I loved the decorations, I loved the attitude of the stylist, and loved my haircut. While I didn't know exactly what I wanted at first, but my stylist (Deborah) was vary nice about it and helped me choose something that would fit my face and make me happy. I think she also took social cues vary well. I will definitely go here again, and I will recommend it.

The owner Susan is nice and she does a good job on your hair. Her personality and professionalism is not there though, if you want somebody to be rude to you if you ever have to cancel then go to her. I unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to a work conflict and she was extremely rude with me.. will not be returning. If you don't care about the hair stylist's personality or professionalism go here

GEORGIANA!!!! She doesn't just "cut hair"....she is an artist with hair being her canvas. She not only takes her time listening to exactly what you want but will also tell you her expert opinion considering your hair type. If you are looking for a modern cut, color, ect.....she's yo girl!!!

Susan is a wonderful stylist! I prefer low-maintenance hair, and Susan gives me subtle sun-kissed highlights that grow out beautifully and a cut that looks great even when I do nothing but wash-n-wear. She really listens to what her clients want and then delivers. Definitely recommended!

Susan was awesome! I came in for an appointment we scheduled for 3pm but day light savings messed us up and she squeezed me in anyway. Great customer service! Also I had extremely long, easily tangled hair. She listened to my concerns and gave me advice all during my visit. I have always bounced around to different salons because I never liked the previous cuts. She even noticed the wrong pieces that I asked multiple hairstylists to fix. I love love love this cut by Susan! Definitely will recommend her to everyone and will go back myself!!

Susan has done my hair for years. I wouldn’t go to anybody else for coloring technique and all kinds of hair services. The Salon is always upbeat and yet relaxed. I recommend Stax Hair Salon to everybody!

Susan is a life saver I moved to Gainesville over a year ago and tried many different places, and I was never happy with the end result. Finally found Susan and her shop and I couldn’t be happier. Does amazing work, always ask how you want it done and doesn’t just assume how you want it. Susan is also super friendly and doesn’t treat a customer like just another dollar

Susan was recommended by a coworker almost 8 years ago and I’m so happy. She does a wonderful job cutting and coloring my baby fine hair. I moved from Gainesville but schedule appointments when home to visit family. I regularly get compliments on my hair color and how healthy my hair looks 😍.

This place is the cutest!!! I love the atmosphere / decor and I am SO glad I found a great stylist and salon that I am confident in committing to now that I’ve become pretty settled in Gainesville. Susan did a fantastic job with my curly, somewhat thin hair which I’m usually very picky about and shy to trust stylists with! I loved the Moroccan line she used on me and would highly recommend her services in a heartbeat. The price was what I expected—I’m always happy to pay for a quality job & it was an added bonus knowing I was supporting a local/small business (a win/win for everyone!) Thank you Susan!!!

I cannot say enough good things about these ladies! I have been going to Sara for about a year now and she has always understood and worked with me as a team to make sure I truely enjoy my hair. My hair is very thick and I have to thank her for having the patience to help me get the perfect cut. I would recommend her over and over, thanks Sara!

I needed to fix a bad balayage that I was unhappy with on short notice, and Sara was Super accommodating! She worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and she did an amazing job. The Salon is very cute and everyone was super friendly! Definitely go to Sara if you're in the Gainesville area!!

Susan has been doing my hair for 17 years and I will not go anywhere else. She is a color master and has fixed my home coloring jobs for me. She keeps me stylish when I come in and say..."I think I want bangs" or "I think I need to grow it out". I can't say enough good!
