I've been here two times at the recommendation of someone else and I had two great men's haircuts from the students. I believe it's $5 currently for a haircut plus I always leave them a tip. First couple times I went in there The receptionist didn't even recognize me so I wasn't too happy about that. But I decided to go back and try again.

What an exciting 4 months this has been! Certified nail tech now that I've completed the manicure course of 400 hours! The class work was informative & the teachers were knowledgeable! Salon Success was a whole vibe! S/O class of 25! 💅✨️

The teachers are absolutely lovely. Ms. Zelma is very helpful especially with color and has helped us to learn so much and is always very kind even when you mess up. Mr. Derek always has a good attitude and provides a lot of motivation. Ms Nelly is basically like the schools mom and you can really tell she cares about you learning and becoming the best possible stylist. Ms lizzy is amazing at her craft and teaching nails and teaching people who may not even be able to paint their own nails that well into amazing nail techs. Ms Alma is strict but you can tell she cares and will help you when ever you need it. All of this amazing instruction that I have received is definitely due to the strong and respectful leadership of the campus director Ms. Shay who’s door is always open and will due her best to help when ever you need it. All in all I am glad I chose this as the school to get my training from. The amazing instructors I have had have taught me a lot and I definitely feel prepared to move on into my career.

Never in my life have I made a worse decision in selecting a salon until I chose to go to your Riverside location. I have always taken excellent care of my hair and I am just distraught at not only the hair service but also the customer service. I am leaving for a huge international trip this Thursday that I have been dreaming of my entire life and now I am just embarrassed to even go because of how my hair was left from your salon. I have spent all day trying to fix my hair and nothing at all has worked. I will never be coming back here again.

Had an excellent experience. John is the type of stylist that everyone deserves. He took his time making sure I got everything I asked for in regards to color and styling. Extremely satisfied with the job he did.

My experience at this salon was amazing everyone here is so welcoming and nice my stylist John and dom were both very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process I wanna thank John again for taking the time to make sure my hair turned good & so I can have the best look for my 15 !! This school is super unorganized they suck at communicating and handling new students from trying to register I called three times to try and make an appointment the first two times a student answered and took my information saying the counselor would get back to me two weeks passed and no one called I called a third time finally got an appointment for help with fasfa help with enrolling and a tour I showed up five minutes early all the lights were off I knocked twice no one showed so I called turns out the counselor was there she comes in looking super confused but whatever’s thats not my issue the issue is she couldn’t even help with fasfa talking to us all rude like that was common knowledge like I’m sorry ?? I didn’t know?? She starts saying how she was in the hospital so she won’t be able to enroll me till after Christmas break I just don’t see why they had to waste my time and not let me know all this over the phone her only excuse was that corporate is the one answer the phone so again very bad communication and super unorganized this school is not a good place for first time students

By far thee worst and woke place I visited as a true blood American. What a disrespectful note to our fallen men . What has america fallen too !! . What a horrible site to see . Please god forgive the demons

It was my first time visiting here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Jacqueline was my stylist and she was just great. I have "difficult" hair, to say the least yet she approached it like a champ. I ended up getting close to 6-7" cut off. My hair was kind of layered, so she had to work with that, and the fact that I have a LOT of hair. Super thick and heavy. I loved how it came out! It was such a relief to be taken care of 100%. Everyone there was very kind and pleasant, and the salon was exceptionally clean. I will definitely be back soon!

She did a very thorough job with the colorand recommended hair cut styles that work with the color and look I was going for. Consulted with teachers when needed who were very supportive and helpful. Everyone there was wonderful.

The academy here sucks they use us as workers make money off the students don’t supply product for the customers they receive we have to purchase our own to benefit the school overall just business for them

Had a cut and a shave for 12$. Amazing students and staff. They know their stuff and the services were performed under the supervision of one of the teachers. Will come again for my hair cuts and shaves in the future!

Sandra worked magic! I didn't know what to expect but left feeling brand new! I had 3 months of outgrowth and wanted an all over color, even snuck myself a facial lol. She was communicative and informative every step of the way. Made sure I was comfortable, relaxed and hydrated! Thank you so much Sandra and see you in 8 weeks!

I was a student in the Manicure program part-time and this particular location had prejudice acts, and discrimination coming from several students and one assistant director Mr. L. As the only Blk student in that particular class I was registered in, there was bullying and bad talking, but if I were to stand up for myself and say (leave me tf alone) I was the one always being told to leave by Mr. L. It was a point the whole class got suspended due to he say she say, but majority of the class wanted to say I was the problem and I didn’t really speak but hello and what assignments we were working on. It was so bad to where I decided to withdraw from that location. As a student studying business finance wanting to use this program to get certified to pay my way through school, this wasn’t a good location to attend, and I couldn’t rely on the staff and directors to handle any situations accordingly.

I came in for a pedicure and was pleasantly surprised with how affordable everything was! So much so I decided to add on a massage and scrub. My technician was Abby C. who warmly welcomed me right away and started asking about design ideas as she started the foot soak. She had a great assortment of colors to choose from but i stuck with a french with an hibiscus design on each big toe. Abby took her time and made sure my toes were prepped and that i was comfortable. My french tips have never looked soooo good before (usually i do my own toes)!!! Abby was also great with conversation and letting me talk so much! It was such a fun experience EDIT: on 9/21 i went in for a manicure. A handful of cops came in and everyone was confused. No one told us customers anything. A cop came right in and went to a guy who was a barber, literally because he is Black. This officer was then called over by other cops in the back of the academy and overall it was scary. I ended up overhearing that one of the students brought in a GUN!!!!! I only overheard since most people assume I don’t understand spanish. I’m APPALLED a handgun was present in the classroom and even more so disgusted that us customers were told NOTHING and left in the midst of confusion. Some of the students here are amazing at their craft like Abby (@thenailphaery) but the shady environment should make you think twice before coming dir to safety concerns!

Salena is a pro even though she's a student. Her talent in doing nails is better than the services that I have had in the past. She is very talented - artistic, attention to detail and makes you feel beautiful!
