I have been going to Joy at Salon Re: as long as I can remember. I have followed her to all of her locations until she finally found ownership at this place. I live in Cascade Ada area and it is worth my drive down Fulton to go to her location. As far as I’m concerned, she is the color queen of hair. And at the age of 62 I don’t want to think about my hair anymore and she never lets me look old. She always does something that is new and fresh and edgy just the way I like it. At this point I don’t even have to say anything I can just sit in the chair and relax and tell her to do her thing. Your hair experience should be comforting and this one is. The location is so nice. It’s so warm and welcoming. The receptionist are always great. They’re very good about text and phone call reminders cause we all get busy. I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. I love that they have reserved parking spaces for us too so you know you can always find a spot when you have an appointment

Jamie has been my hairstylist since 2007. She does a fantastic job and is always so friendly! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist who is great with color!

My entire family, including my daughters and husband and myself all get our hair done here. It’s locally owned and operated and everyone is so kind and friendly. They always have refreshments available to lunch on while you wait for your hair to set or waiting for one of my kids to get their hair done. All the stylists are on trend and I always leave feeling so refreshed!

Just got a cut and style from Jessica and love my hair now. I have thick coarse hair so I am pleased with the results!! This was my first time here and I'll definitely be coming back!

Salon Re is a GEM! I have been going to this salon for well over a decade, following Jen Cool Matthews. I have always had the most outstanding service! But it's truly a team effort, I'm always greeted warmly and professionally. They have perfected the customer experience, with state-of-the-art products and facilities. I love the owner's (Joy) support of local artists, often showcasing their work and providing an outlet to discover some of Grand Rapids best local talent. Joy continually invests in the business to ensure stylists have well equipped stations and customers can enjoy a gorgeous aesthetic with comfy surroundings. Not to mention the ample parking close by she secured just for customers. Having been a client this long, it's not a coincidence this salon is successful and consistently amazing. It's the intentional and thoughtful hard work and investment by Joy and the stylists making it one of the best in town!

For someone with natural hair like mine, it was extremely hard to find a salon in the area that has customers or even hairstylists that has hadexperience doing my style of hair. However, after much research I came upon Salon Re and my hairstylist, Joy, always does an amazing job with my hair. I always get the Peter Coppola Keratin Treatment and I always love how the final product turns out. Thank you so much, Joy!!!

I am a newer client of Meghan M. I picked her because of her passion for hair cutting and she did not disappoint. I have straight hair and my shag looks so lived in and has incredible volume. Stopped in today to get Angel Wash too, such a cute salon to be a client of. Do yourself a favor and book now, before the holidays come!

I have been coming here for 4 years and leave happy every time! They know color, highlighting, cuts, and shaping. It’s easy to make appointments and the space is beautiful. Coming from LA I was anxious to find a place that could compare to their salons and this is it. Highly recommend!

I love salon re! They always have the most wonderful little snacks for me to enjoy while getting my hair done. Plus, Ellie Bond gives the BEST hair wash / scalp massage. Literally look forward to it every time. She is so sweet and relatable and I love chatting with her while getting my hair done. She always makes my vision come to life! and being super indecisive, she helps me decide what to do and what would fit my face shape best!

Jessica has been cutting mine and my daughters naturally curly locks for at least 4 years now, and our hair has never been more consistently in good shape. I really just leave it to Jessica to go in and do her magic! She knows where to go to create the right balance of layers, texture and shape. My daughter and I often have our appointments together with Jessica, it's great girl time. My trip to Salon Re: is always a relaxing treat to get away from everything. All the staff are wonderful, kind and always welcoming. The atmosphere is always calm and relaxing, I feel like I can really just slow down and take a quiet break! I highly recommend Salon Re: for any kind of hair care or treatment.

I have come to Salon Re for at least 10 years and have referred many of my friends. My stylist is Stephanie and I have come to know several others including Joy and Julie. The salon is clean, inviting, and high energy. Everyone seems to be upbeat and friendly!

I love the atmosphere at Salon Re. I’m always greeted with a warm smile. I’m a creature of habit, so I normally just do a full color and a light trim to keep my healthy length. I also love that they also sell Kevin Murphy products. 100/10 definitely recommend this salon.

Love the relaxed atmosphere. Salon Re doesn't feel or smell like a fancy salon, but the service is first rate. Jessica does a fantastic job and always knows the right color and cut. Everyone seems to leave feeling good and looking great. Highly recommend.
