Salon Crie is a professional salon that caters to natural hair. The owner and stylists are very knowledgeable and professional. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I moved to Charlotte and still travel back to Greensboro just to have my hair colored by Aminah. I have referred friends and family there and they all have been satisfied. Thank you Salon Crie staff for being a standout business!

Salon Crie is efficient and so very professional! Aminah and Safira are excellent stylists that are super skilled, but also know their clients and what works best for their curls/locs. The Crie Natural products are great, the salon is clean and so cute, and the stylists are great people. I'm never disappointed in my Salon Crie experience!

What was supposed to be an exciting summer opportunity has turned into a nightmare. Signed my kid up for the summer camp to learn natural hairstyles with Safira. Had to cancel a week prior and reached out to Safira and that is when things went bad. Even though there was no cancellation policy established she stated she would only refund $200. Requested an explanation for the $150 penalty which was excessive for any camp. After getting the run around about other dates and being told that alternative dates did not apply to me due to cancellation was able to get her to provide a receipt explaining the $150 charge. Attempted to go by and pick up items billed for that could not be returned for several days (original camp dates advertised were altered but not communicated as well as date that stylist specifically stated she would be available 6/29 with no success). Was finally able to pick up items on 7/3. Attached is a picture of the items that appear to have been purchased from a site such as Temu because the packaging is not in English. The mannequin was not even a natural hair product (the camp was for natural hair). Very disappointed that: 1. camp was misleading, 2. stylist would charge excessive fees for 1 student cancellation (it was never intended to be a one on one session but the fees are applied to one). Feel that there was really no intention of having a camp. Rather than helping resolve this situation it is clear that some very subpar items were handed off as a cover up. Throughout this process I must say that the other stylists at this place were professional and courteous. However it is misfortunate they have a colleague, Safira, leaving a negative mark on their location. Please do NOT consider a camp hosted by Safira.

I came in and knew it would be a good time. I am so happy with my new cut. They took the time to figure out exactly what I wanted. She asked questions to make sure I was comfortable each step of the way. Well worth the price! 10/10 recommend!!!! Thank you. ❤️

Wonderful salon experience! Relaxed atmosphere and great vibes. These ladies (Julia & Aminah) were incredibly helpful and professional. I have fine/thin hair that’s brittle from hair loss. I haven’t taken care of it very well but Aminah literally has a science to styling hair! She was very detailed when cutting and shaping my hair, using a ruler to measure the hair for optimal volume. They listened to me and asked questions to ensure my satisfaction and explained the process of the Crie Curl Experience. They were also accommodating when helping me with after care and product recommendations. Will definitely recommend to others! Thanks again Salon Crie!!

Before today I had no idea that there were hair salons for natural hair. I came in as a new client and got a curly style with Julia. She was very kind and gave me wonderful tips on how to manage my hair. Left the salon finally feeling beautiful and confident with my hair. I will definitely be coming back!❤❤❤

Ok so let me start this review off by saying I've never had my natural curly hair done before..... and honey I didn't know my curls could look this good. So today was my first time every going to a salon that specializes in natural hair and I'm amazed. The owner Aminah is fantastic and she had done an amazing job with hiring and training her Jr. stylist Julia. They are both extremely professional but also very down to earth. The price at first scared me a little bit for everything she did and the time and detail she took on my hair, it was well worth it. She washed, conditioned, Co washed steamed and cut my hair and I'm in love. This was the best experience and I'm in love with my curls. For once they don't look dry and they have shape and shine and it was just a fantastic experience overall. I'll also upload more photos later

Enlighten by the service and knowledge of the owner and staff about African American hair. I initially came for "Proper blowout" style but left with natural black curls in my hair!! All my life from straightening comb to relaxer products and at the age of 53 introduced to Wash-n-Go hair. I'm so pleased with the outcome of my experience at Salon Crie.

I wish the owner had the time to do my hair instead of the young lady who gave me a 2-strand twist set. My hair looked horrible and it didn't last. I can wear twists for 7+ days, then a twist-out. However, by day 3, my hair was frizzy and I had to take it out; although my intent was to travel with a 2-strand twists. I've done better twists myself and regret wasting my money visiting that salon. I had to forgive myself for tipping her.

Laid back vibe at the salon, but the stylist are all about the business of caring for and styling natural hair. I’ve had the best haircut in my natural hair journey and my curls are so well defined since coming here regularly. I highly recommend this place if you are a natural, man, woman, boy or girl!

I had an amazing first visit at Salon Crie. I was given great information on maintaining my natural hair and ideas on a future style. I even got color! I felt like I was listened to and validated. I was so happy when I found out that the salon was accepting new clients and couldn’t wait to book an appointment. As a new resident (1 1/2 yrs) of Greensboro, it’s been hard to find a salon and stylist who specializes in natural hair and one that is actually very knowledgeable about natural hair. Aminah provided me with a ton of valuable information of how to properly care of my hair and curls. Zharia did an amazing job from start to finish and my hair still looks AND smells amazing 6 days later. Also, the salon atmosphere is so relaxing and calming and the decor is beautiful. I will forever be a client here and can’t wait until my next appointment. Thanks for an amazing first experience.

This salon is a rip off. I paid for a “New Client Package” which was a $130 which they told me when I got to the salon. However, They didn’t inform me the stylist Zharia only work at the salon between 10am till 2pm Wednesday thru Friday. Zharia doesn’t even work weekends. Which doesn’t work for me or the majority of working class women. They will not even give me another stylist because Zharia is the only one excepting new clients. So plz if your given Zharia don’t get ripped off. Take your wallet and run away.

I have searched for a while for someone who could work with natural curly multi-textured hair. Through a friend’s recommendation, I found Salon Crie and Aminah Lawson. Friendly staff, talented stylist and very informative about how to care for my hair. Loving my new ‘do’. I’ll be back again and again.
