I've had mixed experiences here and it seems to depend on who you get. Some of them are very pleasant and very good. When you walk through the door you're rushed through the entire process. They don't usually speak to you and you're affraid to say anything at all if something doesn't look right. If you need a new set they literally pry your old ones off. It's very painful and takes a layer of nail with it. I was told to remove them myself before coming in if I didn't want them to do that. They use to soak them off, but he told me no, but at my last visit I ended up needing a new set and when he started to pry them I said no sorry it's way too painful. He quickly took out a bottle of "magic remover" and applied a coat then filed it off. Quick and painless!! Not sure why this isn't always an option. On one occasion I asked for a basic set and had to ask to have 3 nails filed down to match the rest, one tip was crooked and I had to ask them to clean the acrylic out from the back of the nails and it cost $60 for white tips with a clear coat. The dollar store hand soap was a watery mess too. You're making boat loads of "tax free" cash everyday...please quit watering down the soap. I also got a pedicure or a rinsed foot I should say 😞 I literally just dipped my feet into the water before the girl started tapping the footrest and gesturing to give her my foot. I said it hasn't even soaked yet...I literally just put them in the water. She repeated the tapping and hand gesture and was getting annoyed that I wasn't compliying immediately. I reluctantly took my foot out and she began treatment. It was awful and maybe took 15 minutes total. She did a once around with the pumice sponge super quick and moved on...like wtf? It cost $50 and I left with rough feet which I buffed myself when I got home. They literally cannot get you in and out fast enough. Okay fine, but at least do the job in its entirety. I have had some really good experiences here too and I do love the hand painted designs they can do! Like I said...depends on who you get it seems.

I’ve gone to Soie nails a couple times now and every experience has been great! I’ve had Michael do my nails twice now, and every time he delivers. He makes sure that your nails are perfect for you every step of the way. I love getting my nails done here!

I’ve had good and bad experiences here. Like most mixed reviews on this page- depends who you get. I’ve been cut during a manicure before and I’ve had acrylics here that were super thick and warped and IMPOSSIBLE for them to remove a month later. To the point they soaked and grinded it down over and over and I still left with lumpy acrylics on my nails. More recently, I got a pedicure. Does no one scrub down callouses anymore? I feel like I left with harder callouses than what I arrived with. The polish is great and the clean up around my toenails is good, but actual foot care is terrible. I find myself doing it at home a day later. Would appreciate a price drop if you’re only going to paint my toe nails and leave the rest of my foot the way you found it. Anyways, for nail art and such, this place seems the better option for this city. Please Soie, keep up a standard of care!

I went here for the first time after moving back to the Sault, the tech that did my nails (Tessa, I think) did an absolutely amazing job 👏 She took her time shaping and painting them perfectly. It's exactly how I wanted them to look

I had a great experience with Michael and would highly recommend. He did exactly what I asked and kept confirming I like the shape, length etc. I showed him a pic of the design and he nailed it.

Appointments are always available. A hard working crew that offer the latest in nail care. My pedicures are done professionally & in a timely manner. This is my go to place for both manicures & pedicures.

I am new to the city and was desperate to get my nails done. I had terribly overgrown, cracked, dull nails. I made an appointment and the nail technician who I saw was a random (not recommended by anyone). I thought I would give a random person a try. The tec I had was TOM - we was excellent. He took off my old gel overlay, cleaned up my claws and then applied new gel overlay with shellac. I wanted something very natural. I am beyond stunned at his work, attention to detail. He was quiet but definitely skilled ! Finally the price was very reasonable 💰 Thank you In love ❤️

I went in for just a simple fill and trim. After chatting with Michael I decided to give him free range. I told him about myself and he worked his magic. Which is an understatement. Not only am I in love with how they turned out, we had great conversation and great laughs. 10/10 would recommend Michael without a doubt!

I went yesterday..place is disgusting dirty. My nails look horrible. I showed the guy a picture and I came hone and cut them all. My nails looked like waffles. Horrible. Never again lioe what happened in this city you pay 100 for crap...

I've gone a few times now, but the last two times they've drawn blood and were extrmely rough with removal the last time. Every time blood was drawn they appeard to just put their tools back with the rest and made no attempt to clean them which is super concerning! I won't be back.

I went to get acrylic nails done for graduation and the young guy who did my nails was completely distracted watching a soccer game on his phone. All my nails are different sizes and shapes and I did not get what I asked for. If i could go back in time I would have just walked out. I wanted a camouflage nail and he sounded really confident but it came out horrid. I had asked him to remove the paint he got frustrated and got me someone else. My nails are paper thin from him filing way too much, he was also very rough with my nails. I am not pleased and will not be going back. Definitely not worth 60$

I met with Tessa today to have my nails done, something I’ve done for over 20 years (so I have high standards). I asked for a simple natural looking nail design, and she knocked it out of the park. She was extremely detailed and checked in with me throughout the experience. Price was amazing for the quality of work she provided. Already booked my next appointment!

They just don’t care, we are pumped through like cattle. Why would I pay $40 plus a tip to leave a pedicure with still rough feet? Of course you say something, you are met with eye rolls, huffs and obviously words you can not understand. They are nice enough to your face but the quality lacks. Don’t even get me started on the tools in autoclave bags that have never been autoclaved. No pride

Have unfortunately been going here for a few months since I’ve moved here. Almost every time I get my nails done my shellac chips within days or a nail breaks and right after I get it fixed another one chips. Very frustrating having to visit multiple times a week. Will not be going back. The employees aren’t very friendly either.

Wanted to charge 13% “tax” on a gift card purchase when taxes are also paid when paying for the actual service. So wanted to tax me twice. Left and spent my $100 elsewhere at a place that doesn’t charge me tax twice.
