The salon is nice. Unfortunately, the hair dresser I had was not kind. I tipped well I was kind, but this human acted like communication and knowing what you want is a problem. This human was passed retirement age, if you do not love what you do move on. Bad look for a decent place. Your only as good as your staff.

Traci Morris I s incredible! She's an artist that can find the right undertones for your skin color and is super affordable! She has completely updated my look and I will never go anywhere else. Salon West might have a 3.9 rating but Traci is a 10 out of 5.

Absolutely horrible! I wish I could give -5 stars. The greatest hairstylist (sarcasm) that works their is extremely unprofessional and will likely change her prices while you're in the chair. This place is an absolutel rip-off which was apparent since there was not a single customer in the place. Rumor has it that "Heather" is the person you want to stay away from. It appears her professionalism reaches only to her friends and is not welcoming to new clients. Take your money elsewhere!

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. What a sad excuse for a business. I had purchased a Groupon where it said "color melt" Heather said that she told Groupon to take it off and since they didn't that I was out of luck. She would have to charge me more and was so rude to me. She would also have to charge another $45 for toner and because my hair is past my shoulders - come on. It's really quite a joke. She obviously is not getting any business since it was like crickets in there- I can see right through her and what a rude person she is. Apparently everyone else on here can too. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

On 4/5/18 Heather of Implicit Salon gave me beaded weft extensions. Not even 5 days later the entire right side had to be re-done. It is now 4/16 and what was left of the extensions are gone. I had beads to close together putting tension on each other, weft hair in beads on other wefts, and even pieces of real hair in two different beads, and it was all falling out. It was painful and embarrassing. Any who knows hair knows that this is wrong. I had the extensions taken out (two wefts left) by a separate stylist who said there is no doubt heather damaged my hair, and called the instal “sloppy and unprofessional at best.” She said it looked like someone had watched a YouTube video. When I contacted Heather she claimed it was the humidity. We live in one of the driest climates in the country. Nice try.

What an awful experience! I went in to see Heather to get a balayage highlight done now that I had 100% virgin hair again. I'm not sure what her definition of balayage is, but thats not what I paid $250 for. The color isn't close to what I requested and its completely uneven in the front. It looks like half my head got highlighted. When I followed up with her about it, she told me (after all was said and done) that she couldn't do what I had requested from my reference photos and felt it was one of the best one's she had ever done. She was slightly snarky on the phone, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She agreed to see me again for a consultation. WOW! I went in with my husband and she just mocked and berated us. She was so petty when I told her I had gotten a second opinion from the owner of a cosmetology school downtown, this is also a dear fiend of mine and some I trust greatly, and multiple friends of mine who have gotten it done in ONE sitting. I have never felt so belittled or taken advantage of. She was so unprofessional, nasty and rude. She refused to give me a refund, and when my husband threatened small claims court SHE RECORDED US so she could "prove" she was willing to redo it and I refused. Of course I refused! It was botched the first time, she has horrendous reviews and she's a been a nightmare to interact with. She doesn't take pride in her work, or have any sort of customer service. DON'T GO!!
