All I can say is WOW!!! I flew in from Philly to take a KTip Extension class from Shu and she really did a phenomenal job with the class. She was extraordinary professional and informative. The hands on learning experience made me confident that when I left I will be able to return to my own salon and offer my clients a new luxury extension service. I am very particular about who I learn from and I can honestly say taking her class was one of the best investments in my education as a professional. She answered all of my questions with patience and positive attitude. I can only imagine if she gives this as an instructor how awesome she is behind the chair with her clients. This is the ideal salon to go to in Atlanta for hair care and luxury extensions!

I recommend this salon for anyone in ATL that wants reputable good service !!! I’d call ahead before going to make sure they’re open. I went Saturday after 12 and they were closed. But I call the number on the door and someone answered and within a few minutes stylist: Neek and I made an appointment for the same day. I opted for a traditional sew in and stylist: Neek slayed my hair!!! I have natural hair and she was very gentle. I bought my hair from them as well. Oh!! And guess what y’all a wash was included in the service!!! Love it! And I was able to pay via PayPal. It’s not like those other hoodlum places in ATL that’s trying to scam you. So take my word for it. Just book your appointment! You’ll be glad you did!

I’ve been coming to Shu before she had her own salon and her service has remained of the same quality and the prices very reasonable over the last 5+ years. Ive had natural hair my whole life and she has been able to maintain my hair, keep it healthy & I’m never disappointed. One of the best stylists in Atlanta hands down!!!

Ladies, this salon is a 10/10! The stylists at Shu and Co. are licensed, professional, and talented. A wash is ALWAYS included and your service is always accompanied with a free snack and good music (or a good show). It reminds me of the “old school” salon vibes with a touch of modern luxury. Aside from always receiving great service, the salon is always clean and everyone is always nice. I love that Shu is a very attentive stylist who goes above and beyond to ensure comfort. I always feel good spending my money here. I’ve been a long time client of Shu’s since she was doing hair in high school in Birmingham, and to see the brand growth has been amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the company! Book today!

Shu is amazing! Not only is she talented, and skilled, but she is humble and sweet. She appreciates her clients and does an excellent job in styling hair. Her shop is clean and located in a safe and desirable area and she offers complimentary snacks. This reflects her unyielding customer focus. I love that she is able to style older and younger women hair and make it age appropriate. I also appreciate her willingness to work you in, though it may mean her working extra long hours. I would highly recommend her!

Both me and my sister have been here. I wanted to like shi so bad but she is unprofessional. I had scheduled an appointment with her this summer. I had to cancel the first time but I went by her rules. I had an important event and needed my hair to be fixed/done. She canceled on me the day before. Then when I finally got in her chair she gave me what seemed like an extremely rushed service. She cut mymuch rcurly hair wet and didn’t want to wait to see how it would look when it was dry. It did not look good. I end else. But the real unprofessional issue was with my younger sister. She canceled on her before her photo shoot(she booked her appointment 2 months in advance) but she still rescheduled for after her photo shoot. then after rescheduling for the next week she made her reschedule again for the next day… then… the night before her appointment she asked her to come in at 8am instead of her 11am scheduled time my sister said no. When she got to her appointment Shu had her waiting in the chair for an hour. Even after all of that her hair still wasn’t up to par with what she wanted. She got a silk press and even after appointment she still had fluffy spots. It’s around 40 degrees outside so heat is not the issue. It’s obvious this hairdresser has a lot of important client that she would rather take care of the new clients and she has no issue canceling appointments that are booked way in advance or giving the bare minimum effort. She needs to either find a better system or stop taking so many clients and raise her prices. I’m an esthetician myself so I try to have sympathy for other beauticians but there is no excuse for what she has going on. Very unprofessional. I live in Inman and I’m one of the few black women that live here. I’ll never recommend her salon or services to anyone. If you aren’t important enough she will waste your time and she will give u a half a$$ job.

Consultations are $20 and are virtual. I paid a $5 deposit and scheduled a virtual consultation days in advance. I took the required photos and sent them per the instructions well in advance. On the day of the consultation (11/15), no one reached out until 9 hours after the scheduled consultation, asking if we could speak the following day. I obliged because of course I was super excited to try micro links. As you can guess, I never heard back. I followed up by text multiple times several days apart, I called and I tried DMing on IG. To date, not one word. It’s clearly not about the $5 since I was looking to spend hundreds of dollars on a hairstyle, but the principle has me floored! Super unprofessional. If you weren’t accepting new clients or were not available, you shouldn’t have people schedule. So disappointed on this one.

Shu is absolutely amazing and has transformed my hair! When I relocated to Atlanta I did not know where to go. I had heard great things about Shu and since my very first visit, I have been hooked! I have booked almost every service Shu offers from a basic blowout, to color, to i-tip extensions and I am blown away with how amazing my hair looks every time I leave her shop. The best part about receiving services from Shu and her staff is that maintaining the health and integrity of my hair is ALWAYS the main priority. HIGHLY recommend using Shu & Co's services! Shu is the Best! Was referred to her by a friend to install microlinks. I was skeptical at first because my hair is completely natural so Of course I was afraid of the idea of having my hair out with what I thought were just “clip ins” Shu did such an amazing job from the consultation to the install that,I instantly claimed her as MY hairstylist . And not to mention the new salon is phenomenal! Congrats shu ! I’m making my next appointment as we speak !
