The decor is chic. Love all the hair products and other items they have to choose from. Candle, jewelry,ect. I met the owner such a sweet welcoming person. My son got a fade and edged very sharp and clean by Johnny, a barber currently in the shop. I would highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for a welcoming professional place for all your hair care needs. Definitely check them out!!!

I have known Jennifer Yancey for over 5 years as a friend and a hair stylist. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair! She has done my hair for all different occasions, including my wedding! I always leave happy and in love with my hair!

After a terrible experience with Haleigh at Salon Luxe, 5 months later she reaches out to me on her business instagram to harass me and bully me. I posted the screenshots below… this is truly disgusting behavior from someone of her age and profession. The screenshots speak for themselves. I decided to get my breasts redone which is a personal decision and she commented on how "far apart" they were from her business account for no reason other than to try to hurt my feelings. This girl is like 28 and is harassing a 21 year old who hasn't been her client for half a year. DO NOT GO TO HER

I’ve been going to Haleigh for a few months now. The first hair I bought from her (in april) was $700 alone and did not last and was apparently a “bad batch” so two weeks ago I bought new hair because the hair I had purchased was so tangled and bad I couldn’t ever wear it down without it knotting up. The new hair alone was $800. I had an appointment that Haleigh cancelled twice (one time was not her fault, an accident had shut down the power of the salon) to install the new hair and have my color done. The second time she cancelled was thirty minutes before the appointment and i was already on my way to St Pete. I got my new hair installed Tuesday. A few days later I noticed pieces poking out (you can see in photo) and texted her about it. She advised me to cut it which I was not comfortable doing considering I had just spent $800 on this weave. I wanted to come in asap for it to be fixed. She got super annoyed and said “she sees nothing” and that it is my OCD… She agreed to let me come in on Saturday (yesterday) at 8:45 am to fix it. At 7:00 am Saturday she texted me cancelling because her other client cancelled so she “wasn’t going to come in for that”. I was obviously upset and she told me I could come in Monday but I would be charged like everyone else (see text). After paying for my hair to be installed only 4 days before, you would think this would be fixed for free after paying a decent amount of money for it to be sewn in properly. Haleigh does great color and usually great extensions but because of the lack of quality, wasted money, and hurtful things said to me, I will no longer be returning and am taking my business to an extensions salon in Tampa for a better experience and treatment. Update: months later I’m being harassed by the same employee over instagram from her professional account making fun of my breasts…. I’m in shock at how haleigh is still able to do hair and the lack of professionalism at this salon. I’ve had 6 girls dm me saying they had the same experience and how rude she was to them. This isn’t okay

Jess Smith (miracle worker) blew me away! I knew my hair was a hot mess and I was absolutely sure she was going to kick me out of her chair! She did no such thing! Jess told me she likes a challenge and was confident she was up for it! I booked the appt after the consultation and when I came back to see her My hair (worse than before) was silver, gold, purple, yellow, even some brown spots… 🤦‍♀️ so embarrassing but I never felt judged!!! She transformed my hair in the most magical of ways! She was so knowledgeable about color and really worked her magic! She took care of my fragile hair and “treated it” but was still able to give me that platinum blonde look I love! At the end of the visit I felt like myself again. When you are blonde it’s hard to find someone who understands how hard it is to achieve the look you want. Blondes get it! She gets it! Jess was so sweet and a joy to be around. Salon Luxe was cozy and the vibe was good. It also had a great retail selection. Overall 5 star experience! Thank you, Jess!

As someone who’s actually had their hair done here and by the salon owner, Jennifer, for the past 10+ years i can honestly attest that this is the best salon in St. Pete. The salon atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful. I highly recommend coming here for extensions because you will be in love and HOOKED for life! I ALWAYS get asked who does my blonde highlights and here is your answer. You will never leave here disappointed!!!

JAMI ALEXANDER review: I have been seeing Jami for over a year; previously at her salon in Tampa and now closer to home in St. Pete (yay!). I am 52yo and with extensions for my thinning hair - menopause has not been my best friend :) She has been nothing but professional, kind and accommodating. My hair goes from brown to blonde to platinum to brown again and she has such a talent and patience for color transitioning (her blondes are amazingly gorgeous). My hair is not just super healthy, but extensions don't cause any hair to fall out or break. She is skilled in several hair extension techniques and will work with you to find the best one for you and your goals and lifestyle. I now consider her not just my hairdresser but a friend. Everyone at Salon Luxe is AMAZING!!! I've been going to Jami for years and she is literally the best of the best. The Salon Luxe space itself is super cute, amazing vibes, VERY clean, top-notch sanitation; everyone is so so friendly and talented. The owner, Jennifer, is such a gem. I live in Tampa and come all the way here to get my hair done by Jami because she's worth it - I wouldnt trust ANYBODY else with my hair. She's incredible!!!! I followed Jami to st Pete from Tampa and I’m very happy with the new salon. She is in the process of helping my blonde dreams come true. We went from salon black to now a blonde. I never thought I would wear extensions but she made me feel so comfortable through this hair journey that I decided to take the plunge into them. So happy I did. Below is a before and after picture. I have been a client of Jens for over 10 years (before she opened her own salon). I love her work and what she does for my hair. I have been every color you could think of, from the brightest blonde to the darkest brown and all the fun colors in between. She has always done a great job. She also was my daughters first hair cut. I have sent many clients her way and everyone has always been thrilled with their services. I’ve been seeing Jessica now for a couple of years and honestly, couldn’t be happier. She is professional, kind, and always over exceeds my expectations with her cuts and color. Also worth mentioning that she is very prompt to respond and ALWAYS makes time for me even with her busy schedule. The salon itself is also a very cool spot. It’s super cute inside and the other stylists and staff are always super kind and welcoming. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a talented stylist at a quaint and cool salon! 10/10

Jami is the best! She has been doing my hair for over a year and I followed her to Salon Luxe from her old salon because of how great she is! She has taken me from dark to light, light to dark, fashion colors, extensions, and different style cuts. Not only do I love my hair, but her personality always makes it a fun experience!! Highly recommend!!
