Audrey is not only one of the most talented and skilled hair stylists I have met, but she is also one of the kindest and most authentic. Audrey really understands what I am looking for when it comes to both highlights and a haircut. I get compliments all the time and couldn't be happier with my hair. I love how natural my highlights look and how they grow out naturally so that I can extend the time between highlight sessions which also keeps my hair healthy! I had been to a few other stylists in the area, but not one was able to make the hair magic happen at Audrey's level!!!

Audrey is an absolute color wizard! She did an amazing job covering my grays without looking artificial (which I previously had from years of using box dye at home). She recommended the perfect shade, the color is not only beautifully concealed my grays but also gave my hair a natural-looking dimension. The entire process was relaxing and enjoyable. I'm beyond impressed and will definitely be back!

Audrey has been doing balayage on my hair for a year and a half now and no joke my hair has gotten thicker! It’s so healthy and strong which is saying a lot for colored treated/highlighted hair. I’m naturally brunette and she adds the prettiest golden blonde that grows out seamlessly. She understands color so well and she’ll be realistic to get you to where you want while keeping your hair healthy. So happy I found her!!

Audrey is incredible! I recently moved to Salt Lake City from the East Coast and was sad to leave my long-time hair colorist and stylist. I had a few subpar haircuts here in SLC and was nervous to find someone to do my color. I have always gotten hairpainting/baylayage and really value natural-looking and easy to maintain color. I found Audrey through her phenomenal Google reviews, and I can attest they are completely accurate. She did a phenomenal job on my color AND cut. She is clearly an expert at what she does, and cares very much about quality. I was very impressed to get a thorough survey of my hair history prior to the visit. To me that indicates she wants to ensure her work is well-suited to your lifestyle and expectations. It was easy to schedule with her and the experience in the salon was wonderful. Just like talking to an old friend! A+ 5 stars, so happy to have found Audrey!

Audrey is absolutely AMAZING! I literally haven't been this happy with a haircut and color... ever. Her expertise truly shines. I loved that she asked for my inspiration ahead of the appointment, and then her techniques while cutting and coloring my hair were some that I have never seen before. She's so dang good at what she does! She also knew exactly how to interpret what it is that I wanted, and that is a skill all on its own. Audrey is truly an artist and is gifted! She literally "paints" on the balayage (which takes half the time of traditional foils) and the results are so natural and beautiful, I'm ecstatic with the results. STELLAR Hair = Audrey Inskeep Salt + Sage. I was referred by my former stylist because I wanted a balayage and Audrey’s reputation for “hair painting” sets her apart in this industry. I travel over 2 hours to have Audrey care for my hair and I am never disappointed. Audrey’s understanding of the “science” of hair is impressive and obvious. Everything from scheduling, consultation to massive color correction receives her highest level of attention. Audrey and Salt + Sage is unpretentious and results driven, and her long-time client base is more committed to her than your local Sunday congregation. Hands down, top-shelf!

I have been getting my hair done here for 6 years and it's always amazing! I'm able to go 3-6 months between appointments due to the the way she places the blonde for a soft grow out. Audrey has been able to maintain my hair being long, thick, and healthy and also blonde. That is an almost impossible task! I always recommend her or any anyone at the salon if she's not available!

I don’t live in Utah currently but when I visit, I always make time to schedule an appointment with Audrey! I searched for so long to find someone that would do the hair painting technique on my naturally long and thick hair and she kills it every single time!
