Prior to moving to South Lyon, I've only ever really gotten my hair cut at Asian haircut places because I firmly believed that Asians knew Asian hair best. My previous attempts at getting haircuts at non-Asian places have in fact ended in disaster, but this Sport Clips has finally convinced me that I can go to a mainstream hair place and get a good haircut. I've had 4 different stylists cut my hair here because I always choose the "First Available" option when getting in line on the Sport Clips app. The 4 stylists I've had at Kathy, Rian, Ty, and Brittany. All 4 did a good job, though I have to give a special shout-out to Ty for really helping me tweak my haircut style to my liking in a way no one else has really done before. I always get the Ultimate MVP experience, which is a very relaxing way to get my hair cut and washed. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Sports clips is the only place I will ever take me and my son's to get our hair cuts. Not only has it been the best haircuts we have ever had ! The ladies are extremely nice and professional!! Sports clips will always get 5 !STARS! From me and my family 💯 I would most definitely recommend to all my friends and family 👍.... And a special shout out for my stylist Brittany whom is absolutely amazing!!!!

Always a great experience. Pleasant conversation. They're scented products never seem to disappoint. All for a fair price. I make sure to check in online so I'm never forced to sit waiting for long periods.

Had my son stop in for an emergency trim because we had a funeral the next day and his regular place was booked. She cut and trimmed up the back but didn't take anything off the top or sides at all and nothing was blended in at all. Looked terrible... Can't believe she let him leave like that. He's not one to say anything so he paid his $30 and had to go straight to the Barber Shop in town for them to fix for another $25. Will never go there again.

I was thoroughly pleased by the service that I received at Sports Clips yesterday morning. To be perfectly transparent, my visit was prompted by the fact that I received a coupon for a free haircut as a result of my American Red Cross blood donation. This was my first time visiting Sports Clips, since the shop's location is somewhat inconvenient for me. That being said, the experience was incredible. First of all, the quality of the haircut was excellent. In fact, it was much better than the haircut that I usually receive at a competing haircut franchise chain. Secondly, the staff was kind enough to "upgrade" me to an MVP service, because it was my first visit. I was so impressed by the experience of having a warm towel with a face massage, a shampoo, and then a massage of my neck and shoulders. It was so relaxing and enjoyable! I sincerely appreciated having the opportunity to experience the quality of your service. Though I may not come for every haircut, I will certainly look for opportunities to visit again.

I went in to get my undercut trimmed and felt 100% comfortable. Quick, affordable and friendly. I will be going back! One of best the undercuts I've gotten in a shop.

My son tried to go here once and was told Walk-ins were not welcome, so I downloaded the app and signed up for an appointment at 10:30 this morning. It was over a 2 hour wait so we went out to breakfast and then about an hour before the appointment hit the Starbucks 3 Doors Down. I continue to watch the wait time and saw people slowley being taken off the list. We were down to 27 minutes. I was checking every 5 or so minutes and next thing I saw we were down to zero. From 27 minutes down to zero. We instantly got up Walk The Three Doors Down and entered in the phone number. My son sat in there for 30 minutes nobody acknowledged him he just sat there as people kept filtering up and getting their haircut and he's still waiting. When I finally went in and asked about it they told me that it would be at least another hour wait because his appt had been purged and it was somehow my fault that I did not know that I had to sign up for text updates. Why would I need a text update if I'm constantly on the app looking at the time I would have thought that would have been adequate, and honestly not only that if I would have been asked when I downloaded the app for a text update I would have accepted it but it didn't even ask me. I know the fact that we will never be back does nothing to this company but I really believe that this is very poor planning on whoever made the app and the entire company for treating people so poorly.

Sports clips New Hudson location…I bring my two sons often. I always check in online in advance and follow the recommendations of when to arrive. Almost every time we end up sitting in the lobby waiting for 45 minutes plus. Today specificity I was told to arrive at 11:25am. It’s 12:42 and we are still in the lobby. I struggle with this because there are 5 stylists here, 2 of them with clients in their chairs. The lobby is full of people waiting. Zero regard for people’s time. Zero apologies or acknowledgment. Stylist conversations about weight loss, vomiting on the floor, free medical care while standing around with clients waiting. This has happened a few times (different time frames and specific details) but today I felt a review was appropriate. On a positive- Gerri is amazing and was not part of the above.

They need more than 2 stylists working during the week. Longer wait times, but we like the cuts. 12/30/2023 - I just use the app to check in now. A little glitchy from time to time, but helps tremendously. Rian was great today. Thank you!!

Friendly and a great vibe asoon as I came threw the door as almost every time. One thing I hear from multiple sports clips all over the United States is corporate doesn't allow them to play music and that is disappointing as a high class barber shop not a beauty salon.
