Have a ton of issues with shoulder , hip and lower right side back pain. I’m very active and these muscles tighten all the time. This place is great. Clean and professional. However my past couple times going have not been good experiences. Despite asking for a certain focus and saying over and over o don’t want oil and want pressure focused on my hips and right side - I got a generic “elbow “ massage with massive and massive amounts of cream + oil - despite demanding no oil. She walked on my back for 5 minutes then spent the next twenty apply cream and moving her elbow on left side- “barely touching” surface. In other words - she was “mailing it in.” I demanded massage to be over after 15 minutes. She argued with me and said she’d focus on my hip and then spent another 10 minutes just putting more oil and cream. I was charged $70 for a half hour. I straight up feel ripped off. She “laughe at me “ as I paid as I told her “thank you for ripping me off .” She just kept laughing. I used to love this place. I legit feel ripped off the last 2 times I came here. Thanks for stealing $70 from me 🙄

Had an amazing. The therapist was skilled and combined stretching and deep pressure techniques that melted away my back pain. The atmosphere was calming and clean. Highly recommended!

I love coming here. It’s not like one of those random cheap Chinatown parlors where it feels like they’re rubbing you without intention. The women here have mastered their craft and I feel fortunate to be able to experience their art. I’m not usually this corny but I seriously strongly recommend. I have chronic thoracic back pain. I’m sore after the first day (but in a a good way) but for the following 2-4 days I experience remission. If I could afford to come back weekly I would! It’s so good youlll want to tip them your life savings

Sadly the service is only good till you become a regular. Asked for reflexology twice specifically, didn’t get it in the 2 hour massage. The masseuse was in a hurry, and had to end 10 minutes early :/ I won’t be going back. It was great initially though

The massage itself ranged from okay to deeply unpleasant due to the random grabbing and fast, seemingly random manipulation of my joints. I left feeling like I had been in a car accident and, more worrying, with some significant pain. My back, knees, and one of my fingers did not do well with what seemed like unskilled chiropractic moves. I have had probably two dozen or so massages (never Thai massage FWIW) and this was not like any of them; not relaxing given the random yanking on my limbs. The pressure of the massage was not an issue, but the surprising manipulations were bizarre and painful. It took four weeks for me to be able to run again afterwards because my knees hurt so much. It's been two months, and my manipulated finger pretty much hurts most of the time. I called to let Smile know the effects of the massage and they did not offer a refund but, rather, invited me to return for more work, which was not something I felt safe doing.

I made an appointment for 4pm. Walked in at 3:55 and was greeted by someone on the front desk. Then everyone left. I waited until 4:15pm and since nobody came out again I just left. They finally called me at 4:24pm when they realized I wasn't in the lobby anymore

Just got a 90 minute Signature massage and it was absolutely the best. I reserved my time by the website and the business reminded me by phone/text. My Masseuse (Chai Lok) checked in with me regarding pressure (more / less). I generally prefer a lot of pressure and she delivered. They use many different techniques which were really therapeutic (including stretching!) I have a sore back and the masseuse took note of that to work on that area. I felt wonderful afterwards. I’m definitely going to return regularly because I feel the massage technique is very skilled and worth the price. They accept all credit cards but there is a good discount with cash, so I recommend that you pay that way.

This was the best massage ever. I never leave reviews but literally this massage was so good. I had Kai (who is literally a massage champion btw, look it up) and it was above and beyond. We did a couples massage and both therapists ask about where you want to focus and are extremely skilled and intentional. If you’re someone who needs more pressure or thinks it’s never hard enough…go here. It’s bodywork and massage and I couldn’t feel better. The value for the price as well is unmatched.

Went in for couples massage. The staff is really welcoming, and the rooms were nice as well. Our massage therapists were Emily and Nina and they were both excellent. They were communicative throughout the massages and also ensured we were comfortable as well.

Great service all around. I was able to come with a group and reserve for 7 over the phone, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. On-site, the massages were great and helped everyone feel more relaxed and we enjoyed the green tea afterwards and the items available for purchase. Will definitely be back!

This place doesn’t need any more 5-star review and it’s known as the best Thai massage in Boston. However I just had the best massage in this place that I must leave my own review to share my satisfaction and appreciation. I have been here for the past 3 or 4 years and I always go with therapist Aommy. I can’t tell anything in particular about her massage style/skill, but I just love every presses and kneading motions she makes. She is very consistent with the frequency of every motion so I always have equal amount of treatment on both sides of the body. Unfortunately she moved out of town and I stopped going here for a couple of months. Then I started with Emily. She didn’t leave a strong impression on my first visit with her. All I remember is: oh she applies strong pressure (and it hurts! in a good way). What made me leaves this review is my latest visit: a 90-min thai massage. I originally asked for 60-min thai + 30 min feet/hands, but totally forgot about that when I was in the session: it was so good, and so different!! She did spend more time on my feet and hands but didn’t necessarily keep the two sessions separate. When she’s done with my back and asked me to turn over I was like: what? This felt so short!! May I have more time plz. But the session continued to be delightful when I was lying down. There were so many different motions than the 60-min session!! I wish I can drown in this massage and never wake up. It felt so good that I almost burst into tears. But good things never last and my session came to an end. It’s over. Now it’s time to get dressed and pay. Ever since my first visit, I’ve recommended this place to every friend of mine who lives in Boston or visits Boston - and for those who went, no single one of them doesn’t love it. I wish their business continues to thrive and maintain the high standards of service they consistently provide ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m moving out of Boston but want to leave my happy review as a closure to all my visits here. I hope I can find another massage place just as good as this one.

I went for a 90min couples massage with my boyfriend at the Somerville location and we had a great experience. Service was excellent and they did a great job, we were so relaxed and free of muscle tension after the session. Definitely coming back every month.

This is a very traditional Thai massage. The masseur is a very experienced Thai and has a remarkable effect on relaxing muscles.
