Not sure what is going on with this location, I have gone there twice, the first time the girl accidentally gave my appointment to someone else so I had to make a new one and wait all over again, today I get the text I’m on deck, when I walk in and check in I find out I’m at the bottom of the list with a 35 minute wait, and if you try to talk to someone about the situation they just look at you with a blank face and just go back to doing what they were doing. I won’t be back

Ariel is amazing! My 7 year old son loves getting his hair cut when he knows it’s getting g cut by Ariel. She is patient and does so well with him. Love her !

I have been to sports clips from Tampa to Orlando and never had a problem. This was my worst experience ever. I went in to get a haircut and my beard trimmed for my birthday and bi-annual company meeting this weekend. Every hair dresser has been very careful with my beard, asking questions to understand what I wanted. Well last night that changed in seconds. I said I wanter it lined up and pointed to where and that I didn’t want anything really taken from the beard. So, while using the trimmers on my hair starting in the fade she used them to “trim” my beard, and in seconds something they took me 9 months to grow was butchered. Let’s put in context, 12 years in between the military and fire service where I could not have one, my choice, another 10+ years of being with some that made fun are called it stupid when I tried to grow one. Add my birthday today and event this weekend, and I am royally beside myself. I bit my tongue at your store, I just wanted out of the seat, I paid for an MVP that I didnt get, hell I even tipped, just wanted out of there. 9 months of growth, gone, my beard was close to 4” long, and when I left maybe 1/2” remained. My neck was cut, my haircut sucked, and my beard was butchered. Like someone took a dull weed eater to it. I wasn’t going to say anything, but my entire evening was ruined by me trying to “fix” what was left and fighting the urge to shave it off. Frankly I don’t want to do anything for my own birthday, don’t want to go to work and explain what happened, and I don’t want to attend that meeting. Mistakes happen, discarding what your customer says because of what ever you think, and not clarifying, that’s completely different. And after me telling her what she did and that I was not happy and just wanted to get out of there. I get asked about what product I put in my hair and charged for an MVP and I paid, biting my tongue, just to get out of the there. I really hope the rest of your stylists are decent, but I don’t know if I will ever step foot in the Gunn Highway location again. Worst haircut and beard trim ever, and worst timing.

I am SO glad I looked at these reviews first before getting a haircut. I went with Amber based on the positive Google reviews about her and this was the best haircut I’ve ever gotten at SportClips. She was super friendly, smart, and quick! 10/10 recommend!!

The absolute most mind blowingly worst cut I’ve ever had. I had a full beard that I hadn’t trimmed in months because I was growing it out. Sat down and asked for her to fade my beard. She said she didn’t know how to do that and I need to walk her through it. That should have been my first red flag, but she literally gave the guy in front of me a fade and I said to do exactly what you did to him but on my beard instead of my head. I told her to leave the length of my beard and just give me a fade. To my complete amazement, It was honestly very well done. I was shocked. She asked me how it looked, and I said great. I could not believe how good it looked based on my original feelings from when I walked in. All of a sudden, she just took off the attachment and shaved my beard into the worst chinstrap I’ve ever seen. I didn’t ask for chinstrap, I did not ask her to line it up, all I asked her to do was fade it and LEAVE THE LENGTH. Not only did she cut it into a chinstrap, but she didn’t even follow the line of my chin and cut the entire corner off. Any chance of me trying to salvage it and just keep the chin strap (WHICH LOOKED AWFUL AND I DIDNT ASK FOR IT)was ruined by the fact that it was a terrible chinstrap on top of that. I’m 35 years old and I felt like a 12-year-old afraid to go to school tomorrow because of how bad my haircut was. I was on vacation with my wife and this completely ruined the last day of our trip. I went back to the hotel and shaved it off. My wife of 12 years has never seen my face without a beard. Let me repeat, in the 12 years my wife has known me, I have never gotten a cut so bad that I had to shave my face until I came to this establishment. Add the fact that this was a $50 experience, I will never step foot inside of any sports clips ever again in my life.

I’ve been coming to this Sport Clips since moving to Citrus park almost 10 years ago. In all that time, Kristen is by far and away the best stylist I’ve had! She gives fantastic cuts that are consistent, quick and she’ll put you to sleep with her scalp massages during your shampoo. She’s also very personable and can read the room, chatty if you like, all business if you’re not feeling it. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!

Prices are too high, but sometimes they have coupons. Where else are you going to go, anyway? But staff is very friendly and fast. No problems there.

The stylists here are so sweet and welcoming and professional, I mean every bit! They are so comfortable and always on point with the timing of appointments (both online & in person check-ins). I have confidence being with any of the stylists who work here, but especially Ariel! She is phenomenal, so kind, fun, and always delivers excellent results!

Today I wanted a masculine haircut, but as a nonbinary person, I was scared to go to a barber shop. Mainly because I'm in Florida traveling right now and many people in this state are not big fans of the LGBTQ community. I saw that I was near a Sport Clips and decided to give it a chance. I was so pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the atmosphere was. Even the customers were cool. My stylist Bri did an EXCELLENT job, and I can't wait to check out a location in Virginia to see if I will find the same level of top notch service there. Thank you so much for a great first experience with Sport Clips today Bri! Highly recommended🙂
