I’ve been with Skin Habit for over a year now and don’t see myself going anywhere else. They truly take great care of you. Yesterday, on my way to my facial appointment at their North Park location, the I-15 freeway was shut down due to a brush fire. I called to let them know about my situation, and the front desk (Judith) was kind enough to find a way for me to avoid rescheduling and paying the same-day rescheduling fee. Gia, I believe the manager, offered to take me in at a later time at their Pacific Beach location, even though their office was supposed to be closed by then. It was my first time at their Pacific Beach location, and it’s so much more spacious with plenty of parking (plus, the parking is complimentary). My facial with Gia was amazing! I walked out feeling so clean, especially after all the gunk built up from the dry SoCal weather. She took her time, was very gentle, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I have zero regrets joining their membership program and highly recommend it! Their product line is also top-notch!

I went in for my second facial at skin habit and Jocelyn provided a fantastic facial experience! She was professional, attentive, and customized the treatment to my skin’s needs. The environment was soothing, and Jocelyn’s expertise was evident throughout the session. My skin felt rejuvenated and radiant afterward. Highly recommend her services!

CHRISTA is beyond AMAZING, truthfully if I could give more stars I absolutely would! A couple weeks ago I went in for the Glow & Brightness 50 min + the Neck and Shoulder Massage & her attention to detail, the confidence in her craft, & her overall work ethic didnt go unnoticed. I left with my skin GLOWING like NO OTHER!! If you are looking for an esthetician who is well-rounded in everything she does and provides, then Christa is your girl! I will definitely be back because of her ✨

UPDATE: I have been visiting this salon since 2016 when Kristy (owner) had one shop in North Park and worked with one other person on some days. I was a big fan, and it was nice to have the second location for more options. I first found out about skin habit when I searched for salons that carried products that I used. I spoke to Kristy (owner) at length about the products and her vision on why she carried what she did. This was part of the reason that I was so loyal. So, when I made the decision to go fully “clean” with my products, I was excited to get her take and understand my options with the services at the salon. I called the salon and asked to speak with Kristy. I was told she was on vacation. I asked to have her call me when she returned. No call. I reached out again a few weeks later and a manager called me back. I asked to speak to Kristy as she is who I had had these conversations with over the years. Nothing. I tried one more time, and was told she was an owner and essentially had better things to do. I was shocked. This is the owner of a small business, who was frequenting locations the last time I was in. In fact, she did my service the last time I was in. Before scheduling, I wanted her take. This really bothered me because I really thought this business, and Kristy were different. I was mistaken. The services are still good, I’m sure. Though, the customer service is seriously lacking if customers are only important when they are paying. I am a small business owner myself and I know the value that my customers bring. As a long time customer, I simply wanted to have a conversation because I respected the owner and wanted to make a good decision for me. I truly hope that two managers made poor decisions, but given that I called two or three times, I’m guessing it is the culture. I will not be returning or referring this salon again. I hesitated sharing this, but ultimately I felt it was important. 2022: I had my first Dermaplane appointment with Angelina and I couldn’t be happier. Angelina was very sweet and super helpful. It was a great experience all around and I will definitely be back. I’m even more excited that skin habit has a second location, offering more availability!

My first experience at Skin Habit was wonderful! My esthetician walked me through everything for my facial, she was very calming and kind, and also very professional and knowledgeable. Skin Habit PB location is a gem and an amazing experience for anyone who is looking for that go-to quality skin love time! I wanted a monthly membership at a place that didn’t break the bank, promotes clean products (many Yuka approved) and overall keeps my skin in check and gets a reset to glow glow glow regularly. The asthetic of the location is super clean, the treatment rooms are relaxing and give great playlists during, and Maddie and Gia have taken care of me recently and they give such fabulous vibes you feel like you are getting treated by a friend who gives you all the inside tips to look your best! Look forward to returning each month :)

Skin habit has transformed my life. I have been going to Skin Habit since 2016 (at least) and I have been obsessed with skin care ever since. I went from constant painful breakouts to clear, glowing skin. Skin Habit is fully dedicated to make great skin care affordable and accessible to everyone. They are my number one spot for serious TLC, quick fixes, maintenance, and everything in between. I have never had a bad experience. The vibes are immaculate and every single esthetician is friendly, knowledgeable, and can offer personalized recommendations for products that you can purchase on site. Thoroughly recommend.

This was only my 2nd time going. I’m completely new to facials, skin care routines, and all things esthetics. However all the ladies who work here are kind, attentive and non judgmental. They helped me and explained everything thoroughly! I’m not sure how pricing compares to other places but I think it’s definitely worth it! Highly recommend if in the area!

WOW!!!! From a guys perspective these girls know how to make someone comfortable. Skin care can be intimidating but it was so much fun and I learned so much about what products I was missing out on. They were really informative during the treatment. They explain exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it. If you want to be truly relax and feel taken care of these girls know what’s up!!! I will be back without a doubt. See yall soon

Jocelyn, is AMAZING! I love how she spoke me through the process of what will go into my session, explaining the products being applied to my face and the benefits of each one, and familiarizing herself with the skincare products and routine I already use at home and recommendations to maintain my skin. My overall gold was to even out my skin texture, get a deeper cleanse for the clogged pores, and extraction. I felt so refreshed after…I am looking forward to my next appointment in December!
