Absolutely loved my experience here. The friendliest staff from the moment you walk in the door. Lyndsey was fantastic. I came for a balayage blonde color and walked out so happy. She listened to what I wanted and set realistic expectations around how we can get my hair to that picture. 10/10 recommend.

Christina is second to none. She listens, she offers suggestions, and she truly cares about her clients. She uses only high quality products and really knows how to pamper her clients. Her salon is high class with beverages and snacks if you desire. This place is hands-down, the best!

I absolutely adore this salon. The aesthetic inside is so welcoming yet elevated, and everyone who works there is so friendly. Christina does incredible work on my hair, the color and cut is nailed every time! I've also watched the health of my hair transform since she's introduced me to a quality product line which I can conveniently stock up on while I'm there. I love this addition to the neighborhood!

I can't recommend Linzy W. enough! I've been seeing Linzy for 8 years and feel so lucky she was recommended to me! Every time I sit in her chair, I know I’m in good hands. She has an amazing ability to make me feel totally at ease and her attention to detail is unmatched—she knows exactly what will work best for my hair, and I always leave feeling like a million bucks. She knows how to make every visit feel personal, fun, and relaxed, but she’s also incredibly skilled at what she does. The salon is also beautiful and in a convenient location!

The before and after pics say it all! Jamie worked absolute magic on my hair. This salon is posh, relaxing, and super clean. Sweet amenities from snacks and chocolates to every beverage you could ask for. The most relaxed I’ve been in weeks!! Also love the fact that there is easily accessible free street parking to get you in and out!!

I am a Chicago transplant and have been looking for a hairstylist with no success over the past year. I finally found Jamie who also recently located from Chicago where she worked at a top Gold Coast salon for the past 20 years. Her experience and style clearly show! I have difficult hair and this was by far the best cut and color I've gotten in at least the last 5 years. Even several weeks later it's lasted and is growing out nicely. Just when I was about to give up on finding a great stylist...I found a keeper! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Obviously, I'm thrilled!

I genuinely got the best haircut I’ve ever had here! Lyndsey did the most amazing job and I will be coming back time and time again. The service is top notch and they are very accommodating. All of the products they use have helped my hair a lot and they always give some samples to try which is so sweet! The best blowout I’ve ever had also, it lasts for days! Highly recommend.

In the past I’ve never really cared much about going to a new hair dresser each time I needed my hair cut- but ever since my first cut with Jamie 2 years ago, I only go to her now!! Salon Ostara also is so cozy and bright and is a great vibe to spend a haircut day in.

I’ve been getting my hair extensions done by Lyndsey for over two years now, and I can honestly say I will never go to anyone else. Before finding her, I had tried many different stylists, but none of them could compare. Lyndsey is hands down the best and the fastest at what she does. Every time I visit, she greets me with such warmth and friendliness that I instantly feel comfortable. Her professionalism and expertise are unmatched—she truly knows what she’s doing when it comes to hair. I always leave the salon feeling more confident and loving my extensions. Lyndsey Green has been my hair stylist since 2019 and she has by far been the best and most professional hair expert I’ve ever had. She always does an amazing job with my hair - coloring, cutting and styling. She gives personalized recommendations and her execution is out of this world! Salon Ostara is also to cutest and most trendy salon I’ve been in. I’ve had such great experiences here every single time I come. I recommend this salon and Lyndsey 10/10 💇🏼‍♀️

Salon Ostara is such a cute spot! The ambiance makes me feel like a special guest every time I’m there for my hair treatments. Lyndsey has been my hairstylist for over a year and she always gives the perfect cut! Easy access in a great location around Sloan’s. Highly recommend!

Teresa is the BEST hairstylist!! She is so knowledgeable and knows how to individualize what she is doing for exactly what you want! She is also very flexible/easy going and has hours on the weekend to accommodate your schedule. I have literally looked for 2 years to find someone as excellent at highlights as Teresa is. I'm so grateful I found her! And she has the best prices I have ever seen for how many years she has been perfecting her craft! The salon is also beautiful, clean, a nice location, and easy parking. If you're looking for low-maintenance and excellent priced highlights with a friendly person, come to Teresa.

Horrific customer service. They canceled my appointment the day of one hour before my appointment and "released" me as a client. It was difficult to reach my stylist to discuss my desires for my hair and after I expressed this politely. Expect to hear TMI about your stylist's life and not be able to reach them via phone text or email. Beautiful salon with great products but unwelcome energy every time!

I’ve been going to Christina for my hair needs for 18 years, and she’s simply amazing! I’ve followed her to every salon she’s worked at, and I’m thrilled to now support her in her dream of owning her own salon. Her expertise is unmatched, and it’s incredible to see her passing her knowledge on to the next generation of stylists. She’s truly magical! On top of that, supporting a small business is always a win. As a 5th generation Coloradan, Christina brings such a special touch to her work. I’ll keep singing her praises to everyone I know! Lyndsey is my favorite. I’ve been getting my haircut from her for a while now and she always does a great job. My girlfriend was looking for a salon and I suggested she make an appointment with her. Afterwards she was thrilled and said it was the best haircut she’s ever had. Thank you Lyndsey!!!!

Professional, clean, cute and fun place to get your hair done. Owner is incredible, caring, asks questions and really understands exactly what I ask for with my hair. Salon is so comfortable. All staff is friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Christina is wonderful and very talented. She listens and answers my questions. She is honest and will advise me if a certain style will not work with my type of hair (I have very thick hair). We also talk about fashion and makeup. She is more than just my hair stylist. The salon is clean and professionally designed.

Hands down the best curly-cut I have ever received. EVER. I saw Teresa who was attentive, very interested in what I was after, really looked at my "haircut" Pinterest board, talked with me about what was realistic, made me feel not just heard but really listened to + understood. End result: I LOVE my haircut, love it. The salon itself is lovely -- bright, open, welcoming, luxe-feeling without being pretentious. The price was astonishingly reasonable, and when you factor in the quality of the cut it was a total steal. Highly recommend.
