I asked for a simple blunt cut with a small bit of hair for face framing in the front. Instead I got something more like heavy curtain bangs with my hair thinned out on the side. The girl who cut it was kind but.. When I questioned where the miscommunication took place the owner suggested that the pictures I sent were fake and not hair cut by her stylist. She tried to turn it around and blame me. I was of course offended. She told me to find a new salon. No worries. I wouldn’t ever want to go back. Sad experience. I felt I had to go get hair extensions after this. My hair was so thinned on the side.😔

Upscale salon with highly professional and knowledgeable hair stylists in general. Rhonda has done wonders with my unruly, lifeless hair for the past three years. Truly excellant hair care from hair cut to hair color and beyond. My hair looks and feels amazing. Thank you Rhonda and salon Zazou!

Basic cut color took 3 hours ? while the stylist (Nova) told me 15 times to not move while coloring my hair (very annoying ) and went to pay and was told they don't accept VISA which they did not tell me when I made the appt as a NEW Client

I have been going here for years and have had almost every single person do my hair! I no longer live in Utah but every time I’m in town I make a point of coming back because I love this place and the atmosphere and the everything about it so much.

I’ve known the owner, Rhonda at Salon Zazou for over 20 years and even though I don’t live in Utah I make a point to visit every time I come to Salt Lake City to visit relatives. The salon is always impeccable and the staff very attentive. Most importantly I can always trust that my hair is going to look perfect once I get up from Rhonda’s chair. She is always up to date with the latest trends while implementing her classic and well trained techniques. I decided to write this review after my latest visit. As usual I expected perfect results, which I got. And it’s not easy to get my waist long platinum blonde hair to look always even and shiny (shhh my natural hair is very dark brown) What impressed me this time beyond what I always expect was Rhonda’s diligent attention to sanitation and going above and beyond what is required to keep her clients, employees and other stylist at the Salon safe. Having come out of a strict quarantine I did not feel compromised in any way. I’ll be back soon.

Rhonda, the owner of this amazing salon, is a brilliant hairstylist. She's meticulous, talented and creative and has cut my thick, coarse, long hair for more than 20 years. I can always trust that I will love my hair when I get out of her chair and that the cut will last beautifully for weeks. Now that I want to let my natural white hair color previal, I'm seeing first hand what an amazing colorist Rhonda is. She is masterfully managing the color, tone and root blending as the white grows in. It's an ever changing landscape that she has to progressively tweek as she sees how my hair handles the changes over time.This transition is far easier than I expected, my hair is staying healthy and I'm loving the transformation.

Salon Zazou is fantastic all the way around in all their services. Especially, during covid times so immaculate in abiding by the new guidelines. Top Salon in Salt Lake city for the past twenty some years!! I am so happy and impressed to be able to do my hair at this amazing place!!!

This was one of the best salon experiences I have ever had. I came to Rhonda with home bleached hair that I thought was completely ruined past the point of recovery. I left with with hair looking happy and healthy and exactly the color I wanted. She uses all vegan products that make your hair appear thick and shiny. They got me in within three days and when I arrived they were right on time with smiling faces. So professional and accommodating for all covid parodical. On top of all that their prices are amazing. I will definitely never be going anywhere else for any of my hair needs again.
