Visiting from Michigan and looked for a nail salon close to our hotel. We called At 9:00 for pedicures. Amber was helpful and kind. They were able to get us in at 9:30. Chastity was our nail tech. The shop is adorable. The chairs had heat and massager. They offer shellac and regular nail polish. Service Was excellent! Highly recommend!

I received the best Dermaplane facial of my life from Brennen at Salon J! Brennen has not only created a relaxing and welcoming space, she also embodies someone who clearly loves and takes pride in what they do. She took her time and talked me through everything, made sure to check in with me to ensure I was still comfortable, and was super thorough all around. And my results were incredible-- talk about a glow! I will definitely be back, 12/10 recommend.

Joanne exceeded my expectations with this hair color transformation. After such a great and informative consultation, she was able to create EXACTLY what I was looking for. All of the ladies at the salon are so great, so professional, and so fun! Definitely my new spot for all my salon services. You guys rock!

Do not recommend for a bachelorette party. It was difficult to schedule, the appointments were hectic when we arrived and felt rushed. I think it would be fine for individual appointments, but I was surprised they advertise as bachelorette / bridal because they did not seem set up for groups. The blowout stylist pulled hair for three of us a lot and very loudly complained it took a while to dry long hair (which was more expensive, so not sure why she complained). The facial was also overly aggressive. Manicure, pedicure, and reflexology were all nice. They calculate totals with a calculator so it was difficult to settle up at the end. They tried to charge our group 20% gratuity twice. The website says no deposit required, but there was a $200 deposit (no big deal but different from the website).

I had a dermaplane facial for my birthday with Brennen and it was the best facial ever! I felt so relaxed and at home and after my facial was done, my skin was absolutely glowing and so soft!! I will definitely be back to see her for more treatments and highly recommend you do too!

Be careful about the final price they charged. They might charge more than they said before the service and if you found it, they would told you it’s just a miscommunication. Btw the nail polish failed two times. The second time I just decided to go back home and remove it myself. The manicurist does not know when the polish is dry.

Brennen gives the best facials! Today she did a Dermaplane facial which was fantastic! She is so nice and bubbly and is so gentle with her touch! I would definitely do it again!! I wish I could have bought some of the products she used because they feel so good on my face. Thanks so much for such a wonderful experience!!

Brennen is the absolute best!! And her space is just as wonderful as she is. Boho chic and sassy and equally as calming and relaxing. I was instantly set as ease. I had a brow lamination, tint and wax. The works. I had no idea what to expect because I had never had this service before. Brennen was amazing and walked me through the process effortlessly. My brows have never looked better! The lamination filled my brows in and the tint made them flawless! I don’t even have to use a pencil or gel! This service really enhances your brows and takes no effort on your end at all! I love it because when I don’t want to wear makeup I still look so put together! I will do this again but only with my girl Brennen! Thank you my friend for making my brows the best!!

I am seeing Lori for regular massage therapy now. I'm 43 and have been using massage since I was 17 and Lori is absolutely exceptional. I've never had someone work on me with as much intuition and knowledge of the mind, body and spirit. I saw amazing results after the very first session.. thank you! I booked a facial with Brennen and asked her which facial I should get. I’m a triathlete so my skin is often exposed to several different harsh conditions like chemicals in the pool, and wind from running downtown. I also work a 9-5 M-F and put on makeup almost every day and I’m not the best at taking care of my skin. She recommended the dermaplane facial with a jelly mask. She took the time to assess my skin type and concerns, and tailored the treatment accordingly, and explained each step of the process, so that I understood what was being done and why. My skin is GLOWING! And my makeup looks amazing. I highly recommend Brennen for any facial and dermaplane treatments. If you're looking for a skilled professional who will leave your skin looking and feeling its best, Brennen is the one to go to. **Plan ahead, parking is complicated around the salon. Get there early to find parking and walk. If you can uber there, that might be a better option.

I had a facial with Brennen and it was magical! She made me feel so comfortable and listened to all of my skin concerns. She customized the facial specific to all my skin needs and even followed up with me after my appointment to check in on me and send me some skin information that was discussed during our appointment. The entire experience was 11/10 rating! She went above and beyond with everything and I left feeling relaxed and skin glowing.

I’m in town visiting for a conference and had some time to kill before hotel check in. See the reviews and figured I’d come treat myself to a badly needed spa pedicure. I am SO glad I decided to do it because Miss Sharita HOOKED IT UP!! My feet haven’t felt this soft and smooth since before the pandemic. She was super sweet and handled my feet with the utmost care. I was able to make a reservation while eating breakfast. She took great care of me and we had a great conversation the entire time. I’ll definitely make it a point to come back and see her every time I come to Nashville. Also, Salon J is cute! I’ll be back for sure!

Since I moved to downtown Nashville in 2021, Salon J has been my hair, nail and all around spa I go to every single week. Joanne has put in my extensions for over 2 years now and they are the best I’ve had to date! Joanne specializes in micro placement that gives the absolute best natural look and feel. From blowouts with both Joanne & Herumi, to highlights and gel manicures and pedicures with Sharita, to heavenly facials with Brennan, you won’t find better service and a better high end salon & spa experience than Salon J.

The massage was poor quality!! I don’t feel she had the strength for a deep tissue massage! Several minutes of standing still with no more than a hand on my back and absolutely no massage. The on line price was $140, I got in and ready for a massage and was told about a $40 “up charge “ to work on a sore area. I agreed and the the charge was not $180…… it was $250!!!!!! They include their own tip plus add extra charges. The place is a scam and not honest!!!

The service was not worth it to me. I honestly feel like my baby niece could have painted my toes better. The lady was not as friendly as I’m used to… I asked her which is a nice classic red and she just said there’s all the colors on the wall and wouldn’t really help and she bragged about how she’s been doing this for over 20 years but yet she can’t paint in the lines. Before the first day was even up because it was painted on my skin, it lift and at least one nail was missing some polish on the nail and I ended up having to do my nails in less than four days after I paid $60 for the pedicure and 10 for tip. And the lighting in there was very spotlight however when doing someone’s to extra lighting to make sure you’re doing the job properly. I was very disappointed.

This is a little late review. I was visiting from Alabama last month. I wondered in and got the BEST gel manicure I have EVER gotten. It lasted WEEKS with no peeling. Last week I went to my local salon and the gel literally started peeling the next morning. This made me appreciate Miss Sharita’s work even more! Miss Sharita’s nail prep and application alone was worth the money, but her conversation was just as wonderful! She was so kind and very easy to talk to. If you’re visiting Nashville, hit up Salon J and ask for Sharita!

Worst massage in my life! Music was hip hop/ phone kept ringing throughout Bluetooth/ commercials playing on app/ broke contact during massage several times/ pressure , & touch was very unsatisfactory/ not relaxing at all! Cold room/ lights bright/ lots of noise coming from adjoining spaces
