Antonia was my stylist and she was amazing!! I fully lightened my hair and got highlights as well. It took about 5 hours and she did a great job the whole time! My hair is super dark black and I have lots of it, but she took great care of it. I love the base color she did on me and the highlights really complement it. The other stylists were very welcoming and kind as well! The price was great as well considering other salons I have been to have charged me similarly, but for highlights without the full color. Prices for future retouch appointments are very reasonable as well. I'll definitely be coming back! And will recommend to friends since they love my hair too teehee

I can’t believe I haven’t wrote a review. Kelly is incredible I’ve been going to her for 4-5 years. She’s very knowledgeable and does an amazing job. My husband goes to here too. She’s been in our life for all life events. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding and did an absolutely beautiful job. I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt on my big day. To now she will for sure give my daughter her first haircut when her hair is long enough. Thank you Kelly for always being so awesome. I added some wedding pictures her and her staff did amazing.

I did myself a favor by spending a few extra dollars for my haircuts (compared to the chain salons), and now I get fabulous, consistent, personalized service! The stylists and staff know what they're doing at Schwahn Salon - - I couldn't recommend it more!

I felt compelled to review as a black woman with very fine kinky curly hair. This is the ONLY salon I am comfortable getting my hair done. I flew from out of state for two years to get my hair done here specifically. I’ve never felt comfortable getting my hair done ANYWHERE else. Highly recommend to women of ALL hair types. Just communicate and be up front with what you’re looking for. My hair is the healthiest, longest, prettiest AND straightest it’s ever been. It also looks amazing curly, I just find my straight hair easier to manage. Aside from the phenomenal quality of work, everyone who works here is a genuinely wonderful human being. I will never go anywhere else 🤍 Attached is a photo of my hair freshly done today.

Never been so disrespected in my life. I was there for about 3 hrs and they made me pay extra for their inconvenience and on top of that my hair wasn’t done right. I was just in a hurry to get out of there because it was Easter Sunday. If you are black don’t go there, this guy Michael will try to mansplain why your hair costs $150 more than the set price. I’m an engineer and he really tries to explain to me how numbers work

I went for an layers cut, booked an appointment with Antonia, she was the least experienced person but she was so good at what she does, the way she washed the hair making sure that her nails don’t hurt my scalp was appreciated, she gave a beautiful head massage and her fingers were magical, on the floor she took the time to talk and see my requirements are and passed on her suggestion, gave me confidence when I wanted to go more shorter but she then suggested that much losing the inches won’t be necessary to attain what was needed which surprised me Had a nice experience overall, Kelly was sweet and very inviting, her husband too. The place itself had a nice vibe and people treated you well. Nothing to rush or having something on their mind when they were having a busy day but taking the time to make every single one of them important was really impressive. I have not reached the nice part yet They offered a redo at no cost since I was a first time client if in case Iam not satisfied with the haircut or if I had some Change of heart and wanted to do more or something different after the haircut was completed and the time limit given was within 2 weeks getting the hair cut, I mean no body in the past 13 years of my life in AZ had offered me this chance, I mean like I have been to a top salon in downtown Scottsdale to Aveda institute in Tempe, there is not a place that I have not tried, I love exploring options, coz I keep moving places even if it’s within Phoenix and even if I had find a good place for the haircut, I love exploring and I won’t be disappointed if I don’t get good results. It’s just my nature. Then within a week I felt to have little tweaks here and there, I was given an appointment with the master stylist Kelly herself and she had the big heart to spend few min for me. I mean like it might sound nothing and not a big deal but to allocate the time even if it’s a few min that’s really nice. Really appreciate it and their work was phenomenal. I am done changing stylist and settled for good with Schwann. I even tried with their another stylist Allie for the second time and she did an amazing haircut for me. I love the fact that there are not too many stylists in the salon and it’s kind of personalized. They do remember you, they study you and they understand how you like it and how you want it. They are the best!!

Was referred to Allie and could not be happier! Making an appointment online was super simple. When I arrived to the salon, I was greeted at the front desk and immediately offered water. She even asked if I wanted cold water or room temperature! I was asked to fill out a quick questionnaire. On it, they ask if you'd prefer a social experience or a quiet relaxing one. I talk all week long for work so I was thrilled that I could just sit and relax for the hour! Allie came and greeted me right on time. She was so friendly! She took her time asking what results I was hoping for. She did an amazing scalp massage during my shampoo. And then really took her time on the cut. She did a blow dry and styled my hair. She let me know I could call her directly if after leaving, I wasn't satisfied for any reason and needed a touch up. As soon as I got home, I texted all my other friends recommending Schwan and Allie. I can't wait to go back to get my hair colored. Thank you again for an amazing experience!

Beautiful salon with wonderful stylists! I’ve been coming to this location for almost a year and I’m consistently impressed with the services they provide. If you’ve ever heard of, (or been to) Juut, this salon provides the same level of care and attention to detail that they do there. Allie and Kelly are both so welcoming and easy to talk to. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and I would recommend this place to everyone!

I cannot stress enough how amazing Schwahn Salon is. The women there are the friendliest. Schedule your appointment with Shannon; I swear, she must be a wizard! The very first time I went, they rescued my hair after it had become unbearably tangled due to depression/chronic illness. And every time I've went since, they work their magic. Spectacular haircuts and even better coloring!!!! Went back last week to get my hair dyed black and red, and it is even better than I imagined. Simply adore this place, they are truly great artists who care for their clients. Best salon in the Valley, period.

My stylist was Antonia. Very pleased with her personality and the hair cut. Also she was helpful on why my silver hair was turning yellow and gave me helpful suggestions. I will return. The staff was also very pleasant.
