I had the pleasure of having Pauline providing my waxing services! I was getting my first bikini wax and she informed me really well and guided me through the process. I really appreciate her and went back to her for my second wax, and now I plan on going with Pauline every time!

This is a nice option if you’re looking for waxing services. The ladies are nice and mostly understanding. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star review is that most of the times, I feel rushed and have always found patches of hair that were missed during the wax.

Amiah is the best! She always makes me feel so comfortable, I love how fast but thorough she is! She is super educated in after care/homecare as well and has helped my skin improve inbetween waxes.

My first wax appointment here was the best! All the staff are so friendly and my appointment with Amiah was wonderful. She is super sweet and talked me through everything and answered all of my questions so well. She talks through any after-care and suggestions she has and she is super responsive later if you have questions days after! Highly highly recommend seeing Amiah!

Best brow shaping I've had! Also most painless!! My brow girl was so sweet and created a relaxing vibe. It was a very cute and pleasant atmosphere to be in, and it made me look forward to coming back! $25 a month for perfect brows is unbeatable! I signed up online and there were no extra hidden fees for my appointment! I was so pleased!

My first appointment with Salt Wax Society in Downtown SLC was amazing!!! I have sensitive skin and usually have very painful waxing experiences. But, I must say, my waxing experience here was the LEAST PAINFUL ONE EVER! In Australian wax they have two options - hard wax and soft wax, they do a test patch on a small portion of your skin with both the waxes to identify which one works better on your skin. Accordingly, they suggest and help you make a decision. Post that, just lie back and enjoy while you get all the unwanted hair removed from your body. Extra care is taken about following hygiene procedures. I highly recommend Ellen and Clarissa for waxing. It will be worth your money and time.

Kristen Lemon is the best waxer! In the past, my leg wax has left me with stubble rather than smoothness, but Kristen works some kind of magic and gets my legs baby smooth. She makes me feel so comfortable, makes me laugh, and I have smooth skin that lasts.

Ali freakin KILLS it. I adore her and her work is awesome! I will follow her where ever she goes. I’ve been a member for almost 5 years. Some months when there’s turnover it’s spotty as they train people to have the same service everytime. If there was a suggestion- it would be a room with an automatic rising waxing bed to help with accommodating clients that have a hard time getting on the table.

I have been coming to this wax spa for 4 years and I always recommend this place to all my girl friends. I’ve seen many of the waxers and they are all phenomenal. I have never had a bad experience. The environment is so positive and empowering. Love them!

Oh my Gosh…! Salt Lake Wax Society and Clarissa are a total Godsend! Literally, I’m getting married in 3 days and needed a miracle and this was it!! Clarissa somehow fit me in for 4 services!!! Salt has been family to me, since the first time I walked through the door. That was three-and-a-half years ago. During that time, there have been a few times where I thought there was no possible way they could ever get any better. Obviously, I was wrong each time I thought that. They ALWAYS find a way to get better! And that starts with Monique — the owner, rock star, queen, and genuinely the most remarkable woman you will ever meet (if you’re lucky enough to meet her, of course… she’s a business owner, entrepreneur, mother, wife, and so much more!) Monique finds the most exceptional human beings on earth, helps them master what she calls “the salt way” (which is next level, uses a combination of soft and hard wax, and gets EVERY single hair in the most painless and quick fashion imaginable), and then has them run the show. I have no idea how the most extraordinary people alive are found in the Salt Lake Valley (sometimes by way of Vegas — I’m looking at you, Kristen and Bianca), but it’s not hyperbole to say that! They are all brilliant and magnificent in their own unique way! My most recent visits have been with Kristen, and getting to know her has made me wonder if she’s actually real! There’s no good way to describe or explain that! You’ll have to meet her, and see for yourself! Everything she does is flawless! And I’m pretty sure she is also a PHD Clinical Psychologist, moonlighting as an esthetician! Her brain might be more incredible than her physical tools or esthetics skills! If I haven’t convinced you to try Salt by now, I never will! But I have to tell you to give Salt a shot, one more time! Book your next wax, brow tint, lash lift, etc. with Salt, right now! It will be the smartest decision you’ve made in a long time!
