Stephanie did a fantastic job. They were able to accommodate a same day appointment, and it wasn't due to lack of customers as they were pretty busy when we arrived. They have lots of things for kids to do to entertain themselves prior to and while they get their hair cut. Fast, efficient, and overall looked great.

We've brought our kids here every year(but one..and we shouldn't have strayed away), and it's been such an amazing experience. This isn't just a place for your kids to get a hair cut and hope they don't leave with a buzz here or an uneven cut from moving...these stylists have an almost unbelievable amount of patience and so many tricks to not only distract but actually entertain and interact while your kiddo is getting an amazing haircut. These ladies are all amazing, and the level of excitement my kid has on the days we are going to get a haircut is unreal. The kids have toys while they wait and balloons after they finish. They also have sucker's but are kind enough to ask the parents first(which is just another bonus). The best part is that the "chairs" are retired kids' cars(police car, fire truck, train, and a jeep), so it's not boring at any step. For a first cut, it's special as well as they get a photo and the lock of hair attached to the photo for a great keepsake. Bottom line, if you're looking for a first cut, trim, or an entirely new hairdo this is one of the best spots you can go to leave with a smile on everyone's face. Thanks for reading!

Everyone is always pleasant, the environment is calm and not overstimulating like some places, and very easy to reschedule and make appointments online. Well worth the drive and will continue going.

Stephanie is an amazing barber. She’s been wonderful for our son. We’ve been to a-lot of places but not go here every time. Give them a chance, you won’t regret it.

The stylist Stephanie was professional and personable to my daughter when she got her haircut and styled. She was kind and also offered advice for overall hair care for my daughter’s long hair. Would recommend the Sharkey’s experience to anyone!

This place is AMAZING! Stephanie does an incredible job. She is so patient and so kind while cutting my son’s hair! She goes the extra mile and will chat with him and make it an enjoyable experience for a six year old!!

We have been going here for 2 years for both of our boys who have very different hair types. Also, they can watch shows or play video games during Haircuts which is super helpful. Highly recommend!!

Have been to sharkey’s a couple of times, but after my experience today I will not be spending a dime there again. They have a 7 minute policy, if you’re 7 minutes late they cancel the appointment. my fiance made it there with our 2 year old 8 minutes after the appointment started. There was absolutely no understanding that he just hauled 35 minutes to them specifically because our son enjoys it. Stephanie has a bad attitude. It was going to “mess up her entire schedule” because he was 1 minute later than their policy and offered to do his hair an entire hour later. There was one other family in there getting their child’s hair cut, would have made absolutely no difference to cut his hair when he got there. Our son was heartbroken having to leave. Honestly glad it wasn’t me who had to experience that because words would have been shared! I feel shame for you!

It was our first time visiting Sharkey’s and we had a very bad experience. Our son is autistic and has a rough time with haircuts. The stylist was rushed and impatient. Worst stylist we have ever had. She made him feel even more uncomfortable and now he is stuck with an awful looking, choppy, and uneven haircut. My heart hurts for him. Parents should never have to feel this way at a place that’s supposed to be for kids. This place may been fine for kids without special needs but please don’t take your child here if they do.

Stephanie was very rude to my seven year old daughter who had her heart set on a pixie cut. She said she wasn’t comfortable doing the cut and almost turned us away. My daughter was crying before the haircut even began.

Unfortunately my rating has changed after our last two visits and I don't believe we will be going back. The only option to choose for a boy is wash cut dry and style. My son is 3 and we have never been even offered to wash when we go but yet I still have to pay for it. I did call and ask at one point to see if I could just pay for the cut rather than wash or style and was told no. I told them then I wanted a wash and dry every time, left my info for the following days appointment. My husband took him in and again...not even an offer to do so. I was told " if he wants it he can have one." Um, my toddler son isn't going to ask for it. I decided to give it another try and took my no 3 yo son in again. He is wiggly and hates the sound and feel of the clippers. He was happy to sit in the cars provided. The gal cutting his hair had zero empathy or patience. When he grabbed the wheel to pretend to drive she told him, " no I turned it off" and pushed him back into the seat. She seemed rushed and was clearly frustrated he wouldn't hold Still. I did help hold his head but the way she was rushing made him even more tense. At one point she said he was being dramatic. He's 3! Sharkys is very expensive for the quality of haircuts. But we have continued to go for the experience it gives our kids. But he was scolded for trying to play in the car chair provided and was made to feel very uncomfortable as was I. Now it is no longer even worth the experience. Lost a customer here.

I must say, it was amazing! The staff were incredibly patient with the kids, making the experience stress-free for both parents and little ones. From colorful chairs to friendly stylists, every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Not a great cut go for young kids first haircut but over all there is a reason this is where the ones that can’t make it in the a real salon work

Took my son for his first haircut. We were the last ones in there before closing and did not feel rushed. Kids got a balloon and favorite show to watch. Haircut on a moving toddler turned out great. Recommend.

I’m so disappointed in my daughter’s haircut. She has very curly hair and we just wanted a tiny trim. If I didn’t know better I would think she used her scissors on her hair. Her curls won’t lay like they did before her haircut, it’s uneven, and there are spots where it looks like hair is missing. I wish if the stylist wasn’t comfortable with curly hair, she would have said something beforehand.

We started bringing our son to Sharky's when he was about 2 years old. He was the kid who was terrified of haircuts so of course we decided to try the place with all of the awesome distractions and we are so glad that we decided to give them a try. Not only do they have lots of amazing distractions for kids who are a little nervous getting their haircut but they have some amazing staff that know how to work with nervous parents and extra nervous kiddos. They make you feel like you're not alone when your kid is losing his mind over having to sit still and get his hair trimmed. Lol. They are very good at knowing how to move quickly and still do a fantastic job. Keep in mind that they are still humans and they are doing their best to cut the hair of a screaming scared child, so if not every hair is cut in the perfect place it's understandable. However, my child is now five and we continue to go. He now sits perfectly and has become very close with his hair stylist and we could not be happier. And he never has a hair out of place. Thank you, Tianna, for being the absolute best every time we come in! You do an amazing job!
