When my son says he wants an inch cut everywhere for a trim and to keep the same style, don't cut an inch on top and 4 to 5 inches off the back. So it's all messed up. I have a very upset 12 year old here now....we won't be coming back.

The utter disrespect of my time, to pay 30 dollars for a 10 minute haircut and to then go home and see a 2 inch by 1 inch strip of uncut hair clearly left uncut is baffling. It took me less time to go home and cut it down myself than that. Edit - I started having an extremely itchy rash and skin problems for about a week after getting the haircut. I had to go be prescribed special hair treatment to fix the issue.

WARNING - DO NOT GO!!!! I went last week and got a haircut. Over the weekend my head started to itch and burn. Went into the dermatologist this week and they told me I have Folliculitis (aka barbers rash) caused by dirty hair clippers. Manager was not helpful whatsoever... Now I am stuck battling dermatology fees and medication costs...

I went to SportsClips in Cottage Grove, MN on August 12, 2023 to get a haircut from Caitlyn. Caitlyn said she had Covid, waited 8 days to return to work, management was not happy she returned early as she was displaying symptoms (sneezing, sniffling, & slightly coughing), she put in her 2 week notice because of her disagreement with management, and I was infected by her with Covid. Caitlyn knew of my cancer history, autologous stem cell transplant, and many medical issues, although she waited to tell me she was returning from Covid after the other barber left the room (10-15 mins into the haircut). I was around only 3 people; my brother, my Mayo dr., and Caitlyn. My brother and my dr. tested negative for Covid for over a week. Two days after my haircut, I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I am still fighting for my life as I have a compromised immune system and have been to the hospital twice now for this Covid. I've tried to contact management but they don't answer. If you want a haircut, and an honest person who will not jeopardize your life with illnesses, go somewhere other than SportsClips in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. I will be seeking legal action against SportsClips for allowing a symptomatic person to return to work just because she files her two-week notice...

The wait times are comedic and clearly convenient for the owner or employees. Also... tada... they will randomly be closed on the one day most people could make time to get a hair cut.

First time there. Walked in signed up and was in the chair within 15 minutes. The lady who cut my hair was courteous and did a great job.

I made an appointment on the app like always, showed up at exactly the requested time, they asked I come back in 30 minutes. I came back 30 minutes later, my name was removed from the screen and I had to go to the end of the line. Truly terrible customer service from the employees who were unwilling to listen to my complaint and extremely rude about it.

Worst haircut experience ever. Waited well over and hour for no good reason. The stylists are overly chatty and really slow at cutting hair around 45 mins a cut. Once it was my turn and none of the online clients showed up it seemed like they did everything else to not call my turn like making phone calls and disappearing in the back. I won't be returning to this location. Get it together

Y'all got a flawed system and your staff suffer from it. Your employee Katlyn was very understanding and sweet and tried to answer my questions and emphasize. The manager that I don't recall her named stopped her haircut, walked up front just to begin to argue and try and be right. Not once do I want them to feel like I'm blaming them, it's not on them at all. Simply, your website did in fact have an estimated arrival time However, your messages contradict the website. The text that I received at 12:59 AFTER my estimated time on the website told me to be there in 15 minutes. My batter up, your next in line message I received at 1:22pm and I got there at 1:25pm and was denied service at 1:40pm after going up to the front to try and make sense of this. Your manager is clearly stressed and needs to learn a better approach to dealing with customers. Nothing about that situation seemed fair.

Haley did a great job!! 5 stars for her In my opinion, a shampoo should be included in the price a standard haircut. Once you wash your hair, there's always hair that was laying different or flat from a hat, etc. Need to shampoo it and go back over it to be on point!🤷🏻‍♂️

I never ever write reviews. Legit the worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life after waiting over an hour (even after checking in online and showing up at the estimated arrival time,) My wife almost cried because we have family pictures tomorrow. Super bummed

I was somewhat happy at first, though the lady forgot to put my hair in a top knot. I was very upset 2 hours later when my hair tie fell out and my braids that I spent good money on wereundone. Now I get to pay someone else to fix my hair. Very dissatisfied with the service. DON'T GO HERE!

I was the last cut of the day before they closed, my haircut didn't even start until almost 5 so I was a little worried the stylist would rush through it just to get me out of there. I had the complete opposite experience with Katie. She was fantastic, took her time, asked lots of questions about my preferences and I got one of the best cuts ever. I haven't had a preferred stylist at sports clips until today.
