Did a wonderful job on my eyebrows. She gets the tiny baby hairs you can't even see. Because of that, the results last much much longer for the same price or cheaper than other places. Make sure to call ahead.

I saw raving reviews and went here for hair henna.. Ruby is such an experienced hand and did a wonderful job.. They have been around for 21 years in the Bay Area. Their henna smells just like the best quality ones you get in India. She herself is a formulator and they have their own brand called Phool Patti. They also sell henna paste we can buy and freeze and use at home. She has a very strong loyal clientele.. I am extremely happy I found her and will definitely be going back regularly.. She is a must try. Apart from hair henna, they also seem to be doing facials, threading and haircuts... They take customers based on appointments..

I found Ruby’s salon by happenstance on Google and she was conveniently located right across the street from our residency. As soon as we arrived, we noticed the cleanliness and aroma circulating throughout her salon. Ruby was extremely friendly and made my 11-year old daughter feel so comfortable during her first threading appointment. It was quick & painless, but the results were astounding! We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend her services, as she is passionate about her clients and skilled in a wide range of things! I am looking forward to booking a facial with her next week and will leave another review based on my experience.

Ruby is knowledgeable, professional and pays attention to detail in what she does. Studio is clean and relaxing with great choice of music. I have used most of her services and she is very patient and accommodating with my requests. Go for her henna and Indigo service ( natural and chemical free) and you will celebrate your natural hair look!!!!

I came to Ruby after another salon ruined my eyebrows. She was so patient and understanding and helped me regrow my eyebrows. She also has this wonderful oil that is magical. The smell is great and helps soothe headaches. I use it 1-2 times a week and my hair feels so much softer. It's great that all her products are homemade and the ingredient list is full of natural items and no chemicals! Highly recommend Ruby for her expertise in all matters!

I have been here multiple times mostly for threading. Ruby is very talented with it, I get almost negligible pain while getting my eyebrows done by her. The place itself is well maintained and clean. Would recommend this salon for sure.

I have done my eyebrows here three times and at the beginning I noticed she was a little bit like rushing, but I didn't care too much. She never left my eyebrows perfect but I thought okay, I think is good enough. But the last time I was here it was horrible. She was doing everything too fast and didn't allowed me to stretch my eyebrow before she would trade, so I got a cut. Then after doing it, she didn't even apologized, she just blamed me and said that I didn't stretch well. Also my eyebrows were totally different as you can see in the picture. She offered me to fix it, but because she made a round shape on the top of one eyebrow and an arc on the other, I was super afraid she will make it worse. In response to your answer: Thank you for apologizing for cutting my eyelid. It is unfortunate that I had to leave you a bad review in order for you to apologize even though you still keep saying it was my fault. I have been doing my eyebrows with trading for 4 years and no one ever had a problem with the way I hold or stretch. You can keep saying it was my fault, but the truth is that you were accelerated and cut my eyelid. And of course I didn't want to let you fix my eyebrows after what happened. I really don't think you can fix it.

Neem and sandal face masks are really good and must have products for good skin care. I would also recommend to try Ruby’s hair oil. It helps to fight dandruff and leaves hair shinny and smooth. I have been a client at Ruby's Beauty Studio for a really long time. Have used her services for various things like eyebrows, facial, henna etc. Ruby is extremely dedicated to her clients. I have some serious dye allergy and can hence have to use only henna for my hair. I have been using Ruby's henna for a very long time. It gives a very good hue of burgundy. I have been coming to Ruby since good 15 years and every time it is a delight . The most relaxing and peaceful experience I have felt going to the salon. The best part are the rejuvenating facials, which leaves you feeling lighter and fresh. I have been going to Ruby for years now (more than 10!). I started with eyebrow threading and soon added henna treatment after a few years. I love getting henna treatment from her since it is so nourishing for my hair and scalp. It conditions my hair really nicely and adds a very nice brown tint as well! It has really helped me with healthy hair over the years. Hair oil- I have been using her hair oil for more than a year now and my hair is so much smoother and my hair fall has reduced considerably. My hair is pretty frizzy but when I apply this hair oil and wash my hair, my hair is much softer and easier to style. Infact the longer I leave it in my hair, the better results I get when I wash my hair. When I workout also, my hair is less frizzy afterwards. I have been going to Ruby since 2002. She is so true to her profession. Her services and products are amazing. I use her henna for hair, I use her hair oil. Both are not to miss products. I never do facials because I feel claustrophobic but she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Rubi start giving Yoga lessons also. Yoga, which I never believed in. But Rubi made me realized how good and beneficial yoga is for our body. Me and my husband can definetly feel the good results of yoga but that comes if you are doing those exercises on regular basis. I have been going to Ruby's beauty studio since 2005 and used her henna, hair oil and get threading, waxing, facials regularly. Ruby puts her heart and soul into whatever she does and it shows in the outstanding quality of her products and services. She is very professional, punctual and her salon is always clean and tidy. Her clients are so loyal to her and they wait for her to come back when she closes her salon temporarily during holidays or India trips but do not go to any other place for waxing/threading/facial. Hair Oil: It is very fragrant, smooth, easy to apply. I have very thick curly hair and apply it after hair wash - it detangles and conditions my hair very nicely leaving it soft and manageable. A little goes a long way as I used her 8oz bottle for over 6 months applying it 1-2 times a week. This hair oil helps to control dandruff, hair fall and helps with new growth. I know the amount of hard work and care that goes into making this herbal oil and Ruby does with lots of love and passion to help her clients get the very best product. I stopped buying all other hair products after using this one. Highly recommend this hair oil. Henna: I went to get her henna the first time to cover my gray hair but it does a lot more than that. Ruby's beauty studio now has hair oil and face oil. I've used both and I am very pleased with the products. The face oil is amazing. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I love the way it feels and smells. It is light, non-greasy and easily absorbed. I love that it works well just by itself and also great under moisturiser. It is soft on my face and works well for my dry skin.

She has done the makeup and hairdo really well but she did not do a great job in draping saree. She was in a hurry so she did it in hurry. She was very rude and arrogant. Sometimes in a wedding things won’t go as planned, she should have handled it better. It was supposed to be the big day for the bride and it started really bad.

Where should I begin, I am probably one of her oldest client and have been getting services from her since 2002. So why not a post before, well.. it occurred to me recently, I owe this one to her. So here you go! We started with family wedding looking for a make up and hair stylist for my sister in laws and since than I have been getting facial, henna, threading, event makeup, now yoga and more from her. Ruby is talented, hardworking and so passionate with what she does in her salon. I am in love with her signature mehendi and realized even more after I got somewhere else. Recently, I have started using her hair oil. I have in my head as I write this... it is power pack of vitamins for my hair and I love it. Her facials are not dabbing the stuff but real facial with full hour of massage, steam, blackhead removal that you see an instant glow after the treatment. I also tried yoga with her and I enjoyed the lessons and continue to do the breathing exercises every morning because of her guidance. I admire she is constantly experimenting and making masks, creams, hair oils to help her clients. She is a total package or one stop place when it comes to her services. I love them all, and continue going to her for all in these last 20 years. I was lucky to find her!
