I've been coming here for almost 4 years for all my braiding needs. All the women that work here have always provided me with an exceptional experience and flawless braids that last. Highly recommend!

Completely unprofessional, zero customer service skills. I went in by a referral and never again. After two weeks my hair was falling out and my coworker who referred had the same issue. When she called to communicate this problem she was rude, yelling over the phone, and placed a customer on the line to back her up instead of listening. My scalp is still sore from whatever product she used that caused a horrible reaction, possibly expired product. While there at my appointment, she pushed my appointment back, and then after one row of braids took a 45 minute lunch, while I sat waiting. I completely understand needing to take a break, but professional courtesy would have been to schedule around your appointments to avoid me sitting for longer than necessary. The amount of hair that fell out when taking down these braids after two weeks has never happened and I have been getting my hair braided for years! If I could rate zero stars I would. With her reaction to personal feedback being so extreme, would not recommend. Out $300, and a good chunk of my hair. Response: Vanessa and I are not the same person which goes to show the amount of research you did on your client list. My coworker called and I was a witness to your phone conversation 11/25. I went to your salon on 10/26 when you pushed my appointment back to 1:20pm. You then proceeded to braid a row and then leave to take your 45 minute lunch. I respect you have a business to run and urge you in the future to treat feedback in a respectful manner. My coworker Vanessa you keep referring to acted professionally and kind over the phone and you were yelling on the line, the call was recorded. We had shared experiences and instead of trying to figure out why we both had negative experiences you choose to take no accountability and assume it was lies. This back and forth could have been avoided had you taken the phone call in a respectful manner, and tried to figure out why two of your clients who came in weeks apart are having the same experience, and from the looks of your reviews we are not the only ones. My scheduled appointment was from 1pm-6pm I left the salon at 8:20pm. I gain nothing in lying, but you could gain a lot on working on your customer service skills. You are right the cost of service is $280, I regretfully left a $20 tip.

I had the best experience. They did a beautiful hairstyles on me and my cousin. Our hairstyle lasted longer than expected and l definitely come back and refer more of my friends and family. 5 stars all the way

I like the fact they can take down your hair, wash your hair and re-braid all in the same appointment! Very fast service with two people working on your hair. I’m tender headed and I never leave hurting🙌🏾

I have been a loyal client of Stevi for more than 6 year now and have even recommended her to my colleague. Her craftsmanship is truly superb. Stevi exhibits great professionalism and effectiveness in her work. I absolutely adore my box braids and Senegalese twist – outstanding job, Stevi! I feel immense pride in your accomplishments. I called for a sew in after purchasing my bundles she said next week then called back and said I can come at 1:00 I thought she was squeezing me in but no she had someone else do my hair. I know they have tv’s at shops but when doing a customer hair pay attention to their head especially with the amount of money they spend.Very disappointed in the way my hair looks and I bet no one has a license.. You will eventually find out in life it’s not ok to take peoples hard earned money for your satisfaction only and not give them what they wanted. Karma Karma Karma I hope it visits you soon.

Never go to Stevi's she partial she only dose this to some of her clients . She did an excellent job with my braids, The atmosphere was lovely but she failed to tell me that she put hair glue in my hair as she was put my braids in.

Second time I’ve been to this salon and left disappointed. I communicated the style I wanted and that my hair is colored. I was told they could do it but I would have to provide hair and was sent links of the hair to buy. I told her they didn’t have the color and was told to “look for it”. I am not a hairstylist otherwise I would do my hair myself…I had no Idea what to purchase and if the color was right so I ended up purchasing hair that came in a week later just for it to be the wrong color. The locs were also too small. I had to run to the beauty supply store with my hair looking crazy not once but twice due to the miscommunication! Extremely unprofessional and when I confronted the stylist who I texted about the issue she told me she didn’t know what color I needed and it’s on me to provide it. Again, I gave a reference picture and how my hair was colored at the moment. Gaslighting and miscommunication at its finest! Disappointed with how my hair turned out and how much I paid to not get what I asked for. They had the nerve to only give me $20 back for the whole mess. Never coming to this salon again and plan to make a formal complaint to the owner.

Stevi and her team are awesome, and they always do a beautiful job with my knotless box braids each time I’ve visited the salon. They last long, the hair they use is good quality, and they ask questions along the way so you get your desired look.

Great service every time. My braids are gorgeous and last 6+ weeks, even with weekly washes! My appointments start on time and she doesn't have you in the chair all day. Highly recommend.

LADIES IN THE SAN ANTONIO AREA DONT GET YOUR HAIR BRAIDED HERE YOUR BRAIDS WONT LAST A WEEK! WENT BACK TO GET THEM FIX(SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE ABOUT IT) KEPT TELLING ME SHE BEEN DOING HAIR ALONG TIME(BUT NOT PROFESSIONAL LIKE SHE SHOULD) SO SHE TRIMS THE SIDE OF THE BRAID ALL THE WAY UP CUTTING MY HAIR & THEN SHE BURNT MY REAL HAIR I TOLD HER I SMELL BURNT HAIR SHE TRIED TO SAY IT WS NOT MY HAIR..AFTER A DAY OF SEEING “THE FIX” I CONTACTED HER & SHE TOLD ME SHE DONT HAVE TIME!! I WAS ON TIME FOR MY APPT I TIPPED/PAID THEM & THIS IS THE SERVICE CORINE GAVE ME! IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR HAIR CUT & DAMAGED WHEN TRYING TO GET A “PROTECTIVE HAIRSTYLE” DONT GO TO CORINE @ Stevihair_style To your response your a LIAR!! it was 3 days later I called back you were NEVER professional when I came for the fix you were extra rude! Yes it was 2 years ago and I’m going to always post my review when you delete it because you cut and burnt my hair which I still have pics of and when I text you the next day you told me you didn’t have time and blocked me!! Stevi & Ameyo both worked on my very short short. I have an inch of 4C hair in the back and 2 inches in the front. Every other hairstylist I reached out to me said my hair was too short. Ameyo’s expertise is with short hair so she worked on the back and Stevi the shop owner, worked on the front. They did my hair in a timely manner and had excellent conversation & energy. I’m a first time customer who will be back again!
