whatever dark toner she used left the lighter pieces of my hair with dark spots so it looks horrible when I try to straighten it and wear it down or slicked back. I called and thought I left a vm the next day since they were closed but wasn’t positive, so I messaged them via their contact link on the website and didn’t hear anything back. So I ended up calling back on Wednesday afternoon to talk to the manager and see if they could do anything to get my hair back to the blonde hair I came in with and get rid of the splotchiness. She was super rude on the phone and basically said that when I came in I I needed a color correction(which wasn’t the case). I came in early just in case it needed more than a toner(since that is what I scheduled), and Ashley said it wasn’t near as bad as what she was expecting and that we could just tone it. The one pic I showed her did have a few darker pieces throughout so she said she was going to do that, but never did she say she would have to dye my hair a darker color. In fact, she asked me what tone blonde I was going for and said she would get it as ashy as possible. Jessica(the manager) was rude, unprofessional, unapologetic and honestly left me in tears following our phone conversation. I’ve been trying to find a good, affordable salon in the area and was excited for my appointment, only to have the worst experience EVER! She did offer to just refund my money, but now I’m back on the hunt for a salon to fix the mess I was left me with. :(.

I have very thin fine hair. Went there to get a pixie cut and I don't think the girl knew what a pixie cut was. Long story short I ended up cutting all my hair off and I now am sporting the J. I. Jane look.

I went in with purple, pink, and blonde in my hair and Jade managed to get me to a platinum blonde! She did an amazing job. The salon itself is beautiful and clean. Will definitely be going back.

I have been going to Jordan to get my hair done for years. She is absolutely amazing. Her and Jessica did the hair for the girls in my wedding and Bailey did the makeup. I could not have asked for better, Everyone looked so beautiful.

Studio Bliss is exactly that- a Bliss filled experience that will leave you feeling beautiful. I found SB walking to a restaurant my husband and I frequented while we lived in the Creston area. The owner was closing up shop but I was so elated by the glow of the place I stopped in to say hello and to see if I liked the place more from the inside. I walked out with an appointment and a renewed excitement to get my nails done for my wedding. Now a couple years later, whenever I visit Grand Rapids, I make my appointment on their online portal on the journey up! I have yet to find another salon so blissful in other cities that I have lived. Studio Bliss is everything that a salon should be, excellent quality of service and fabulous beauticians all wrapped up in an experience that will make you feel like a bride-to-be whenever you walk in the door.

The color was not at all like the color in the photo that I had shown the stylist. Not to mention that the color that was put in my hair faded after a day of having it.
