I am traveling for work in the Denver/Aurora area. I found Sassy Shears through Google. She was able to get me in the same day for a perm,roller set and to shave the sides and back. I wear my hair longer on the top and shaved on the sides/back. When I got there she said she would even my hair where it had previously broken off from the color I had on it. She also said she could do a color rinse to bring out the bronze and browns. By the time I left she had cut most of my hair off and colored it burgundy black. When I saw it I said you colored my hair burgundy. She was like do you like it? No I don't. I think I left in shock. I even gave her a tip. I don't think I realized how much she cut off until a few days later. When I see the color in the mirror I just cry. We never discussed anything she did to my hair. She literally did the opposite of everything we did discuss (besides the perm). I would be very leery of going to this shop/beautician. I would not recommend it. I would not want anyone else to experience what I experienced. It was truly heartbreaking.

Beware. She violated me by running a perm twice fully through my hair when I specifically asked her not to, because I knew it would over process my hair. I just wanted a touch up to have manageable texturised hair. As she was doing it she said, “you don’t tell the doctor how much appendix to remove.” Sorry to inform you are not a doctor. You are not even a hair doctor that cares about the health of hair. Your concern is dollar signs. My thick mid back hair length is now broken off. She not only damaged my hair, but charged me a fortune to mess it up. I agree scam alert!

Been coming here 7 years now and I would never go anywhere else. My hair is healthy and easily manageable due to the great healthy hair care Sassy Shears provides!

I was very happy with my hair after relax and trim. Was not happy being charged $65 for 8oz of oil that I did not ask for. She said she was giving me an oil but alas it was not true giving 🙄🙌. The total cost for my hair was $265. I am still waiting to be told what relaxer was used in my hair.

Professional, timely, courteous, knowledgeable. A fantastic experience! I was not there all afternoon and I got exactly what I wanted. My hair is silky, soft, shiny, and smooth. I can't wait for it to be down my back!

Stephanie is a great stylist and the atmosphere is very peaceful. I loved my hair cut but it can get a bit pricey.

I have been with Sassy Shears for 3 years. I’m from Indiana and didn’t know where to go. I was getting braids and extensions until I met Stephanie. We prayed and she prayed over my hair great blessings and oil treatment was the best. I will not go anywhere. I’m there for life.

I moved from out of state and was looking for a stylist. My previous stylist bleached and relaxed my hair. It was brittle and unhealthy. Sassy Shears is the best salon hands down! My hair is growing, shiny and healthy. I started bringing my daughter and her hair is manageable and in great condition. Sassy Shears is an upbeat and professional salon. The team is knowledgeable and explains how to provide the best hair care between salon visits. I would recommend Sassy Shears again and again. I love my stylist!!

Stephanie is the sweetest! She was always kind and did my hair good, I referred my mom to start seeing her and years later our hair is still thriving. People don’t realize even when you are seeing a hairdresser you still have to maintain your hair in between visits. Stephanie teaches you how to do so. Thank you so much 😊

My daughter got her hair done at another salon and she ended up not liking the hair cut. She felt it was too short. I took her to Sassy Shears for a new style and to restore her confidence. The experience greatly lifted my daughters spirits! Mrs. Stephanie was patient and kind with my daughter. We also came up with a plan to combat her breakage and get her hair growing back. We had a wonderful experience and we will be back to Sassy Shears.

Scammer alert!!! Came in because they advertise natural hair care on FB. However, the owner did none stop pressuring me for a perm. When I said I can't affordable it to get her off my back she told me a different stylists would be doing my hair instead. Then the owner wouldn't honor the price advertises on her website for $65 wash, blow dry & cut. Charged $85 Onwers person products was out of stock. Not to mention they used grease, gel, hair spray & other damaging chemical products on my hair. The stylists I got pass off to was pleasant but still learning but I still had to pay $85 not returning for more miss treatment.

The service is exceptional! I started here 1 year ago with bald spots. This is hands down the best salon experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been natural off an on again due to bad experiences with salons and my hair breaking off after getting it relaxed, but this has been a completely different experience all together. My hair looks amazing and healthier than ever relaxed and Stephanie does a really amazing job. HIGHLY recommend this salon, especially if you’re particular about who you trust your hair with.
