My husband got me a gift card for Christmas last year, and decided to finally use it! I called to make an appointment because there were a couple options I could choose from for the price point of the gift card. I opted for the “My Birthday Ritual,” which included a food scrub, 60 minute massage, 60 minute facial and lunch. This was my first experience having a “spa day” so I was super excited to finally get to relax and be pampered. My appointment was at 11 o’clock, but the girl on the phone had informed me to come at least 30 minutes earlier to do intake forms and to get dressed into a comfy robe and slippers. I showed up around 10:30 for my appointment, the two girls at the front desk were super nice, and the overall atmosphere was super relaxing. I was sat in the Zen Room to pick my lunch options and complete my intake forms, and then shortly after my massage therapist came in and he did my foot scrub and told me he would be doing my massage also. He was super nice, soft spoken and it made me feel a little better because this was my first spa day and my first time getting a massage. When the foot scrub was done, he walked me back into the massage room and explained that his massage was medium pressure and all of that. Well, my session was cut short for whatever reason and I was walked back to the Zen Room. I was informed I was going to get some money comped from my services, and then they offered me some time in the sauna. They were super apologetic and nice for comping me for the missed time on my session, but I can’t say that I wasn’t a little disappointed because this was my first massage ever and I was looking forward to it. Other than that, my services continued with my facial and it was Joslyn who did my service and it was amazing. Overall, my first experience went well other than there being yelling children every now and again and some ladies talking very loudly about their personal life. I am still a little disappointed my massage was cut short, but oh well. I don’t know if I would ever come back.

I bought a gift certificate for my wife and I like the box provided, much better than just an envelope. Hopefully she’ll have a relaxing enjoyable experience here.

The customer service here is incredible - very professional and kind. The facility offers a great meditation area while you wait for your service. My experience with a facial and 90 min massage was great. I will be going back.

I like this place in general, nice and neat but I was very disappointed with $145 massage yesterday. I would not even called that a massage because it felt like I was just laying down there for 60min and got gentle stroked my skin. Even when i asked more pressure, nothing changed. Booked massage with a stone but felt 2 min in total stone’s movement. Tried to call and explained my experience after but all I got was we’ll put a note for your next visit. Umm I don’t think I’ll come back after that experience first of all. Anyways, was not worth that money, i know the difference, used to do massage once a month.

I booked a 90 minute Reiki as a bday treat for myself, once I arrived both staff members were chatting and I did not receive a greeting, I had to wait for them to finish the conversation to be acknowledged. When I was taken to the “Zen” lounge, to fill out paperwork I could not relax at all, hearing two other clients chatting so loudly, about personal stuff even though signs are up to keep talk to a minimum. Then when my massage therapist confirmed my service they had me down for only 60 min not 90 which I was so dissapointed in. She was so awesome and my massage was great, but during the session I could hear the construction next door. It was not a luxury experience for me.

Amazing staff, beautiful place very neat and clean, and they offer prenatal massage. I loved it when I was pregnant. I am going there for post natal massage now, as my body is achy all the time because I lift my baby a lot on one side. I went there for Stress Fix massage, and it was amazing. Staff is really professional, ZOHAR was amazing, she was really kind, considerate massage therapist. Although, I need more sessions to release all those knots and stiffness in my body. I definitely recommend her for deep tissue and stress fix massage.

My fiancé gifted me a “My Birthday Ritual” package for my birthday, and I had a wonderful experience at Serenity in Folsom. Everything from the cleanliness to the quality of services/products to the staff was 10/10. I’ve been to many spas, and I will definitely be going back to Serenity! Special shout out to the esthetician Jocelyn who did my facial - she was fantastic! The whole place has great energy to it. Thank you Serenity!

After trying out a number of other massage spots around the area I found Serenity - and John - and haven't looked back. Both myself and my husband come here every month because he is so amazing at deep tissue massages. I cannot recommend him enough and the space is beautiful and calming.

I came into the spa a couple of months ago and saw Kaehlon for a facial and it was the best facial I've ever gotten. She did an amazing job and I felt so relaxed. I can't wait to come back soon for another service from her.

I got a 90 minute stress relief massage today. My massage therapist was named Angel. He was amazing! Firm when needed, gentle when needed! It was so relaxing and one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I will be back and I will request Angel again!

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, however, their "covid" changes made me reconsider my rating. They're now closed on Sundays & Mondays, knowing most ppl can only go to a spa on weekends, AND they also close super early on weekdays at 6pm, knowing most ppl don't get off work until 4 or 5, so they can't ever book a 1.5 hour or even 1 hour massage! Especially if they work far away. It's ridiculous. So if you work M-F & don't get off till 4 or 5pm (& don't work right down the street from them), the only time you can come here is Saturdays, but not even then because it's always fully booked! Even if you try to book a week or 2 weeks out, because it's the ONLY time they're really able to accommodate *working ppl*. It's an awesome place, but they're limiting their customers SO much now, making it practically impossible to book anything unless you book like a month out. I've also recommended this place to other ppl who can't get in, either. They need to AT LEAST stay open on Sundays or until 7 or 8pm on weekdays. Most people work full time jobs during the week, & have actual medical reasons for needing to go to a spa, so they need to be more reasonable with their hours. We shouldn't have to take a day off & lose a full days wage just to be able to get a massage or facial. I also think it's a bit shady that they let employees & their friends & family members write 5 star reviews to boost their rating, & interestingly all the 1 & 2 star ratings they got AFTER Covid have mysteriously disappeared...

Serenity spa is the place to get a massage in Folsom. Working in a physically demanding field, I have come to rely on a regular massage. I have had a few therapists, but since landing on John, I wouldn't change again. He has been the best thing for these sore muscles. Professional, talented, and easy to get along with are the skills he brings to the table.

This is my second massage with John at Serenity in Folsom. He is an amazing therapist who goes above & beyond. He works with you throughout the massage to insure that you are comfortable snd staying relaxed. He also incorporates stretching as well as deep tissue release when necessary. I am already looking forward yo my next massage.

What a great place to visit. At the Folsom location I had a Stress Fix massage that was wonderful. The spa is clean and that staff are so friendly! I have also been to yoga nidra that was incredibly relaxing. I’ve been to a Tibetan monk workshop at the Roseville location that was very informative. I absolutely plan on going back for more massages, other services, classes, and workshops as my schedule allows.

I originally received the Rainforest Waterfall Ritual at the Roseville location and gave it a 1 star review. A couple of weeks later a received a call from Andrea the manager. We chatted and I shared in more detail why I had a bad experience. Andrea shared that the therapist who did my treatment at the Roseville location did not follow the correct process which resulted in a bad experience for me. She offered me a complimentary treatment at the Folsom location which I accepted. I was not expecting this but this just shows they truly care about customer satisfaction. This experience was night and day. Desiree was my therapist and she did great. Excellent hard pressure massage where my body needed it but relaxing at the same time. It was then followed by an exfoliating scrub and the same followed once I turned over once, not 5 times like the first time. I was able to relax even though we made small talk which I enjoyed. She always asked if I was comfortable and if the massage pressure and water temperature was right. Desiree is very experienced and I am now planning to return and treat myself again for my birthday.

I enjoyed this spa. Really beautiful and relaxing. The hot stone massage was wonderful!!! My ONLY complaint is that at least where I was the walls are thin and you can hear the person next to you. I personally don't talk and want to enjoy the moment, I know some people like to talk. So for me that would the only thing I disliked.

I love this place! I love the know-how they have about the massages, I love the peace that surrounds the walls, the clean perfumes that I breath, and the time that I spend taking care of my health. I can't wait to try also the yoga, and to be back for more massages. I know that the cost is pretty high, but I prefer to go to a place where I will find a good, clean, and welcoming environment with top professionals, rather than going to places that are almost equally expensive and where they cover you up in cheap oils and they just "pretend" to do a massage! ❤️

I was treated to a massage for a late Christmas gift. I was super excited to have a relaxing time at the spa. The outside appearance will draw you in. You walk in to be greeted by items for sale. They have holistic crystals, candles, face care and more. You check in for yiur services at a two person desk. After you're checked in the front desk person leads you into the lounge. Which has low lighting and relaxation vibes. While you wait they offer water and trail mix. Once they take you for your service, you're lead down a hall to your room. The massage and Indian head massage was wonderful. Felt very relaxed and got some relief. I did dislike how loud it was. I kept hearing doors open and close throughout my service. People were also laughing and talking loudly outside my room. Another negative was that during my massage, the lighs were left on, not my preference. I'd definitely go back but there were some things that weren't amazing.
