I just moved to the area & needed to find a new hair artist, I’m so glad I chose to go here! Everyone was so nice & the space is lovely. Maggie is such a joy to chat with & did an excellent job on my cut! Can’t wait to go back, glad I found my new place! 🙂💅💗

Update, since it's been a minute: I slacked for a while with haircuts. Basically a couple of years. I decided that this year was going to be one where I practiced a bit more self-care. I went online a couple of months ago to book with my previous stylist, but she had left, so I looked around a bit and thought that Karrington sounded like she'd know how to help me get out of a rut. I was not disappointed. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and where I felt I was lacking with the day-to-day hair care. She gave me a haircut that I absolutely adored and some great pointers about how to keep my baby fine hair happy and healthy. I went back again today and was even happier with what she was able to do. She is an absolute godsend to the point where I'm booking my next appointment before I leave the salon, which I've never done in my couple of decades as an adult. Also, the whole team here is lovely. Walking in and being offered a variety of beverages and a comfy seat on a big plush couch is the perfect start to any sort of treatment. Original Review: I've been looking for a new salon for a little while now, since my old one closed after over a decade of going there. It had been a little over a year since my last cut and I was getting pretty desperate. A neighbor mentioned Shawn Paul Salon and I called to make an appointment. I really appreciated that the Micaela asked a bit about my hair and what I was hoping to do at that point. The salon uses that information to make sure you're seeing a stylist that's a good fit for what you want. Definitely an awesome little touch. I had my appointment with Alyssa yesterday. The salon is gorgeous and so welcoming. Everyone was so friendly and cheerful. Alyssa was absolutely wonderful. She had lots of questions about what I wanted to do with my hair and took her time to listen to what I was saying and what I was hoping for. I usually feel awkward seeing a new stylist for the first time, since conversation doesn't always flow, but my appointment flew by. I could not be happier with how my hair turned out. Alyssa also gave me some easy styling tips since I'm pretty clueless when it comes to doing anything beyond a quick blow dry. I'll definitely be back to see Alyssa when I'm ready for a trim and will be recommending Shawn Paul Salon to everyone looking for a salon!

First time in the salon yesterday (Saturday) and got my hair cut and colored yesterday by one of the stylists. Loved my hair in salon, but when I went out into the sunlight/other lightings I realized that it wasn't quite the color I was looking for! I called in to the salon this morning (Sunday) when they opened. The front desk girl, Marcy, was the kindest soul I've ever had the pleasure with interacting with. She did everything in her power to make sure I got in before starting my work week on Monday morning. She ultimately got me in with the owner, Vivian, who graciously agreed to take me after her last appointment of the day. Even though Vivian's work day was technically over, she was so patient while she worked with me to help me get my hair to what I wanted it to be. 2 hours later, I loved my hair! She even went outside with me to look at it in the natural sunlight to make sure it was the color I wanted. What could've been a horrible experience, these ladies made me feel so cared for and valued! I left loving my hair and an amazing reminder that there are amazing, kind people in this world! HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone and everyone (it's also freaking adorable inside). I know I will never go anywhere else!

Came here for the first time yesterday and I am looking forward to returning! Everyone in the shop was extremely kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Karrington gave me the exact cut I wanted and made me feel so beautiful! She did amazing with my curly hair. Would definitely recommend her if you are looking for the curly hair cut of your dreams! Please give this salon a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Shawn Paul Salon is an amazing and exceptional place, I truly believe that they are the best in Cleveland area. I have become their devoted customer more than a year ago, after I relocated to Cleveland from another country. My initial plan was to make a list of nearby salons to choose the most appropriate one for myself. But once I stepped into the Shawn Paul Salon, I understood that I don’t want to go anywhere else. This is a fantastic place with great Professionals and an extremely comfortable, warm and friendly atmosphere. In the beginning I was doing my nails with Karrington and my nails always looked so perfect and beautiful. Now, when Karrington has transferred mostly to the hair stylists team, Lily takes care of my nails, doing a great job, being very professional and efficient. Renee is my Stylist, and she is incredible both on professional and personal level. I love all Renee’s suggestions and ideas related to my hair color and style, and outcome of her work is always marvelous. I go to Char to do facials, and now I cannot even imagine that I could go to someone else. Iny my opinion, Char is one of the best and professional Estheticians I have met in my life (and I have a vast experience :). Char does magic things with the skin, making you look beautiful and feel happy. And of course my special thanks to the Front Desk Ladies (Emily was the one who first welcomed me as a new customer, and this first contact shaped my understanding that this is my place :)), they are always so supportive, positive, friendly, and attentive to every detail. Luckily, I live not far to this place, but I am sure that even if I weren’t too close, I would travel any distance to this place, no matter how much time it would take me :). In one word, highly recommend this place, you will never regret.

Shannon is incredible! She is an absolute perfectionist, and very obviously cares a great deal about the work that she does. Her station is kept extremely clean and tidy, and she is so caring throughout the service. We had a great discussion about my hair goals, looked at some reference photos together, and Shannon made sure that we were on the same page before we started. I felt heard throughout the entirety of the service. I cannot speak highly enough of her attention to detail, her kindness, and the quality of her service!

This salon is two minutes from my house and I wish I had discovered it sooner after I moved to town. I’ve had four gel manicures here with four different nail techs, and every single experience has been great. Love the atmosphere and Nespresso machine. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and everyone has impeccable attention to detail. The manicure Katy did for me last weekend is an absolute work of art - I cannot stop staring at how beautiful it is!

Been coming to Shawn Paul Salon for a while now and I love it here SO much. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The team is so friendly and incredibly sweet. I get my nails done here every 2-3 weeks, and my nail girls knock it out of the park every. single. time!!! Their retail area is full of cute stuff. There's even yummy sparkling waters or coffee to drink. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough.

Carey was absolutely fantastic. A wonderful experience. Friendly, patient, and attentive to details, she made a true effort to make the look I wanted happen. And my mirror suggested, I desperately needed. Everyone was kind and efficient, without the feeling of being in a rush to get to the next appointment. I get my hair, wax services and nails done here and I have never been disappointed in the slightest. The most professional advice and service in town and I will never go anywhere else. I got two haircuts here while living in Cleveland and they were the best I've had. They used any reference I had and took their time. My hair is 3A, and I have a lot. They were patient and attentive and they knew what I needed to achieve the look. I moved away and needed another hair cut and wow! I miss this salon!!!

I’ve been going here for 3 years now, and I would never go anywhere else. I’ve had Jen and Renee as my stylists and I highly recommend both! I was platinum blonde, which is never easy, and Renee took me to red and I’m always so happy with my results. Best salon in Cleveland!

My partner got a gel manicure and paid $80. The gel came off of her nails in 2 weeks, and they would not redo the gel saying that it should only last that long. The woman at Shawn Paul did not care about my partner's situation. Shawn Paul has a new owner that does not stand by their services. There are way too many good nail salons in the area that stand by their work. Go anywhere else!!

Worst customer service!!! I wasn’t told there’s a cancellation fee and there’s a girl called me i think her name is Lily or something said there is and she was mean and hang up the phone on me!! Not thinking of going there anymore! And not paying the cancellation fee that I wasn’t aware of for sure lol!
