I know that there are lots of Sport Clips around, but this is the only one you should go to. My son and I go on Sunday’s for Melanie and Bailey! They are fantastic.

I received a haircut at a Sport Clips location on 4th South in Salt Lake City by a stylist named Danielle on December 6, 2024 between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM Mountain Time. When I came back home, my wife pointed out that I had a patch about an inch big in the back of my head with hair missing. The patch was not present before the visit and it's clearly a result of accidentally trimming too much hair down to the scalp in a spot. The spot with missing hair can be sort of covered by combing over but my light scalp is very visible between my thick black hair to anyone behind me if the spot is not properly covered. On December 7, 2024, I called the 4th South location and they asked me to come in for a re-service. Unfortunately, because I live >25 miles away, I couldn't come back (this location is closer to my work and 7th was a Saturday/weekend). The manager of the location said I could go to a different Sport Clips location. So, I went to the Harvest Village location closer to me in South Jordan. The people there said they couldn't do a free re-service because it was another location's fault (the two locations have different owners), and that the only way to fix it would be to give me a 'zero fade' down to the scalp up to the mid back of my head. I chose to not get that because I prefer to hide the spot with a comb-over until the spot grows longer hair again. I called the 4th South location and offered them proof of the missing hair in the spot in the form of pictures or by having them talk to the people in the Harvest Village location. They didn't take me up on that offer but asked me again to come in for re-service, which would not accomplish anything because I do not want a zero fade. I asked them if I could get a refund for the faulty haircut and they said they don't provide refunds either. So, I guess my favorite location for haircuts suddenly became my least favorite, all because of the unwillingness of the staff to refund the cost of a butchered haircut. The mistake made by the stylist bothers me because I hate the fact that my scalp is visible in the middle of my head. But, I can let it let it go because mistakes happen, and the hair will grow back in a month or so. What bothers me more is that the Sport Clips location won't even refund the cost of a job done so poorly. I loved this location and always have always had a great experience here in the past. I would have continued going to this location if I hadn't encountered this instance of a screwed-up haircut followed by poor customer service. I can't justify going to a location that won't be willing to take accountability for the mistake of one of their stylists. Anyway, all stylists, except Danielle, that I have encountered at this location have been great. So, I don't expect a new customer to have a bad experience. But, just know that if you do end up in a similar situation with a bitched haircut, don't expect a refund.

Great prices and great cuts! My barber/stylist did a great job with my hair. Sometimes it can be scary to try out a new barber, especially with my hair type, but she made it super seamless and helped me figure out how to style my hair afterwards as well!

I've been going to Sport Clips for about a year now and have had several different stylists. Every one of them has been excellent! The stylists here are incredibly talented and take the time to ensure my haircut is perfect. Unlike other places that rush through the process to get to the next person, they really focus on doing it right. I’m always satisfied with my haircut and appreciate the quality service they provide. Highly recommend!

They definitely went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. She double-checked her work and made sure I was satisfied. The service was very friendly as well. A very pleasant experience.

Came in for MVP treatment and got just that. My wife doesn’t usually like it when I cut my hair short, but this was a rare exception. The stylist knew exactly what I wanted. We had good conversation, too.

Arrived nine a.m. First in line! Waited twenty minutes for cut... Stylist in bad mood or something! Butchered my left side. Bummer...thought I could trust her! Won't be back!

Worst haircut experience I've had in all my years of going to Sport Clips. I was asked if I wanted a wash, and I said yes. I asked for a gentleman cut, not even close. She was done in 5 min, left my collar tucked in my shirt, and never washed my hair. I'm heading to my usual location now to fix it and get a better experience. I'm not coming to this one again. Update: Went to south Towne location. Brandy was kind enough to spend 20 minutes fixing my hair and giving me the service I usually get.

I always struggled to find salons where I can get my beard faded. This is probably the best value for money place. Hats off to Bailey for her wonderdul styling ability!
