They have no understanding for unexpected happenings in customers lives. I tried to cancel an appointment morning of with a valid reason, hoping they had at least a one time free cancellation or rescheduling as a courtesy to regular customers but they did not. A little disappointing. I understand why they have the rules they do, but I think it is good for businesses to have a little grace with their regular customers as an appreciation for their continued support. I love the waxing but a little disappointed in this service.

I have been getting my brows done by Aylaree and she has done an amazing job with my brows and everything else! I also got my nose waxed as well as my legs and she was very professional, quick and gentle with it. 5/5 stars I would recommend!

I saw Aylaree, She is amazing she makes it so comfortable and is so fast. I definitely recommend going there!! the atmosphere is amazing and welcoming as soon as you walk in!

Naomi who waxes me is the best I've ever been to! She is fun and funny. She makes good conversation. She even helped me with my ingrown hairs! I've been to many many places through out different states. Never been to an esthetician as good as her! She deserves a huge pat on the back and even a raise at this point! You have a customer for life as long as she is there.

Great atmosphere upon entry. The Esthetician who took care of me (Aylaree) did a great job. She talked me through my service, and was kind and pleasant the entire time. It was essentially painless, and I am beyond happy with my results. I will definitely be returning.

The esthetician is was wonderful. She talked me through it all. She was kind & gentle. The staff were very professional and discreet. Izabel is so wonderful. I always feel relaxed and comfortable with her.

Callie was amazing! So friendly and very respectful. She made sure I was comfortable and understood the process. The receptionist was also lovely. The facility is immaculate and comfortable, and it feels high-end for a reasonable price point. I would definitely go again!

Have been going to Sassasafras for years! Quick friendly staff 😊 have tried other places closer to home, but Sassafras is definitely worth the drive compared to anywhere else! Highly recommend ❤️❤️

I would have to say the woman that I had was very professional. She did an amazing job she made me feel very comfortable and I’ve had her before and she does just a great job. I would recommend this to anybody, especially when you have a place where people act very professional I feel like that makes you feel safe, especially because they’re wax in your body

Booked a last minute Brazilian at Sassafras and was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it! Callie made me feel safe and confident while providing a smooth wax service. Would highly recommend!

Didn’t work & I followed instructions. You can tell immediately after if it’s good and this was not. Treatment phases were only on there for 5 min per phase (should’ve been 8-12…12 because that’s what I told her worked best for me before). Didn’t tint the lower lashes. Didn’t shape the brows or even ask. Polite person though!

I've been going to Sassafras for years for waxing. This week, I decided to try sugaring for the first time. I had a very disappointing experience - after the initial rash reaction died down (normal), I noticed I was left with a lot of hair on my legs, they don't feel smooth at all and there are entire patches where the hair was missed. I called asking for a refund/partial refund, or a credit toward a further appointment and was told they would only give a refund if I can come in to the salon. I'm leaving on vacation for over a week (hence the sugaring) so I'm unable to go in, and they said too bad, no refund or even partial credit. It's a bummer that a business is willing to lose a loyal customer over the cost of one poorly done sugaring appointment. I won't be returning here again.

The young lady at the front desk was so helpful as I am out of town and needed a last minute appointment. Once I arrived I was welcomed and greeted in a clean bright facility! The technician was amazing and friendly and made my experience enjoyable! My wax and skin feel great!

Went to Sassafras after a horrible experience at a local wax chain. To be frank, I was extremely afraid of getting another Brazilian. I arrived at Sassafras and was scheduled with Izabel. Izabel was absolutely amazing. She talked to me the entire time and took breaks when I needed them. She checked to make sure I was good to go before laying the wax each time. She was extremely friendly and empathetic. Afterwards she talked to me about upkeep and how to care for my skin after waxing. I am actually excited to go for another wax because I know I won’t be afraid this time lol thanks Izabel!!!!

10/10. I’ve got 2 gals I go to here at the downtown location and they both are amazing Callie and Izabel. They both always give great vibes.. Quick smooth and painless as possible they make it a great experience everytime. If I could rate their customer service it’s always 10/10. Best in the city Hands Down

Per my last review: I called 7 hours prior to my appointment stating that I wasnt sure if I was going to make it. Unfortunately in my line of work my schedule is subjective. It wasn't last minute nor was I rude when I spoke to the receptionist. It is almost criminal that you would charge the whole amount for a service that wasn't performed. Isn't that what the deposit is for? Also it seems that you spend more of your time making snarky comments and invalid comments on reviews rather than running your business better. Thank you and I hope you get a better attitude

Recently got my first wax at Sassafras. Naomi is amazing! Loved the service she really helped coach me through. I love my results!! I'm pretty sure they have a regular :)
