I experienced my first facial at Seraphina this week, and Brendalee is magic! She explained the elements of the facial and what I would experience. There was a great balance between application of products and massaging of the face, neck and arms. The products were thoughtful and addressed the concerns of my skin. She also did a wonderful job moving between soft pressure and deeper pressure during the facial massage as needed. I highly recommend Brendalee for a facial at Seraphina.

Waited a whole year to go there and the day me and my husband were coming up for our 10 year anniversary we got stuck in a 2 hour traffic jam on I-94 because a box truck ran into an emergency vehicle and there were several other trucks crashed. I missed my appointment and they wouldn't let me reschedule it when we finally got to the hotel and charged me anyway AND won't refund my money. Horrible customer service, the manager didn't even contact me for DAYS afterwards and still refuses to give me my money back.

I recently had the most incredible spa facial at Seraphina Spa, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was serene and welcoming, immediately putting me at ease. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring that I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience. The facial itself was divine. The esthetician, Brendalee, used high-quality products tailored to my skin type, and each step was explained thoroughly, which I appreciated. The gentle exfoliation and soothing masks left my skin feeling rejuvenated and glowing. The facial massage was particularly relaxing, melting away any stress I had. By the end of the session, my skin looked radiant and felt incredibly smooth. I also received some great skincare tips to maintain the results at home. Be vocal when getting a massage. If the person massaging you is being too rough tell them to be more gentle. I made the mistake of not saying anything and my shoulders have been hurting a week straight since the massage and that’s very unusual for me because my regular massage therapist never causes any pain and I see her once a month. I had a guy at this spa and he wasn’t very gentle when this wasn’t supposed to be a deep tissue massage. I probably won’t be back to the spa. Just let them know when it’s painful and you’ll probably have a better experience than I did.

I recently just purchased a custom facial for my mother for her birthday. I am glad That she had a great time. Thank you to the staff and the technician Brenda Lee for Giving my mother an amazing experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*Edit: it has now been a week and a half after this happened I have yet to hear from the spa director as their response below said I would* After having a reaction to the first step of the facial; my technician offered we switch to another treatment (body wrap). While the second treatment was good I was shocked that I wasn’t comped for the mishap and damage done. I had to *ask* to be comped and was given a measly 15%. The manager then left the poor front employee to deliver this news. This is not acceptable business practices for a high end spa. The manager herself should have addressed the issue with me and the second service should have been comped. The technician did all she could so I do not blame her, rather the poor handing by management. Be warned of the products (green envee) they use for facials. While I use a retinoid this is common these days and I let the esthetician know this. I also have had several facials in the past without issue. Looking at the ingredients there are some powerful essential oils that could absolutely cause chemical burns which is what I suspect I got (redness, stinging and puffiness/inflammation that has lasted so far >2.5 hours). I can only hope this burn resolves quickly.

I took my girlfriend here for a massage. Atmosphere was a very nice everything was good I asked my masseuse if he could go light to medium and he ended up doing deep on my legs which hurt. I had asked him to go lighter two times. I still would like to make future appointments to find my go-to masseuse. Tim was my go-to and was exceptiona but he is no longer working there anymore

Online it said a massage for two would be $170. I booked it online. When I spoke to the receptionist before arriving she advised that the system only books for one person although it’s called massage for two and that it would be $400 for a massage for two. Extremely excessive pricing. Not to mention that I had called for about two days before I even heard anything back no one answers the phone their website barely works and apparently is extremely inaccurate.

Cait in the spa was amazing. She was so sweet and professional in making sure our experiences was exactly what we needed for a girls weekend. Laura also was fantastic therapist and can’t wait to make another massage appointment with her. The rooms were to clean and peaceful and the view was also amazing! If you want a great lash artist, Brandi is the absolute best! She is Xtreme lash certified and does the BEST volume lashes in Grand Rapids. I’ve been to a lot of different salons and lash bars, but Brandi does it better than anyone. She is fast, flexible and knows everything there is to know about lashes and how to care for them. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I just finished our couples massage and we both feel incredibly relaxed and refreshed! Anna and Laura did a fantastic job! They asked how we were doing, if more or less pressure needed to be applied, and made sure to address the "problem" areas we mentioned at the start. We really cannot say enough about our experience! We will recommend to anyone and will definitely be back :)
