I got my hair done by Emily and she is amazing! She added some natural highlights to my hair a month or 2 back, and I absolutely loved how it turned out. I’m already scheduled to see her again next week to go a little lighter. After expressing that I wanted to ease into the change and come back when I’m ready to go lighter she provided the exact results I was looking for at that time, so I am excited to see her again. If you’re looking for someone who truly listens and delivers exactly what you’re hoping for, Emily is a perfect choice!

I went to Emily a few times for haircuts and trims, and we talked about doing color as she told me she does it. I was excited because my experiences so far had been good. I finally booked a color appointment to go back to a previous color I had done, and Emily told me she could do it. After showing her my pictures of what I wanted, I was confident that she would be able to do what I wanted, which was add more red tones into my hair. After the process was over, she showed me the front of my hair but never showed me the back. I thought I liked it at first, but once I got home I realized that there was no red in sight, and it was all very brassy blonde highlights. It was very chunky and uneven in spots, and I was overall not so happy with the end result. I ended up having to go to a different salon to fix my hair. I would recommend really pushing for what you truly want in your hair journey!

I am always hesitant when finding a new place to get my haircut as the standard male barber shops tend to do the same haircut, no matter what you tell them. I walked in with no appointment and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Emily cut my hair and is not only fantastic with helping me pick a haircut that fits my aesthetic but also great to talk to while getting a cut. Highly recommend this salon and Emily. (The other ladies are very sweet too but Emily said I can't switch now)

I waited two years before having anyone touch my hair again. I went to see Emily and WOW did she do such an amazing job. I wanted just a bit of color before my wedding day and not only did she kill it, but she is now my new forever stylist. She walks you through each step and makes sure you both are on the same page. 10 stars🤗

Chey is the best! I was nervous to try extensions, but she was so kind, patient, and answered all my questions. Since she's skilled in so many different kinds of extensions, I was able to choose the method that suits me and my lifestyle best (we decided on itip). 10/10 would recommend her for anything hair-related, but especially extensions!

I haven't let anyone touch my hair in over 10 years (1 other person because I was out of state). I have always loved Cheyenne as a stylist and when she started working at hairacy, I was extremely happy with the environment/the way I am treated when coming in. The stylists are so fun and welcoming and I love the atmosphere. Highly recommend Cheyenne, even though im sure the other stylists are great 😉 Went back to specifically update this review after I got extensions from Cheyenne 😍😍 I will never allow anyone else to touch my hair. Highly recommend Chey for anything ever- but get extensions from her and I promise you won't regret it.

I traveled to Grand Rapids for a friend’s wedding but didn’t have time to get my hair colored the week before! I looked up appointments near the hotel for the morning of the wedding and Emily at Show Salon took me right in. She showed such hospitality and hair expertise. She colored my hair and did a quick updo as we chatted away. I felt so pampered and was absolutely wedding ready! Highly recommend for anyone in Grand Rapids for coloring, cuts, or updos!

I got a haircut & treatment from Chey and she was phenomenal! She listened to what I wanted and did such a great job on my hair - I got so many compliments! The salon overall is gorgeous too, such a nice space & everyone was so friendly! Cannot wait to get back!

I am definitely not someone to write a review often so when I do it’s because I was thrilled by said service. Emily cut my hair for me this afternoon and I am over the moon! As someone with long, thick and curly hair I hesitate at most salons because it’s more difficult to manage. Emily listened to everything I wanted and imagined and brought it to life for me! I am in love with the cut and the attention to detail she brings all while carrying out great and personable conversation! Super excited to say I have found my person for any and all hair transformations from here on out! 💕

I usually go to hailey and get shags on my wavy hair and occasionally some color, she always gets me right! I trust this place more than any other place I’ve been, I love it here! Prices are fair as well.

Emily was wonderful. She did a practice run and the day-of hairstyle for my wedding and did a great job! I was so pleased with the final result. She even practiced again in between based on feedback I’d given her at the trial to ensure I was happy with the style. She was also very kind and friendly and a great conversationalist! She did take a little longer with my hair than expected which put my bridesmaids a bit behind, but I appreciated the thoroughness of her work.

I just went in and got a perm from Emily! She is so fantastic and extremely personable, so fun just to have her doing my hair and she also did an excellent job with it! It came out great and I’ll be back to see her in a few months to refresh it :)
