I cannot say enough amazing things about Shannon Lindsey Fernando! I’ve been coming to her religiously for over 10 years. She always exceeded my expectations. She takes the time to listen to exactly what you want, gives thoughtful suggestions, and executed it perfectly. I love the way my hair looks and feels after I see her. Shes also very quick to fix an issue if you have one. Messaged her, she got me in the next day no problem. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but her friendly and welcoming demeanor makes the whole experience so enjoyable. I always leave feeling like a brand-new person! If you’re looking for a stylist who truly cares and delivers amazing results, Shannon Lindsey Fernando is the one to see. Highly recommend!!!! 💖

I recently visited Shannon Lindsay Cross for a cut and color, and I regret to say it was a very disappointing experience. I paid $420 for 3.5 hours of work, but I left feeling that my concerns and expectations were ignored. I showed her a photo of the blonde I wanted, and while she acknowledged it during the appointment, the final result was far from what I asked for. When I reached out afterward to express my dissatisfaction (as she had encouraged me to do), I was met with dismissiveness. Despite offering to pay for a correction, she ignored my willingness to resolve the issue and abruptly ended the conversation. I also felt there was a lack of transparency about her process. For example, she spent a significant portion of the session straightening my hair, which I could have done beforehand if communicated. Instead of taking responsibility for the time management or the outcome, she deflected by blaming the session's limitations. What's most disappointing is the apparent lack of care for client satisfaction. A great stylist not only produces beautiful results but also listens to their clients, communicates honestly, and works collaboratively. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here. She clearly no longer loves what she does and has become complacent with her work. I cannot recommend her to anyone who values professionalism, transparency, and client-centered service.

Shannon’s knowledge and expertise are unmatched. She’s transparent and honest, always taking the time to explain why something will or won’t work for me, and she consistently delivers gorgeous results while setting and meeting realistic expectations for what I’ve asked for, based on the state of my hair at the time. No matter what, she’s made me feel beautiful at every stage of my hair journey. She’s also dedicated to staying on trend. She shows how she regularly takes classes and pursues continuing education to learn new skills and techniques, ensuring she’s always up-to-date on the latest styles and innovations in hair care. This commitment to growth and excellence shows in her work, which is always fresh, modern, and absolutely stunning. I’ve been lucky to explore so many styles and colors with her—blonde, red, dark brown, purple, extensions, and everything in between—all while keeping my hair healthy and manageable. Even during a tough period when a medication left my usually long locks thin and brittle, Shannon guided me through the change with so much care and grace. We decided together to cut my hair short for the first time in my adult life, and she turned what felt like a drastic change into something fun and refreshing. Her talent speaks for itself—I constantly get compliments on my hair, no matter what stage of grow-out it’s in, and I always proudly say, “It’s Shannon’s work!” Whether I see her once every six months or more frequently, she’s always brought her A-game, and her passion for her craft shines through every time I sit in her chair. Remember, some results take time, so make sure to look through her booking timeframes and service descriptions! Shannon may make the end result look like magic, but the most dramatic (healthy) transformations take time. 😉 Shannon is more than a hairstylist; she’s a true partner in my hair journey, and I can’t imagine trusting anyone else. I’ll be her loyal client until the day she (deservingly) retires—and even then, I’ll take her most trusted recommendation as my next stylist. I got my hair done by Shear Hair Love by Jen at Sola Salon in Gainesville and she is the most amazing artist that has ever worked on my hair. I had a color correction done and she thoroughly explained the entire process, starting off with making sure we were on the same page with what I wanted before we started and explained the steps as she was working on my hair from beginning to end. She completely transformed my hair in the best way and I feel more confident and beautiful after my visit. I highly recommend booking with Jen, she is professional and also such a kind person! Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Hair by Meleah is the absolute best! She does a great job and really listens to my wants and concerns. She makes hair care suggestions without feeling pushy or that I have to buy the product. She has an open door policy if there is anything that I don’t like or just does not lay right the next day. She is AMAZING with my daughter who is 6. She is Super sweet to her and listens to all of the indecisiveness that comes with a 6 year old. Then once the cut is done Meleah does her “princess curls” and glitter spray and my daughter just loves it so much. She makes us both feel so special and gorgeous. Will not go to any other hair stylist.

I have been a loyal client of Shannon’s since 2018 and she’s done my hair multiple times and i loved the way she worked my hair, however, i recently saw her and i could just tell she wasn’t that devoted to her work anymore. she completely butchered my haircut and when i asked if she could fix it she said she’d reschedule me to fix the cut. i showed up promptly to the salon and she made me wait over 20 minutes, (i get that stylists run behind, but she had already told me to come later than my original appointment time) i ended up leaving because i couldn’t wait all afternoon, and when she told me she was ready, i notified her that i left, she “tried” to reschedule me but actually never replied. i have always been willing to pay for her work because i thought she was extremely talented, and she even raised her prices but did not meet her quality work… for someone who has been loyal to her, she disappointed me this time. i would not recommend her to anyone going forward

I visit Ivan Pastor, barber every 3 months for my haircut. You have to set an appointment with him through his online appointment system which is convenient. You are treated to a first class barber experience. No waiting around. The appointment you receive is exactly for you and you only. Me coming home after my appointment. Happy customer.

Meleah is going to take care of you 100%. She is patient, knowledge, and easy to talk to. She will make sure you are getting the look you are wanting. I have dark long curly hair and am constantly unsure of how I want to change it up. She has done several balayages on me, helping me go lighter, then darker. I just went darker again with a pop of color and she nailed it. She has a great range of knowledge and is always teaching me more about my hair care and the quality of products to use without being pushy to HAVE to buy. I’m the type of client with 50 million questions and she answers them all. I’ve been seeing her for 2 years, and have no intention of going anywhere else. Oh, and she is very considerate of your time, and gets you out when she promises. She always has masks (on herself and for you) and is very sanitary. If you are the type of client who is starting to experiment with color any needs a patient stylist -she is the one!

Love this place! Very neat and clean plus I have an appointment set up for tomorrow afternoon. The staff is friendly and taking every safety precaution to keep their clients safe.
