Corey did a great job on my mani and pedi. She takes her time and doesn’t rush through like most of the nail salons out there. She is very sweet and personable making clients feel at home and comfortable. Her salon is professional and clean. I will be returning!

I had the best experience here at Slate Ridge Salon.. Cory did an excellent job on my hair ❤️ also I never had my eye brows done or lashes and all I can say is WOW AMAZING JOB .. I will definitely be back.. Thanks So Much Cory

Corey provides a professional haircut--much better than I had been getting at strip malls--and her fees are very reasonable. Corey is really able to open her soul to others. She had a very difficult childhood, and she has great empathy for less fortunate members of our society. She puts into practice the teachings of her Christian religion. I love the conversations that I have with her, although we certainly do not agree about everything. Each time I meet with her, I get a great haircut and a stimulating conversation. I found her salon a couple years ago, and I am extremely happy that I did.

Cory Birney is one of the sweetest women I have ever met and appreciates every customer and makes them feel welcome. She does a fantastic job at her work, she cuts your hair exactly how you want and doesn’t shy away from letting you pick and choose what all happens to the top of your head! I can’t tell you how many times another barber has gone razor happy all over the top of my head and made me feel like I wasted money, at slate ridge salon you don’t have that kind of issue with Cory, I’ve been going here for 2 years now and I can’t remember not liking a single one of my fresh new haircuts. She puts so much effort into making sure that your experience is the best experience and you come out looking exactly how you want, 10/10 money well spent!

Cory has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. My hair is thick and curly, she always cuts and styles it perfectly. Highly recommended.

Cory is a NATURAL at what she does! She cut my hair for my Senior pictures in 1998 before she ever went to school for it! She was BORN to do this! People go to her to FIX what places like Charles Penzones and Kenneth's MESSED UP! She really knows what she's doing and is very thorough and takes her time to do it RIGHT according to her clients expectations! It's a personal and welcoming experience everytime, whether it's a Manicure, Pedicure, Waxing, Facial, Haircut, Color or Style for day to day or that special occasion!

Cory is amazing. I love her salon. She always makes me feel welcome as well as my children. She does all our hair. Iv followed Cory from stylewise to slate ridge salon. She does an excellent job from hair to eyebrows to my lashes. I love this place.

I went to this salon on Tuesday the 16th and the owner was so quick to get me in! She is seriously the sweetest and so kind. I’m so happy with my eyelashes she truly did an amazing job! I feel so beautiful and would 10/10 recommend her to anyone I know! I’ve definitely found a long time stylist that I absolutely love!

I met Cory for the first time, she did a cut, color and wax. I had the best color and cut, she is a very warm, welcoming professional stylist. She made me feel welcome and like a long lost friend. Highly recommend if you want to feel pampered and spoiled!
