People,stop trusting Chaz to do your hair until he goes to rehab. He used to be a wonderful stylist,but his years of narcotic abuse has caused his once great craft to deteriorate. He isn't a bad person,but he is a addict who doesn't recognize how it is affecting his skills.

I never EVER write bad reviews but I had such a a terrible experience I figured I'd try to save someone else's hair. First off, he showed up late (I had to be at a work conference so the appointment was a bit time sensitive). I went in looking to TONE down the blonde I had been growing out for 2 years, trying to go back to natural (so I didn't have to keep getting it done because times are tough!). Chaz completely disregarded what I asked for and did what he wanted I guess, which was use permanent dye lighter than my natural color. Permanent dye lighter than your natural color will lighten your hair and turn it red (I learned from a quick Google search after the fact!). I went from having 2 different colors in my hair to having 3. Don't even get me started on how it was cut. I asked for layers and when I went to get my hair fixed (oh yeah I had to pay to have someone else fix the mess a month later, so much for saving money) my old stylist said it looked like he gave me 2 different haircuts. So choppy and not feathered at all. He pointed out my very few grey hairs (I'm 24), bragged about how successful he was, and how rich his husband is. My hair was barely washed afterwards, he put tons of oil from my roots to my ends, and gave me such a bad blowout I wish I'd just left the salon with wet hair. When it was all done he asked me to come back that weekend because HE wanted it to be darker. I never went back because I didn't want to risk him screwing up my hair more than he already had. I'm stuck toning my hair every few months to keep the red at bay until I can grow my hair out 6 inches or so and just chop off all the damage. Completely ruined the hair I spent years growing out along with my confidence and bank account.

What an odd experience...Chaz arrived 15 min late. Not a word about that. Daughter wanted layers...he was "confused". Played with her hair for an awkward 10 minutes while talking himself up. Cut it straight across then curled the tips to give the illusion of layers. He knew my daughter was 15 but that didn't stop him from using terrible language. Smelled like smoke. Two stars just because I am not mean and for his "creativity".

Jeanette does such an amazing job with my hair! She is very professional and I love how she gives me her undivided attention during the appointment. I never feel like she is rushing. Definitely would recommend her!

Chaz is a master. He knew exactly what to do with my fine head of misbehaving hair and I walked out feeling fabulous, isnt that how every girl should feel after a trip to the salon?! I will be back regularly, next time for sassy colour too!! Thank you Chaz!!!

I have been coming here for a few years now. Melissa is who does my hair. She is so sweet and amazingly talented. She nails the color every time and not only that but she is great to talk too while sitting for a few hours. The salon has a great feel to it as well. I highly recommend this salon!!!!

For more than 8 years I have had the privilege of having Melissa as my hairdresser. She is amazing and talented. Melissa is knowledgeable and patient. I have walked into the salon and asked her to "cut it all off" and she has been able to talk sense into me. I am 51 years old, have had numerous hairdressers in my lifetime, but have NEVER had a hairdresser that really listens and gives her professional advice, whether I like it or not. If you are looking for a new stylist or colorist, look no further! You will be thrilled with the results!

Love Melissa, always does the best job! Very honest and always does what's best for my hair! I always leave feeling pretty! I was gold blonde and she got my hair to the platinum color I wanted and I always get complimented on my hair! I recommend her to all my friends!

Melissa has been my hairdresser since 2009. She is wonderful! When I ask her to do different cuts, colors, and styles, she always knows exactly what will and will not work with my hair. I even drive from Syracuse to Rochester just to have her do my hair!! I highly recommend her...a truly talented stylist!!!

Melissa is amazing!! I recommend her to all my friends, family, and clients! She has been doing my hair for about 15 years now. I have naturally curly hair and I also color and highlight my hair. She totally gets my hair and whatever style I am looking for! I am so greafull for all your amazing work! You are THE BEST!!! I also go to her for Updos and or hair extensions for any events or galas that I attend. Would highly recommend Melissa to anyone and everyone!

Melissa told us a false info, because she promised silver color in 2 sessions and she couldn’t do it. We paid 125 twice (250 totally) and we have to go back one more time to do another session and I am sure she will not make it.

Purchased a Livingsocial deal on April 25th, 2013 for 3 gel manicures for $42. I've called 7 times and left messages - as no one answers the phone - and have not received a call back. I am now fighting with Livingsocial for a refund. Anyone else have this experience? This is my first and last Livingsocial experience. And the Soho Salon, which looks so lovely from the outside, must have some serious issues.
